Tang Li Xue and the Fox Sith sat quietly and they waited for quite a long time.

The white fog around them was too thick that they could not see how long the time has passed at all. 

They could not even determine if one night already passed or one day since they could not even see the starry skies or sun from there.

Tang Li Xue even almost accidentally fell asleep out of boredom but she quickly shook her head to clear her sleepiness.

The Fox Sith patted on the grassy ground near it then patted its furry chest.

Tang Li Xue knew that the Fox Sith signaled her to sleep there and it would guard her when she asleep.

However, Tang Li Xue did not want to become dependent on the Fox Sith since she also realized that the Fox Sith already helped her so much so she shook her head to refuse the Fox Sith's tempting offer.

Fortunately, they did not need to wait for too long before one of the two humans saying something.

"It's time. Our shift time is almost over." The human with black hair, black tail, and black fox ears tilted her head and said to her friend.

Her sounds were melodic and sweet, it was really pleasant to ears. Just like Tang Li Xue guessed before, these two humans were actually young girls according to their youthful mellow voice. 

"You are right. Then I will pick the best one amongst them and escort them in." The girl with red hair, red tail, and red fox ears lazily nodded and took a few steps forward toward the crowd of foxes.

"You there, the one with three tails and white fur... also the fox with blue fur, come here! Hmm... That black-furred one is also not bad, come here too!" The red-haired girl shouted out loud with her melodious voice but her tone was really unpleasant as if she was picking some chickens from the wet market.

Under the envious gaze of all [Uncommon] grade foxes, the three [Rare] grade foxes stood up and approaching the red-haired girl with the prideful expression on their face even their snouts tilted a bit upward.

Tang Li Xue also stared at the [Thunder and Lightning Caller Fox], the [White Glacial Frost Fox], and the [Demonic Blood Fox] when they walking forward to the red-haired girl.

She was not that surprised or envious with them since she already knew since the beginning from Bi Fang before when it said she should pass all the cruel trials first to enter Foxes Home since she was a savage beast.

"Wait! Not you! Go back to your place!" The red-haired girl pointed her finger at the [Demonic Blood Fox] and impatiently waved her palm demand it to go back.

Everyone including the [Demonic Blood Fox] itself was stunned by the red-haired girl's impudent words but before the [Demonic Blood Fox] could argue about it, the red-haired girl raised her finger again and pointed it toward Tang Li Xue's direction.

"What I mean is the black fox over there! Quick, come here!" The red-haired girl explained with her melodious voice.

All the foxes there and Tang Li Xue was so shocked and puzzled. It took them quite a while to process everything clearly.

'So that red girl is not calling for that [Demonic Blood Fox] but the Fox Sith beside me?! But why? Fox Sith is only a [Uncommon] grade demonic beast! Don't tell me that they could also see the beast qualification like me?! If not, then why they could pick two [Rare] grade foxes with [Elite] qualification and [Uncommon] grade fox with [Lord] Qualification?'

Tang Li Xue still felt skeptical about it but the Fox Sith growled woke her up from her daze and it also kept staring at her with pitiful expression if Tang Li Xue did not know, she would think that the Fox Sith actually got rejected from entering there.

Tang Li Xue used her paw to push the Fox Sith forward. She waved her paw and told it to go then patted on her own furry chest as if saying 'believe in me' with an expression full of confidence.

The Fox Sith walked forward very slow as if it had heavy lead stuck on its legs and it kept looking back toward Tang Li Xue with a teary face full of reluctance, sadness, and loneliness. 

The foxes around almost puked out several mouthfuls of blood out of anger while thinking: 'You are going to the fox paradise, the place dreamed by all the foxes, not to the hell or jail. Why are you making the expression as if you are being abandoned by the world?!'

ROOOOOAAAAAAAAARRRRR~~!!!

The [Demonic Blood Fox] roared to the skies full of anger and resentment.

Its blood-red eyes slowly opened and it was staring at the Fox Sith with fury and malice.

If it was the other foxes, they would already pass out of fright but the Fox Sith stared back at the [Demonic Blood Fox] calmly and walked past the [Demonic Blood Fox] as if nothing happened between them.

Actually, the Fox Sith was in a really bad mood now because it could not help its beloved silver-white fox to pass the trials and could not keep staying by her side and it would not mind using the [Demonic Blood Fox] as the object to vent its dissatisfaction if the [Demonic Blood Fox] dare to make a move against it.

The [Demonic Blood Fox] also knew that it could not make any move in front of the guardians if not, its precious life would vanish right away so it has no other choice other than restraining its anger for now.

But could not make any move here did not mean that it could not make any move in the trials later!

In fact, many foxes would certainly die or crippled later in the cruel trials!

What? That tiny black fox did not join the trials and could directly enter the Foxes Home?

The [Demonic Blood Fox] was staring at Tang Li Xue with its pair of blood-red eyes. Its gaze was full of killing intent, madness, and bloodlust.

Tang Li Xue's tiny body shuddered when she felt someone staring at her. She stopped staring at the Fox Sith and looking around.

Her topaz blue eyes met with the [Demonic Blood Fox] crimson eyes and she immediately frowned deeply when she felt this crazy black fox have some malicious intention toward her.

The [Demonic Blood Fox] sneered at Tang Li Xue, its savage expression was distorted full of cruelness and fierceness.

'Sigh... what is wrong with that ugly black one? I did not even offend it before and now it kept staring at me with that 'I will certainly kill you' expression?! You should settle your dispute with that red lady or Silly Fox! Not with me! Haih... so this is the suffering of the weak one... I did not even do anything but it's targeting me now?!'

Tang Li Xue gritted her teeth in frustration and dissatisfaction. She steeled her ambition once again to become the strongest and stood above everyone in this Immortal World in the future so no one could bully her anymore!

The red-haired girl escorted the [Thunder and Lightning Caller Fox], the [White Glacial Frost Fox], and the fox sith. All of them entered deeper into the thicker fog area behind the black-haired girl and vanished.

The fox sith took the last glance toward Tang Li Xue with a face full of tears for a while then ran to chase the red-haired girl from behind.

"Attention! All of you here actually don't have enough qualifications to join us! But you all do not need to worry! I will give you all the equal chance to prove yourself worthy to enter our home!" The black-haired girl took a few steps forward and shouted toward the crowd with her sweet voice.

"HOWEVER... these trials would be very cruel and arduous! I bet the one that will pass it all later could be counted by one hand! The rest would be crippled or died! So if you frightened or changed your mind, you can turn back now and walk out from here because you cannot step down halfway after this! I will give you all ten minutes to consider it!" The black-haired girl warned the group of foxes with the stern tone then closed her eyes to wait for ten minutes to pass.

Tang Li Xue already knew about this before but the other foxes did not know it so almost all of them started to waver.

Since if they participated in this trial and died or crippled later, they will lose their chance forever! 

And... They also have another choice...

They could wait for a few hundreds of years then evolve into [Rare] grade like that blue fox and the white fox before and entered without any need to going through the cruel trials.

Even though they forced to take part in the cruel trials like the [Demonic Blood Fox], their chance to pass would be almost certain if they reached the [Rare] grade.

In the end, several foxes decided to step back for now and try it again later after they evolved into the [Rare] grade demonic beast in the future.

From the fifty foxes at the beginning, their group had shrunk into thirty foxes in the end.

Ten minutes had passed without anyone knowing and the black-haired girl opened her eyes again.

"I see, so all of you have some guts after all! But anyone full of guts without any capability to back it is no more than an idiot! As idiots, you all will die sooner or later so I will not waste my words to warn you all again! Now the first trial officially begins!" The black-haired girl's sweet voice resounded once again.

After saying her parts, the black-haired girl turned around her slender body and started to dash into the thicker fog area behind her!

While the other foxes still remain clueless and confused on what to do, Tang Li Xue swiftly kicked her legs too and sprint toward where the black-haired girl ran to!
