《Rise of the Horde 》Chapter 83

Xiao Chen raised his wooden mug and chugged down a mouthful of the Traffar. He savored the unique taste of the drink that the trolls were so proud of. It tasted quite somewhat sweet at first but then bitter when the alcohol kicks in and spicy when you gulped it down your throat. He stared at his now empty mug and wondered on how the trolls were able to create such a very unique drink that had three different flavor stages.
Raising his head, he soon caught sight of Fukarr, who had a black eye on his right eye and a swollen left cheek. His right tusk was also chipped a little and there was some dirt that stuck on his chin. "Failed right?" He said towards Fukarr, who sat beside him and rubbing his swollen cheek.
Xiao Chen offered Fukarr a mug of Traffar which the rejected orc quickly accepted and chugged down the drink in one go before sighing, "Guess lady luck isn't on my side. I didn't think that she was so violent and strong. She rejected me quiet harshly but what was more embarrassing was that she knocked me down with one strike and thrashed me throughly." Fukarr refilled his mug and chugged it down till his mug was empty before heaving a heavy sigh.
Xiao Chen was about to take a sip of his drink when he saw Dug'mhar flying his way. He quickly stood up and shuffled to the left to evade the flying orc. The Rumbling Clan chief crashed down head first to the log that Xiao Chen was sitting on, which caused Fukarr's back to hit the ground with his legs pointed in the air.
"Uh... the world is spinning... spinning and spinning...this perfect one is going to sleep," Dug'mhar muttered as he clutched his head while trying to stand up. He was stumbling side to side before falling on his back with a soft thud and he was out cold.

Xiao Chen shook his head in helplessness and shrugged his shoulders and sat back down on his sit while giving a hand to help Fukarr up.
Boisterous laughter and singing accompanied the unique music that the battle band was playing. The lucky male orcs who didn't get rejected by those that they admired were merrily swaying to the beat that was being played. Skipping and jumping while flailing their arms in the air, Xiao Chen can't figure out what sort of dance they are dancing.
Draegh'ana was glancing in the direction of Xiao Chen from time to time. She was slowly munching on the meat that was served in front of her, which was placed on a clay plate. A look of anticipation was in her eyes as she steal glances at her chieftain.
She had her head down and was about to take another bite of her food when a pair of feet showed up in her sight. Someone was standing in front of her "Can I invite you to a dance?", she wasn't sure of who the voice belonged to because of the noise of the feast. She raised her head up with the anticipation, hoping that the person who was in front of her was the one that she was expecting.
Upon seeing the abdomen of the one standing in front of her, a frown emerged from her lips and she didn't bother to continue raising her head. She just snorted and focus her attention on the food in front of her and just waved her left hand at the one who was trying to invite her. Her hand was shooing away the poor orc who plucked the courage to ask her out.
The rejected orc had an awkward look on his face and turned around dejected as he was quickly rejected and his admired one didn't even bother to look at his face. He walked away with heavy steps and shoulders hunched.

Draegh'ana raised her head and look at the back of the orc that she just rejected. She snorted in annoyance before looking around where she sat. There were only a few of them, not even a dozen of them were left still in their sit who were part of the army. The other female orcs who joined the army were already invited by the male orcs and were merrily dancing to the beat.
Glancing around, she caught sight of Aro'shanna knocking down another unlucky male orc with a punch. The violent female orc wasn't satisfied just knocking down the one who disturbed her meal and dragged the unlucky orc behind a tent. With the tent covering what was happening, grunts of pain from the male orc sounded accompanied by heavy thudding sounds. It lasted for a few seconds.
Draegh'ana focused her gaze at where the sounds were coming from and caught sight of the male orc trying to crawl away. His face was bruised badly, cheeks swollen and mouth bleeding. There was a look of pain in his eyes as he crawled away as fast as his hands allows him to. He was already almost a few feet away from the tent and was fully visible when Aro'shanna came out behind the tent with a displeased face. The displeased female orc stood above the crawling orc and gave him a stomp in the back before going away, back to where she left her plate.
The annoyed Aro'shanna breathed out heavily and munched down on her food while glancing around with a dangerous glint on her eyes warning those who were planning to ask her out to dance. A few male orcs that were planning to approach her scurried away quickly, afraid of suffering the same fate as their peer, who was still crawling away from the displeased female orc.
Draegh'ana pitied the poor warrior who was busy crawling away. The little Grogus attended to Aro'shanna and brought to her a lot of food. Little Grogus was serving Aro'shanna like he was her slave and a look of fear was in his eyes as he glanced at the crawling orc.
Draegh'ana glanced towards her chieftain in anticipation. She was waiting patiently for the chieftain to approach her, but it seemed it would not happen since the chieftain was conversing with Fukarr and merrily drinking.

A World Worth Protecting
By the year 3029 CE, Earth’s technology has developed rapidly, borders no longer exist, and Earth has been unified, marking the beginning of the era of the Federation. At that time, a huge sword flew from the heavens, piercing the sun and causing a huge sensation on Earth. Perhaps because the scabbard of the sword was already in tatters, countless shards have broken off from it following the collision with the sun and spread across the universe. Many of these shards have landed on various places across Earth. With the arrival of the bronze sword and its shards, a new unlimited energy source has suddenly appeared on Earth. This energy source has since been named Spirit Qi. Spirit Qi is like air, thick in some places and thin in others. As the Federation and other factions gather more shards, they discover more information on cultivation, pill refinement, Spirit Stone refinement, and other techniques. The words on the shards have an ancient feel to them, making it a trend for people to use ancient language. The appearance of Spirit Qi rapidly makes the original energy sources obsolete and has completely changed people’s lives. Not only has the Spirit Internet been formed, Spirit Qi has also changed the course of Human Civilization, causing the world to enter a civilization of cultivation. This would later come to be known as the Spirit Inception Era.

How to Raise Your Dungeon
A dungeon core awakens for the first time. It knows nothing, it has nothing, but it can hear something. Voices, whispering, talking, and sharing. For now, they are distant. But it believes, if it proves itself, they may provide it with wisdom and direction. And so its slow but steady growth begins. Polls will come when the dungeon specifically wants to choose between a number of options, and believes it will receive an answer. However, it will "hear" any comments made on the most recent chapter, and these will shape its behaviour. It trusts you implicitely. This story is an exercise in stretching my creative muscles, so with each decision made, the options and opportunities open to the dungeon will change- some closing off forever. The dungeon will face threats periodically, and its fate in these encounters will be heavily influenced by your advice, though it will of course do its absolute best even without advice. It hardly wants to die. Heavily inspired by There Is No Epic Loot Here, Only Puns, though my approach to the concept is somewhat different from that work.

Each and every shimmer in the starry canvas serves as one’s infinite opportunities in the vast sea of the future. The world, however, is far from the ideals of such a mantra. Complacency is the enemy of progress, yet to the four known nations, each one sees enemies around their borders. An example: A village isolated from the nation of Alkai prevents the lives of many from progressing. It’ll take a society, a group, even a whipped together rag-tag team to jump start the quest for progress. An escape from a motionless home—in order to search for a greater future, Mira approaches her blade in a new light. Any illustrations I use for covers and chapters are illustrations I have drawn myself unless otherwise stated.
