《Psycho X Psychic 》Chapter 124: Teren's Plan

The 'show' that Teren wanted them to see had finally come to an end. Mike was tall and slender. Although Nick was taller and the Spirit of Ghoul was better for him, it didn't fit his primary Spirit.
"Go get an umbrella, the sunlight will hurt you a little. Later, I'll explain to you its other properties."
It was Mike's first time so he was not in the state to understand what Teren was saying. That is why Teren looked at Catherine instead of Mike himself.
Catherine understood and assisted Mike.
"What's your purpose for showing us your trump card?"
Ivan straightforwardly asked. He had already calmed down from his previous strange excitement.
"No... actually, I know it already."
He said without waiting for Teren to answer.
'You want to show that you're not any weaker than when you fended off the entire world's force back then. Furthermore, you're creating pawns for your use... in other words, you're about to actively participate, maybe, even in the Spirit War.'
Ivan thought and the biggest question popped up next.
'But there are only five gangs that can participate... who will you drag down and take their place? Is it...'
He stopped his thoughts.
"I hope that we can continue our alliance from now on."
"Yes"
"Well then, we'll see you later again once other houses disturbed you."
They then disappeared along with those who Teren 'gifted' to them, leaving few individuals. Afterward, Teren sat on his 'throne' and asked.
"Did everyone bring their phones today?"
Teren then took out his phone but then seemingly remembered something, he then called.
"Eline..."
Eline was suddenly covered with goosebumps before running up to Teren and kneeling.
"Teren, sorry! Catherine stopped what I said so-"
"Yes, you should thank Catherine. I'll let it go if you massaged my back."

Teren said as if he had a bright idea. After all, he can no longer hurt any of them. They were just moving through fear and power.
"Yes, on it!"
But because Teren's back was facing the wall, Eline's position was awkward and tiring, however, she massaged it.
"Ah..."
Teren's body jerk up and straightened when Eline kneaded his back.
"Eek...!"
Eline thought she did something wrong but...
"No, I... I was just surprised. It was actually good."
Teren frowned. It was the first time he actually had someone massaged his back. Well, the last one was when he had yet to bent. His little sister would force him to lie on his belly for her to step on.
Meanwhile, from the warehouse's entrance, someone was biting her finger out of frustration.
"Grr..."
Teren didn't know if Eline was just good or he really needed one after such a long time so he asked.
"Do you practice massaging before?"
"I-I do it with my mother or my father after his work from time to time."
Teren nodded. Although he didn't plan on using Eline on the battlefield, he seemed found another use for her.
"Han- ah, is he still unconscious?"
"... no, I... just woke up."
Hanon replied, full of exhaustion.
Seeing that he is not in the best state, Teren just asked Catherine to create what he wanted to create some days ago - a group chat. He then told her to add everyone except for Iesa and the four.
"So, this is what I want to achieve with this group."
Everyone's ears focused on Teren's next words.
"The end goal would be to kill those who stand in our way towards the Spirit Plane."
Yes, that was Teren's first step of the plan but for the group, that's the end goal as after that, he can do everything by his own.

Knowing what the Spirit Plane is, Uncle Jo asked for confirmation.
"Boss Hark, you mean we will have to win the Spirit War?"
He spoke as if it was impossible. The others know it was ridiculous as well.
"Ah? Of course not." Teren waved his hand and continued, "We will plunge the five gangs, the SSDA, and everyone else to nothing. Kill those who obstruct us first then kill those who are left, understand?"
Uncle Jo slowly shook his head.
"Have confidence. They are not the strongest enemies and that's for the future. Our current plan is to gather all the Aberrants in this city, 'eating' them up. Next, the Aberrants in Pinha City. Afterward, take the reigning gangs in other cities, doing the same for their Aberrants. We will do this again and again until we become as strong as the other houses."
Those who were in a gang or at least have knowledge of the chaos Teren's plan will entail gulped.
"Later, wait for my message about getting another Spirit and if there are no more questions, dismiss. Just ask later in the group chat if you got one."
Teren stood up, making Eline almost fall while massaging him with all her might but he caught her before walking out. Nick followed him and then the others. After they left, the only ones that are left are Nathan, Uncle Jo, Dennis, Old Derman, and Clade.
They were too shocked that they've begun to ponder. Helping Teren actually has its benefits!
Nathan told them what happened to Nick and how he gain a Spirit.
Having one Spirit has changed their lives. For those who have a second one, they knew it improved that changed life. Then what happens once they got a third one? Their hearts began pounding. Isn't this actually an opportunity?
It's not like Teren is sending them to their deaths. He needs them and he will give them power. Having the might to go against those people like Gant was a dream come true for these people. After all, they are not students. They are already gangsters who have experience in the darker side of the world!
Meanwhile, Dan derived the van and brought them back to the plaza which they separated. But instead of feeling relieved, they felt anxiety. There are invisible people who seemed to be always holding a flamethrower?
Teren said they are enemies too. What if these people were listening to Teren's speech? And since they are called 'Special Forces' they will be assassinated.
With this thought, they were reluctant to part with Teren, who cannot harm them by the contract.
"Why are you still following me?" Teren realized this and turned to them

They know little of what that means, but they have to figure out the rules that are now their lot, for they have little hope to escape their predicament otherwise. They have to become Professionals on their own and rejoin the Empire. They will figure out their new lives one way or another. But will there be an Empire waiting for them when the Gates re-open? Caught in a clash of empires and high tiers, they will do what little they can. They will step up and do their best. One way or another. The Infinite Labyrinth is a slice-of-life litRPG adventure set in a real historical setting. It's a hard, crunchy litrpg. Expect blue boxes everywhere, and the system itself is very mathy. It started life as a serial. I prepared some proper worldbuilding, with enough details and background for lots of different potential story arcs, but as I wrote, I realized the main story needs to have a definitive end. So, there are four books in total, for a bit under 1500 pages, plus additional side stories, and even maybe a sequel one day. The Gore tag was added as a precaution because there are a few scenes with some light gore.
