"Teren Hark"
His name resounded in the whole dining area.
Teren breathed in and he focused.
Swoosh*
His senses spread everywhere. With concentration, it was like a wind sweeping through everyone. When he spoke of his name, who here have malice towards him?
Depending on this information, he will know what is the best action to take. Promise benefits? Terrorize them? Bind them through contracts? Or just kill them all to finally remove a possible threat within their territory?
Taking them in is the best result. Teren didn't want to kill them since they could be useful. However, if their malice is stronger than he expected, he had no choice, they cannot be controlled.
But...
'Nothing?'
Teren frowned. Was his name not known?
"AH!?"
There was a sudden reaction. This confused Teren, what kind of reaction was that? However, he soon learned it wasn't a reaction to his name.
In Teren's mind, it should only be fear that turned to hate or ignorance. The former will react as such but with malice which he didn't pick up. The latter is just silence. At least, that's what he expected.
The man who reacted was raised in the air. His neck was carried by a single hand.
"A-alpha!?"
The others were stupefied at the Alpha's action of choking his own comrade. But soon, he released the guy and reprimanded him.
"Next time you mess up and pour water onto me again, you're dead!"
The Alpha then walked back to their building.
"I'll go ahead, I'll change. Give that guy a sense for being so clumsy. Tsk! Ruining my mood!"
Upon learning what the guy just did, it made sense.
"Bro, you gotta be careful! I didn't know you're that clumsy to spill water over the leader."
"W-wait! I didn't do it...!?"

The guy who was just choked was wronged and confused.
Seeing this little fuss, Teren raised an eyebrow.
'Oh... so that's it.'
Meanwhile, the Alpha went back to his cell. None of the police officers stopped him as if he's going back to a room in a hotel. With his hand in his pockets, he reached his cell which is really like a hotel room, unlike a prison cell!
Once he closed the door, there was a few moments of silence while his head casts down.
A few moments ago...
"Teren Hark"
That name entered everyone's ears and reached the Alpha's as well.
For a moment, he stopped eating - he froze.
'Teren Hark...'
'Teren Hark...?'
That name kept repeating in his head. It sounds familiar...
"Teren... Hark... -gasp!"
The Alpha immediately turned back and finally saw Teren's face. It was different from the devil he encountered that day but the appearance was the same. The only missing was the two voids that seemed to suck the soul out of his eyes with just simple eye contact from this devil.
However, there's no mistake.
'Teren Hark... Boss Hark of the Handwing Gang!'
As his memories resurfaced so that his bladder. The stench began to smell, in panic, the Alpha had saved his pride by intentionally spilling his glass of water and blaming it on one of his followers. For him, it was a necessary sacrifice.
But pride was not the problem here.
"Holy shit! Why did I come back here, they will offend that devil!"
Teren has always thought that fear will soon turn to hatred if left behind. However, in this case, it seemed that the fear have taken deeply rooted. The Alpha had no malice, he was traumatized!
He immediately replaced his pants. His attire was different from the jumpsuit that the prison provided anyway.

With haste, he made his way back, surprising the others.
'What do I do? What do I do? Do I prostrate?'
He had been the leader of this prison for months that it was embedded into his being. The Alpha should be superior!
Maybe, if he saw the pair of voids once again, he will prostrate, but he was scared, not desperate. Unless Teren starts killing, he wouldn't throw off his pride.
'That's right, negotiation!'
As a businessman, the Alpha have cleared his mind. Since he got here, he bribed his way through the guards and continued his business inside. His whole life experience immediately made him the leader here until he owns the place when his influence reached past the city.
When he heard that the Handwing Gang dispersed, he tried testing the waters. Is this the result of it? The devil came knocking on his door because he simply touched the water with his toes?
'No, as long as I can preserve my life, I can just move on again and amass new wealth!'
The Alpha determinedly said as he walked onto where the Interview was happening.
"You... come into my room."
'The fuck am I acting almighty after peeing myself!!??'
However, seeing his followers' stares, the Alpha just instinctively became domineering. Old habits die hard. Fortunately for him, Teren understood him and didn't do anything out of line.
Of course, he wouldn't agree, he will just let himself in as if he was forced.
"What are you doing? Get... get this kid into my room!"
The Alpha shouted at his men. With him as the leader, all those who have a Spirit will be in the Beta Group, only second to him. All the strongest men are in Delta Group and the rest are in the Omega Group.
Even these Aberrants didn't question him and pulled Teren.
"Come here! Hehe, you're in luck! The leader seemed to be pissed off and wanted to mess with a newbie like you!"
The First Beta said in an attempt to scare Teren. However, at the back of their heads, they were asking-
'But why is the room?'
'AHH! Don't talk to him like that! Damn it! You idiots!' the Alpha gritted his teeth, 'But I'm stupid too! I can't tell them to stop or they will get suspicious!'
And as they were about to enter the building, two men blocked them.
"Alph, what are you planning?"
Matthew asked with a glare. Mesi was beside him who's sweating a lot. A moment later, Derek joined them with a bothered expression.

Sexy Sect Babes
“One in a billion.” Jack kept repeating the mantra in his head. “One in a billion.” That was the number the Omni-Corps liked to cite whenever someone stepped onto one trans-mat pad and then simply… never stepped off the other. “Safer than a car,” he repeated as he slogged through the snow, his mining overalls doing at least a passable job of keeping out the cold as he brushed aside a tree branch. “Safer than a plane. Or a starship. Safest form of transport in the Star League.” He slammed his fist into a nearby tree, exo-empowered strength shattering it into little more than scattered bark and kindling. “Yeah, well I never heard of a car ride stranding some prick in another dimension!” He roared, his voice echoing through the seemingly endless forest around him. Then he kept marching. He’d seen the fire off in the distance. And given all the snow around, he sincerely doubted it was natural. Which left the unnatural. Which meant people. He hoped. Because even if the trans-mat had screwed up, he doubted it had dumped him too far off the central finite curve. The fact that the air was breathable and that he could recognize the trees around him as oak told him that much. And if the dimension he was in had trees native to Earth, chances are it would have animals too. Of which humans would hopefully be no exception. “Because I’ll be damned if I spend the rest of my days talking to goddamn squirrels.” No, if there were humans on this mudball, he was going to find them. One way or another.
