《Psycho X Psychic 》Chapter 95: Second Parent

Morning break came.
Thudthudthudthud*
Eline's heart was beating fast and heavy. No, it's not because she has a crush on her teacher, that's one but the main reason was that she was called together with Teren.
Anxiety.
Did Iesa tell Sir Hanon about it?
What if Nick thinks that we told the teachers about him?
If this matter became big, we would be in deeper trouble.
Unknown to Hanon, because of his call, Eline was being a nervous wreck. She came out and waited for Teren to come out. Seeing his dull face, she clicked her tongue bitterly.
"Wait"
She put up her hand but Teren just kept walking, not even sparing a glance to her. For him, talking to her was just annoying and bothering. So his thought process simply chose that ignoring her would be the best answer. It's either because he's lazy to think or he doesn't really care, he didn't think that this would just add fuel to the fire.
Eline gritted her teeth and pulled Teren's arm to stop him but for a moment, she felt that she held a machine as that arm didn't even budge. That was only for a split second but Teren reacted and let himself get pulled.
With a sigh, he looked at Eline, waiting for her to talk. The latter just thought that Teren's strength was just her imagination and let it pass to the back of her head.
"Do you know your place? How dare you ignore me?"
Because of the irritation, her words became sharper.
"I just didn't see you."
Teren said an obvious lie.
"Tsk! Listen, I don't know why Sir Hanon called us but say that there is no problem, okay? Whatever it is about, no problem, do you understand?"
"Sure..."
Eline was not satisfied with his answer but she can't do anything about it. Furthermore, Iesa might be looking from somewhere.

'I don't know what's the deal with that bitch but if I lingered around, she may see me.' she didn't realize anything between Iesa and Teren. In her mind, these two were worlds apart and it's because they are only seatmates that they interact.
What about the time Iesa was following Teren or when she leaned on him? There must be some context there, right?
Eline fooled herself since she couldn't really see Teren and Iesa being an item.
Reaching the faculty door, she stopped and looked if she looks fine. Since there was no mirror and her phone broke, she had no choice but to turn around and asked Teren.
"Do I look fine? I look fine, right?"
"... yes."
Teren decided on one thing before he answered Eline's question.
'Should I peel up her face first later this night?'
But Teren soon shook his head. He decided not to let his personal feelings further influence his future actions. He will only slaughter them later to make Nick a banner to repel any future insects.
Three students will disappear while camping. They are together with a violent gangster.
They will make sure that no evidence will be enough to make Nick be charged by the law. But that doesn't mean that he will not be seen as the 'suspect'
'I can only do this because of Nick, I should do something for him in the future... wait, yeah, I've already done his request by taking the Spectre Gang but...'
While Teren was thinking, Eline finally entered the faculty room after she fixed herself. After hearing Teren's answer, Eline didn't trust his answer one bit even though it was her who asked in the first place.
Following Eline, the two went to Hanon's desk who have a heavy expression.

"Sir Hanon?"
Teres frowned when he heard Eline's cutesy tone. He didn't expect he would be disturbed by it.
"Eh? Ah, Eline and... Teren. Sit there, sit there..."
Hanon smiled.
'Shit! I actually don't know what to say. I want to stop Teren but... I can't speak with Eline here. However, I need her here to see her future. I want to see if any of my decision will change her fate.'
He could've just looked into Teren's future but unfortunately, he no longer has the guts. He was sure that Teren has a way to learn if a Spirit was being used to him. Therefore, he could offend this devil which is not worth it!
'So what should I say?'
Without any choice, Hanon spoke to Eline.
"Actually, sorry, Eline, but could you wait near the door first? I have to talk to Teren personally. I'll just call you once I'm finished talking to him."
It was an unreasonable request since she was called there with Teren but not only was Eline just a student, she also couldn't disobey Hanon specifically so with no questions asked, she waited.
Hanon glanced left and right to see that the other teachers nearby were busy doing their own business or taking a break to give attention to them.
He finally looked Teren and gulped before finally speaking with a low nad humble tone. However, his appearance was still that of a teacher in front of student to to garner suspicions.
"I... I saw Eline's future..."
With just that, there was no turning back.
Though Teren has already figured that already. What kind of a coincidence would it be for a future-seeing man to call him and his future victim?
"Teren... I know it's not my place but... could you please spare them? Whatever it is, I will deal with it."
Hanon said then glanced at Eline. Unexpectedly, she was also looking at him and their eyes met. But he didn't care as he looked into her future...
It was still the same.
'This will be difficult.'
"Sir Hanon," Teren spoke, startling Hanon a bit, "Why are you sticking your nose to this?"
"Teren,"
Hanon hesitated but firmed himself.
"Although I came here for reconnaissance at first, I seriously fell in love with teaching and with the students here."
He said the heaviest words he can take from his heart.
"If I can do anything to stop this... I will... do it..."
Seeing Hanon's sincere expression, Teren slightly tilted his head and a strange smile was conjured on his face.

I want to eventually make it a webtoon comic, but the story still needs to be written and the art still needs be improved. So I'll keep writing for now, but expect the final result to be much better than the story now. Until then, I hope we can have a great time together with this writing experiment. Thanks!
