《Loki’s Successor System 》Chapter 60: Beat down

Nyx grabbed Jin by his clothing and pulled him closer to his face. "You are nothing. A weak being who amounts to nothing else. I'd suggest you relinquish the system or—"
Suddenly, Jin slashed his dagger and cut Nyx to a check. Jin watched as Nyx licked the blood then ran down his face, and slowly turned his head to look at him again.
Slowly, Nyx started to heal. His cut closed as if it wasn't there before, leaving only trails of blood behind. "That was very disrespectful of you, Jin."
He raised Jin in the air with one hand; and slammed him into the rooftop. Jin's back collided with the floor, and he curled up from the pain.
[HP: 20/30]
He gasped. He started getting up. He rose to his knees as Nyx slowly ambled up to him. Nyx kicked him down to his back again.
Nyx then placed his foot upon his chest. "Relinquish the system…"
Jin's mask disappeared. "Go fuck yourself!"
Nyx furrowed his brows, and kicked Jin to his face. Jin's body went sliding on the floor. Then it stopped.
[HP: 17/30]
Jin quickly rose to his feet again, and steadied. Suddenly, Nyx dashed toward him and punched him in the face again. Then another. Another again. He was incredibly fast.
Another fist bolted toward Jin. He ducked. As the fist thrust overhead; Jin dashed lowly and toward Nyx. He slashed his dagger, cutting Nyx to his abdomen. Then, he did it again in the opposite direction.
Nyx's health still hadn't appeared on his screen.
Nyx scowled. He raised his arm; and what seemed like a shockwave shot out of it. Jin was knocked into the air. His body went flying off the huge building.
His mask came on. He was spinning in the air, uncontrollably. His body flipped. Then, he flickered his dagger; and thrust it into the blueish glass of the building.

As he fell; the dagger shredded down the glass with him. Glass shattered relentlessly, resounding clangs. Falling, a trail of rugged damage to the building was left behind. Finally, his body halted. He felt a sudden shock as momentum slowed to stillness.
He then held the dagger with both his hands in that he feared falling. He looked over his shoulders only to see that he was over five hundred feet from the ground.
He could see a busy city down below. It was no survival for him should he fall from this height. He quickly looked ahead again.
Then, he heaved, and looked up from where he fell. There—walked Nyx—down the glass and toward him. He strides down the glass callously as if he was walking on an ordinary surface!
He glared at Jin. "Are you gonna relinquish yet?"
Jin snapped. "No, I said fuck you! You m—"
Suddenly Nyx shot black energy from his palm. The small quantity of energy manifested; growing large as it zoomed down the building and toward Jin.
It warped as it traveled downward, and it became akin to a black hole. As the portal passed through Jin, he found himself in the air.
He squirmed in the air, directly above the rooftop of the same building. It was a lethal height to fall from. But he had an idea what he'd do to survive.
Suddenly, Nyx appeared in the air above him and punched him to the face. Yet another mild shockwave was created by the blow.
Jin's neck snapped, almost broke. He went pitching down toward the rooftop where the others were as opposed to falling.
As he reached the ground, he collided with it and then burst through the concrete entirely such that he was falling into the building.
He fell down to the ground of the highest floor, flat on his back. He writhed in agony. He gasped. His eyes bulged.

[HP: 8/30]
He could not move. He couldn't. He couldn't get up. His body began to tremble in the searing pain. Then, he brought up a volume of his own blood in his mouth. His filled mouth bloated.
His mask vanished. He gagged, and then finally it gushed out from the spaces of the lips he parted. The blood splashed all over his clothes.
A portal then manifested in front of him. It disappeared as Nyx stepped out of it with the most callous gait.
He paused. "Agony, distress. They're the most beautiful things, aren't they?" he licked his lips.
He dashed toward Jin, and leaned down to in turn look him in the face. Nyx's face halted when it was an inch or two away from Jin's.
He smirked. "You clearly can't fight anymore. Relinquish the system now and I'll spare you…"
Jin coughed. "F-fu…fuck … you…"
Nyx grabbed him by his face, and lifted up off the ground such that his feet were dangling in the air. Nyx began squeezing Jin's face with profound might.
Jin's teeth sunk into his tongue. He winced in agony. Nyx then hurled him body into a wall.
Jin's body collided with the wall, causing multiple cracks resembling cobwebs. His body slid down the wall; blood trailing down the wall from behind his head.
Leaning against the wall, he dropped to his behind.
[HP: 5/30]
Nyx suddenly darted toward him and finished breaking his body through the wall.
Jin was knocked inside of another room. An office. Flat on his back.
[HP: 2/30]
Flint burst the wall, and ambled up to Jin. His shoulders were squared. His chin was up. His eyes were completely black. An ominous aura emanated from his body.
He towered over Jin. "Have you finally made up your mind, Jin, or do you prefer quietus?"
Jin with his eyes half-closed coughed again. "Fuck you…" he whispered in a husky tone.
Nyx cursed. His blood turned to hot steam. He gritted his teeth, and scowled at Jin in resentment. He deliberately walked up to Jin.
He grabbed him by his face again, raising him off his back. Then he raised his other arm and carried it to the level of his head.
His brows furrowed. "So long … human!"
He thrust his fist toward Jin …
When suddenly he stopped midway. His eyes widened. His heart throbbed. He simply froze there.
Then, he began to hear a clattering resounding throughout the room from behind him. Clatter, clatter. The sound of heavy shoe soles smacking against the tiles.
Deliberate yet impactful.
The sound reverberated sonorously. Clatter, clatter. Then it came to a sudden halt. Silence.
Nyx raised his arm again, and quickly thrust it toward Jin's face only to hit a strange object. His fist entered a palm, and was stopped by it.
The hand's fingers squeezed his balled fist tightly. He slowly dragged his eyes along and up the hand. Reaching a forearm, then an upper arm. Then finally, he met a face.
The figure smirked maliciously with a cigarette at the corner of his lips. "Hey, Nyx … you missed me?"
