《Rise of the Horde 》Chapter 45

With the beat of the war drums and a long blast from the battle horn, the Yohan First Battalion started their march back home and along with them were their new friends.
Chants like they were replying against each other echoed after one another as they go on their march. With their shields resting lazily on their left, they marched at the same pace, keeping a good distance from each box formation.
The other races stared in awe at the display of unity and discipline of the warriors of Yohan. Even the humans to the west and to the south were less disciplined than the orcs that they are witnessing.
High from above, a long serpentine of different races marched towards the village of Yohan. The orcs of the other tribes had a look of pride on their faces as they watch their kin on the move.
The Yohan First Battalion marched with pride as they go, chest out, broad shoulders raised and with spines as straight as a spear unlike their other brethren who had their shoulders droop low and marched sloppily in a messy rhythm.
*****
Almost two weeks of continous march, Xiao Chen with his army and their new friends arrived at the village of Yohan. The survivors gawked at the sight that they were witnessing, they suspected that it was a human settlement instead of an orcs because of the things that they saw, like the farmland to the north and the tall well made wooden walls.
Arkhan and Galuk orcs continued on their daily business after acknowledging the presence of their chieftain and the disciplined army behind him. Rakh'ash'tha was the one at the helm who managed the village while Xiao Chen and the others were gone but he was more focus on the strange things that the chieftain introduced to him, the wonders of the modern era.

Xiao Chen assembled all his orcs and informed them all with the looming threat from the east, the minions of the demon that are on a path of destruction and slaughter.
"We need to work together inorder to survive!"
"No matter what race you belong!"
"Let go of old hatreds!"
....
After rallying everyone towards one goal, Xiao Chen distributed labors to the races. The kobolds and goblins in mining for ores and other useful materials. The ogres and orcs armed with huge hammers to work as stonemasons, who had no qualms about it due to their innate strength. The trolls, well the trolls were great wood workers and anything that has something to do with wood and nature, they are the experts.
Mohrios and his race became the transporters of almost everything, they were twice or thrice more powerful than the beast of burden in moving things around. Their thick and huge frames were ideal for it since they rejected Xiao Chen's suggestion of them partaking in tearing down parts of the mountain.
Mohrios said that they won't participate in destroying nature's gift and risk invoking the wrath of mother nature.
Everybody, no matter the race and age, they all sweated and worked for their survival. They didn't know what the young chieftain was up to but they had no other choice but to trust in him.
Every single day, they poured sweat and gathered what was required of them.
"What are you planning to do with all the boulders, chief?"
Sakh'arran finally can't endure his curiosity and approached the chieftain who was at it again, busy scribbling some messy lines and wordings on a scroll that he can't understand.
"We'll gonna build a city wall!"
Xiao Chen proudly replied, looked up to Sakh'arran as he leaned and stretch his aching spine a bit then stared at the scroll infront of him a bit, making sure that everything is correct before continuing on.

"Forgive me for my rudeness chief but... That is nonsense! The pinkskins spent years after years in building their city walls before being completed, and us who knows how much time we have left before the pawns of that damn demon descends upon us!"
Sakh'arran uttered, his tone filled with anger and displeasure while eyeing the chieftain.
"This is madness! I entrusted my clan to you to honor my father's words and in hopes of redeeming our former glory, you had earned my respect and gratitude the past months but now! I am starting to doubt wheather trusting you was a mistake"
The displeased orc expressed his emotions, his worry for his clan, the burdens and shame that they must cleanse.
"Did I ever make any irrational decisions?"
"Did I make you do things that are worthless?"
"Did I... let... the... sacrifices... of... my kin... be in.. vain!?"
Xiao Chen stood up and faced the displeased orc infront of him muttering everything, word per word loudly and clearly.
The burden that was on his shoulders, it was very heavy. It was too heavy that he felt being suffocated by it, the decisions that he had to make, the plans that he had to come up with, the lives that he had to protect.
Blueish silver light blazed upon Xiao Chen's eyes as his anger flared. He was receiving the most pressure as he is the one at the helm, a single mistake and they will all be sent to the afterlife.
Sakh'arran stared at the eyes of the chieftain, the blueish silver light in his eyes made him finally realized the blunder that he had done.
"Apologies, my chieftain. I am just worried that my clan will end in my hands. I'll accept any punishment that you will mete out but just spare my clansmen and continue to lead them"
Sakh'arran kneeled down infront of the chieftain, with his blade laid infront of him. He was prepared to receive his punishment and he knew the retribution for his blunder was death.
"Rise and pick your blade! I have more used of you alive than dead! Redeem your clan by your own hands, that is your responsibility to your clan and not mine."
"Remember this, no matter how impossible things are. If there is a will, there is a way. An orcs will must be tougher than iron, engraved that in your mind"
Xiao Chen lectured Sakh'arran then sat down and continued on his work, the blueish silver haze that was on his eyes faded. Only Sakh'arran and the one peeking inside the chieftain's tent witnessed the sudden change on Xiao Chen's eyes.

Dungeon's Path
The only places I have posted the story and allow it to exist are on RoyalRoad, Scribblehub, and my Patreon. So the world ended. Whoopsie? We didn’t even see it coming. Quite literally as it came at us faster than the speed of light. Don’t worry though, it got better. Also, I am not joking about the world ending. Most people say that and mean humans are inconvenienced for some reason. Nope, all matter disintegrated at the atomic scale there for a few moments. Apparently the local universe wasn’t actually stable? Don’t ask me to go into too much detail. It would require both of us to have a few more college degrees than sense, and I at least lack them (both the degrees and the sense). Anyway, the energy/matter/wibbly wobbly strings were at a local minimum and not the universal minimum. Basically, what we took for sea level was actually a nice little mountain lake and when the dam busted so did, well, everything. Now here is where things go a bit off track with what normal meant before. You see magic is real, qi is real, gods are real. Not on old Earth mind you but souls pay little attention to time and space so we dreamed of it. In fact, the closer the shift in reality got to Earth, the closer our dreams got to the new reality. This is basically me tip toeing around the fact that it was a ‘System Apocalypse’. Reality became a video game, I became a dungeon, and this is my story. Doyle Huxley just wanted a normal life but as the above might clue you in on that just isn’t in the cards. He gets to experience a “Path Based System Apocalypse” and some early paths he takes, both literally and figuratively, lead to him becoming a dungeon. The aim is to release chapters once a week on Friday. Cursing will be avoided and no naughty adult action will take place in the story.

Aaron hadn't had a good fight in ages. No one in the known universe could give him one, he was just too strong. So, he was going to search for it in the unknown parts of the universe. That's when a portal appeared in front of him with a message: the dimension on the other side was in danger and requested his help. However, inter-dimensional travel came with its own rules. One of them was that his overwhelming power needed to be left behind, that he must tread the path to power from the beginning all over again. Not that it would truly hinder someone like him. Excited at the prospect of having found a worthy opponent, he stepped into the portal. On the other side, he found a medieval world controlled by a mysterious system. Holographic panels appeared at a mere thought, defining each living being in numbers, determining their classes, and changing their very selves. In a world where power reigns supreme, the morale is fluid and the enemies are diverse. But they weren't prepared to deal with him. Witness Aaron's conquest of a world full of conflict, wild beasts, and magical items.

Death of Humanity
I'm by no means a writter, I'm doing it purerly for relaxation and to keep myself busy. As a complete amateur please constructive critisim ONLY, I'm a bit of a perfectionist so i might die from too many negative comments :P lol. A certain sky captain gets involved with an illegitiment young princess of an alien race, conspiracies drive them together and his crew to uncover the dark secret behind the lost sector of their history. Will they fall into despair as everything is taken from them and is the little princess who she really says she is... Ps: It starts a bit slow, I felt compelled to start by building the world and characters without rushing into the action. Upload speed I'm thinking 1000 words a week ish until I get ahead and might do two extra uploads per week sitting at around 1-2 chapters a week. Enjoy :)

No Strings Attached [Rewritten]
Warning Just so you know, you better be paying attention to the chapter title or else it's going to be like travelling across multiverses. Explanation Due to a single comment made by a wonderful person, or some douchebag in real life, I have decided to create two seperate stories. A rewritten version, and the original version. The rewritten version will somewhat follow the original storyline of the original version, but will have extra content, extra side stories of course rewritten personalities. The original one will be like a rough draft of where I want the story to go. Like for instance, the original story is like the first Link from 'Legend of Zelda', choppy but fun to read. The rewritten story is the Link from any game during and after Windwaker, smooth and somewhat follows the main premise. Overall both are going to be probably terribly done but hey, I'm creating a furture and past story so what should you expect. - Styx Whatever just put up the revised description. - Ariel Edited Summary Jay W. Blu, a dashing and charming rich boy who's been spoiled his whole life. He is very cocky, has a case of egomania and isn't exactly what you call a 'Relatable Main character', unless you somehow fit one of these descriptions and then relate all you want. He had everything you would probably want if you weren't pessimistic, realistic, or chronically depressed. But as most reincarnation/summoning stories go, he get's himself killed at whatever age he was and is sent to another world. Normally, he would be summoned as something you would call a hero, but since that's to cliche by my standards he is something else. Instead of being the hero of the people that he was told about by a friend, he instead summoned as the anti-hero aka, 'The Hero of Demons'. Now he must traverse the lands slaying opposing heroes as he tries to keep his mind straight, although it's to late. There will be weird people along the journey like a fangirling war general, a hive mind and a manly magical girl? Oh well, Jay is too pure to see love anyways.

Magikind
Disclaimer: This is a low-fantasy, soft-sci-fi genre. In fact, it's a variety of genres, so don't be too put off by the tags Through several centuries of selective breeding, these beings, known as mages, have become part of the very foundations of society. However, some humans refused to change or adapt along with them. They believed in purity and refused to interbreed with magikind. Known as the manush, they were a rarity among society. Now, in the fifth millennia, the manush are thought to be extinct. With magikind ruling the world, a three-way war grips society between Eurasia, Afro-Australian Alliance and The Americas. In these uncertain times, a manush called Gin enters the Eurasian army. From there, our journey unfolds. A story of how mankind could realistically evolve while still pushing boundaries. PS. I am also posting here: Creative Novels so don't worry, I'm not being stolen from. PSS. Join the discord server for updates on the novel: Link to Server Note: This is a rewrite of this: Magikind [Original] and a good number of people have read what I've done so far beforehand (patreon, beta readers etc, not to mentions old fans of the original etc. I've written 35 chapters so far for this rewrite), so don't be alarmed by any early reviews or ratings.
