Hanon looked at Mike and Catherine. He couldn't believe that Teren will put them on the same spot as he is. However, their contracts are a little bit different from his. Still, though, they're on the same boat.

"So conveniently, that's the story. What happens now is to make you guys scream until the moment where any of them feels not only friendship or compassion pushing their hearts but even pity as a fellow human being."

Saying that, Teren pulled Mira's hair up and easily threw her as if she's just a doll. Not feeling the ground by even the soles of her feet, Mira then felt a large impact hit her belly.

Pa*

Teren kicked, not showing mercy even for a girl, which made Mira not fall on the same spot she was pulled but a meter away.

"Gah!"

Once she landed, she immediately coughed up blood, signifying how bad that kick was.

"Too hard?" Teren frowned, forgetting how fragile normal humans were. This was the first time he had to hold back. Before, even if it was normal humans, he planned to kill them anyway so he doesn't hold back.

But whatever, he thought, as he used the Spirit of Healing on Mira.

"Mira!!!"

Eline shrieked after processing what just happened. Even with tied limbs, she wiggled towards her friend who was coughing and crying from pain non-stop.

This was the first time Mira felt such pain. Together with the immense fear, she felt her consciousness fading.

But Teren didn't let her. Stepping at Eline, he walked towards Mira and slapped her.

Pak*

Merciless

A word that even Nick gulped upon thinking.

While his one foot was stepping onto Eline, he slapped Mira again, waking her up.

"N-no...! No! Please, sniff, cough! It hurts! Please!"

Mira cried like a child. The pain on her belly was slowly fading but Teren didn't stop inflicting pain.

"STOP HURTING HER!!!"

Eline roared and bit Teren's leg. However, instead of hurting him, it just took his attention towards her.

Teren stopped and looked at her.

Slowly, Eline released Teren's leg from her bite. Realizing what she had done, she shivered like a puppy while asking for an apology.

"I-I'm sorry... I didn't... I didn't mean to."

Teren dropped Mira who continued to cry.

He turned around and walked past Mike and Catherine. The former closed his eyes and his head turned around while the latter had a blank stare on her face.

Teren took his knife from his bag and went back to Eline.

Seeing what he was holding, Eline shivered and frantically shook her head.

"N-n-n-no!... W-wait! Wait! Please, Teren! I'm sorry!"

However, no matter how much she begged, Teren carried Eline by her hair and threw her like a bag, letting her lie on her back. Without pause, Teren sat on her belly, took both of her hands and-

Shick*

"AHHHH---!"

Eline shrieked from the intense pain as both her palms were pierced to the ground above her, one on top of the other.

Teren nodded in satisfaction. If he punched her in the face, she may receive brain damage which he cannot fix with the Spirit of Healing.

Therefore, he just let her there before looking at Josh and Dan. But before he does so, he held Mira by her cheeks and stared at her.

"Watch them, if you look away, I will do to you what I did to her."

Mira could only nod after glancing at how Eline cries at the pain from her palms being stabbed. Since she was in an uncomfortable position, she moved too much, making the blade in her palms slice her up more.

Mira could only and pointlessly cover both ears while Eline besides her screams at the top of her lungs.

Teren no longer flipped a coin. He just went towards Josh.

"Go away...!" were Josh's last words before he screamed as his fingers simultaneously cracked within Teren's mere grip.

"Ahh--!!"

After the crackling sounds from Josh's both sets of fingers-

Crack*

Teren bent his forearm as if they were just wooden sticks. White bones were sticking out. Its edges cutting the muscle strands and skin as fresh blood escapes.

Crack*

The other forearm met a similar fate.

Teren stood up and didn't heal Josh. He let him lie there broken bones, letting him feel the pain thoroughly. 

He then look at Dan who had yet to see anything as didn't dare to turn his head up. But the moment he felt a pull from his shirt behind, he knew that it was his turn.

He was thrown away.

"Ack!"

With his arms and legs bound, he was unable to cushion his fall. But the moment he saw Eline and Josh, he forgot his pain. They were in a much much worse state. He didn't know what happened to Mira but she seemed traumatized with both hands covering her ears while religiously watching him.

Stomp*

"Huh?'

After that strange sound, Dan lost his sensation from the waist below.

Cough*

He then coughed and blood came out before a pulsating sharp pain came from his spine.

"AHHHH!!!!"

He wanted to roll due to pain but because he was literally crippled, he couldn't even do so.

Teren was satisfied with this. This much, he was confident to heal. Therefore, he let Dan feel the pain while he goes to Eline. He relieved her from her torture by taking out the knife and using the Spirit of Healing to her.

"You can stop watching now."

He said to Mira as he used his Spirit of Healing to Josh too. He waited for a good while before he used it again to Dan.

It took some time before all of their pain was gone along with their screams. 

Teren then turned to the spectating group, making even Nick take a step back. Seeing this, Teren was a bit disappointed in him. But it was fine. Because it seemed that there's one person who was supporting him.

Although he was puzzled.

'Why does she seemed to be enjoying this?'

He just shook his head, thinking that he might be just misunderstanding something.

"Did anyone sign their contracts after that?"

He then looked at the three people who held their contracts.
