《Psycho X Psychic 》Chapter 63: Well, I Am

"Alright, come in now. I will be monitoring you."
Teacher Jerad first noticed the strange atmosphere. With a box full of test papers in his hands, he raised an eyebrow.
"Mike, can you help me bring these boxes inside?"
"Sure..." Mike silently replied.
It was almost time for the first period of examination so the students have already hidden their notes in their lockers and went inside the room.
"What's going on here?" Teacher Jerad leaned in and whispered to Mike.
"Umm... haha..." but Mike was no snitch so he stayed silent.
Teacher Jerad didn't pursue it anymore.
Once everyone was seated, he handed out the test papers while he explained the consequences of cheating and types of cheating like looking at their seatmate, etc.
"You have forty minutes. Begin, you can turn your papers now."
At the same time Teacher Jerad announced, a series of flipping papers could be heard. Thoughts flooded the classroom but Iesa was prepared and only focused only a few people that she knew had the highest grades and the best to get the answers from.
Lina, the class president. However, Iesa doesn't want to hear her harsh and dirty thoughts so Iesa placed her on the last resort if others don't know the answer.
Mira, one of Catherine's girlfriends. She's good at math but the first subject they were answering right now is English so she placed her next to Lina.
Kent, the actual smart guy. However, great at Arts so he was placed next to Mira in Iesa's list.
Clara, the girl with glasses, was smart at History which was, in Iesa's opinion, weird.
Messe, the number one guy in class due to his hard work. He's the best to hear thoughts from so he was placed on top of the list.

Finally, Teren...
'Wait, why am I thinking about him?' Iesa frowned.
"Iesa, please don't look at Teren. That's the first warning."
Teacher Jerad warned with a stern voice. He remained impartial. Even if Iesa is an honor and an idol student, he apprehended her. But he didn't think that his words caught everyone's attention.
They looked at Iesa with a surprised expression.
'She's looking at him?'
'Does she have a crush on Teren? No way!'
'That's impossible for Iesa Hun! But why did she lean on him earlier? Are they together!?'
"... eh..." Iesa almost squirmed from embarrassment.
'Really? I'm looking at him? That's slander! I tell you, slander!'
Teren ducked his face from embarrassment as well. From the kiss yesterday, which only he remembers, how would Teren not think that Iesa likes him? Of course, it was clear as day to him!
'Ughh... does she like me that much? Focus, Iesa, or your grades will fall!'
As if Iesa heard him, she nodded and listened to others who have started to fill up their test.
She studied too so if she was skeptical by what she heard, she would listen to another thought. Majority wins...
Midway, concentration was on everyone's faces until it was break time.
Iesa evaded Teren like a plague, thinking about what she did earlier. Thanks to Nick, no one approached Teren which he knew was super convenient, knowing that their malice increased.
During break time, students also meet up to form groups and study together. Obviously, words about Iesa's actions spread out.
"Noo!!"
Many boys fell onto their knees.
After that, the examination continued. On the first day of the monthly examination, they have half the school day off. When it was the last period of the exam came for the first day, many students raced to finish to get out quickly. They either go home to relax and make the most of the rest of the day or they hang out with their friends.

Thus, only those who are serious remained - the serious like the students Iesa was following her thoughts on.
Nick got out first since he just wants to finish as soon as possible. Seeing him wait for Teren, the others who want to harass said person was disappointed.
So they could only leave as well as the others.
Inside the room, Mira finished it as quickly as possible since her friends were waiting outside. Lina was the same and passed the paper. Five people remained in the room, excluding Teacher Jerad.
Clara went out then Kent. When Messe finished, Iesa did also. She smiled, thinking that she was aced the tests.
'I studied too... I wonder why. I know that I studied with someone but who was it?' her smile twitched, 'Is she a friend? Why did I forget? Will she get angry that I forgot about her?'
Iesa didn't think that it was a boy since she was sure that she studied at her apartment. However, she was sure that she wouldn't invite boys into her apartment.
That left Teren inside.
Iesa glanced and saw him. So when she exited the room, she waited while thinking that she should just go home.
Right after that, Teren got out, looking exhausted. He saw Nick first before Iesa who was standing on one side.
Steeling himself to ignore her, he walked past Iesa. He didn't stop since Nick just followed him silently.
'Irritating...' Teren thought. His mood was getting heavier. He stopped and turned to Nick with a menacing look.
"..." Nick froze in fear before he heard.
"Don't follow me for now."
Teren then walked away, leaving Nick behind while murmuring.
"We should be at her apartment for half a day to umm... study..."
"Damn it, why does it have to be her...?"
"Now, I can't talk to her or her memories may return...!"
After purposely walking into an unpopulated area, Teren stopped and said.
"Get out, let me relieve some stress."
There was silence at first before a nerve popped out of Teren's forehead.
"Get out, now...!"
"Wait, Devil!" a man in a casual suit appeared from above. This suit has a hood behind it. He wore sunglasses and a tattoo of a dragon was on the back of his hand, "We are not here to figh- ack!"
Four more others then landed on the ground as if they jumped off from a high place. They readied their guns, pointing at Teren who just punched the first man who appeared.
"Don't shoot, lower your guns!" the man ordered which the others acted. Even though he was punched, he was not angry. He looked at Teren, who was already far from him, with fear and introduced himself with pride even though his lower lip bled.
"I am Eron from one of the Five Supreme Houses, the Drago House! We are not here to fight but to recruit you, Sir Devil Himsel- Ack!"
With a flash again, Teren appeared in front of him and punched.
"Well, I am." he cracked his fingers as he looked down on Eron, "If you defeat me, I'll join your stupid house."
