《Psycho X Psychic 》Chapter 123: Spirit Pass

Everyone focused on what Teren will do to the pitiful handsome guy in the wheelchair.
Those who have experienced Teren's cruelty firsthand just had their episode of recalling the traumatic incident last night when they will witness another form of torture.
"Take his Spirit... no way, he will show us his trump card...!?" Ivan could only think of one thing when he heard Teren-
The rumored Spirit that can let the Devil Himself take other Spirits.
Are they going to see it now?
Teren focused, not caring for others' thoughts, he used that Spirit..
At once, everyone could feel something uneasy building up inside of them as spectral light was coming out of Clade's head.
"Hah..? What? Argh!"
Clade didn't know what's happening. All he knew was that there's something being taken from him and like an arm being removed by brutally pulling it with mere force, Clade's whole body twitched in pain.
"Be careful."
Teren whispered as a translucent face of a man came out of Clade's head.
"If you don't endure it, you will die. Trust me, I've done this countless times already."
He then slowly moved his hand up and like a magnet, the spectral figure went along with it out of Clade's head.
"GRRR!!"
Clade has felt a lot of pain after overusing his Spirit. However, that was nothing compared to this. Yet, he has to endure it. Death is worse than pain, he repeated in his head. HIs teeth were forming cracks from how much he clenches them, blood began tricking from his mouth.
Teren successfully took it out after a minute but for Clade, it felt like a whole hour had passed.
"... he just fainted? Lucky him." he spoke while there was blue mist swirling around his arm.

Ivan walked forward with trembling hands. He looked at it as if it was the most impossible thing happening in the whole world.
"Eron! Are you seeing this!?"
"Y-yes..." Eron replied in a stupor as well.
"It's a Spirit in the flesh! We're visually seeing it with our bare eyes! Sir Teren, can i touch it!?"
Ivan was like a hungry wolf while Teren was holding its food.
"No," Teren said before putting his hand back on Clade's head.
"HAA-!"
Clade gasped in horror as he was 'possessed by the Spirit he had already tamed before. Sounds of whimpering could be heard as he protected himself mentally and emotionally.
"W-why did you put it back?" Eron asked what Ivan wanted to say.
Teren didn't answer. He only waited for Clade to finish his torment and relax. After a few minutes, Clade finally huffed in exhaustion, taming his own Spirit for the second time like Teren expected.
Then, the scene reoccured when Teren put his hand on Clade's head.
"No.. no-no... please don't..."
Clade cried as he pleaded but soon, he shrieked in pain again. This time, it felt like a whole day for him as he fainted again.
Ivan gulped, realizing what Terne just did, meanwhile, Eron made a step back.
That should be a Great Spirit, right? To use it, you should at least sacrifice something in exchange. Why did he use it like that without any concern?
Those questions swirled inside the minds of those who knew what's happening.
For them, Teren was clearly mad.
However, he was not finished. But before Teren put the Spirit back to Clade, a hand held his wrist, stopping him.
"I-isn't that enough? At this rate... he will die..."
Hanon spoke with a ghastly expression.

Teren nodded, making him relieved but at the next moment, he felt his mind became vulnerable as something entered in him.
Hanon's eyes trembled as he looked at Teren's hand on his chest.
"Y-you..?"
"I'm just lending it to you, I'll take it back later."
Hanon began to feel despair as the Spirit took action to 'possess' him. He dropped to his knees as white foams came out of his mouth.
"Sir Hanon...!"
Eline immediately ran up to him. Mike stopped her but was unable to. She glared at Teren and shouted.
"Why did you do that?!"
Teren stayed silent which let Eline continue.
"You don't care, do you!?"
"You're hurting Sir Hanon, you monster!"
"What if this happened to Ies-" Eline was abruptly stopped when Catherine closed her mouth.
"Eline... Eline! Think what you're saying!"
This made Eline realized what she was about to say.
"What if this happened to whom?"
Teren slightly tilted his head, instilling panic to not just Eline but to all of her friends.
With a racing heart, Eline frantically looked around and spotted someone else.
"I-I said... what if this happened to Nick."
"Eh? Me?"
Nick pointed at himself, puzzled.
Eline nodded but her eyes were that of an apology. Nick understood that. But if Teren did something to him even though he didn't do anything, he has to blame Eline for it. For them, Teren is unreasonable.
"Hm... I see. If Nick did experience that then that wouldn't be good."
Teren answered, stunning Nick and everyone else.
'Is he serious?' Nick suddenly felt favored which he didn't hate. But at the next moment, he felt a sharp glare from his behind. He already knew whom it is coming from so he didn't dare look back.
'I'm a guy and it's not like Teren is serious about it!'
"But if it's necessary, I'll have to let him experience the suffering." Teren nodded, satisfied with his answer. Afterwhich, he placed his hand onto Hanon. Knowing that it was just 'tamed', he took it out again, making Hanon scream in pain.
All these screams everyone was hearing since Teren began his act were bone-chilling. Only a select few dared to breathe loudly.
Eline could only grit her teeth as she saw Hanon suffer. Furthermore, on the back of her head, she knew, she fucked up. She feared what will happen after this.
Teren got the Spirit again and asked,
"Nick, gaining large muscles isn't really good for martial arts, right?"
"... yeah, it will reduce my flexibility and agility."
Nick replied, knowing what Teren meant by that.
"Then, only one choice, Mike, come here, take your Spirit."
Mike's breathing hastened but still, he walked up and received his first Spirit. This time, Teren didn't retrieve it after he successfully tamed it.
