《Xianxia: My Junior Sisters Are Freaks!》Chapter 189: Zhuang Changhe on the Edge of a Spear

"Master, we can't Play Like This!"
Zhuang Changhe's heart thumped when he saw this, and he hurriedly retreated dozens of feet.
He was like a frightened rabbit.
This comical scene made the female disciples smile involuntarily.
They really didn't expect that Zhuang Changhe, the sect master of the mysterious Sky Sword sect, would have such a comical performance.
He usually looked serious, but now, he was ruined by Old Monster Jian.
"Aiya, you bastard, you still dare to hide, right?"
Seeing Zhuang Changhe pull away. Old Monster Jian was about to catch up with him with his sword.
At this time, Zhuang Changhe didn't dare to stay any longer.
"Master, your disciple still has something to do, so I won't stay any longer. Next time, I'll definitely bring you a few jars of good wine..."
As soon as he finished speaking, he disappeared into the night sky.
Seeing that Zhuang Changhe had gone far away, old monster sword kept his long sword while swearing.
"At least this kid runs fast. If he's a step slower, I'll see how this old man will deal with him!"
"Eh? ! Why are you guys looking at me like that? Do you think that this old man was very impressive just now?"
Old monster sword smoothed his hair in a good mood, revealing a mouthful of big yellow teeth. His appearance had nothing to do with handsomeness, but there was a bit of a ruffian air to it.
Shen yaoling, who was at the side, pouted and muttered, "Ling 'er can't tell how handsome master is, because no matter how handsome he is, he can't be as handsome as senior brother Su Xing!"
Everyone:"..."
The cultivation of everyone present wasn't low, so they naturally heard this girl's muttering.
The few girls burst into laughter again.
"This guy... HMPH! This old man has always only compared himself."
Hearing Shen Yaoling's innocent words, old monster sword was about to explain a little when he suddenly saw the beautiful young man leisurely sipping tea at the side. He immediately choked on the words at the corner of his mouth.

Because other things aside, Su Xing's appearance was indeed stunning.
Sweeping his gaze across the Sunset Peak, which one of them wasn't talented in terms of appearance? Old Monster Sword suddenly felt that he might be a little unsociable.
He touched his rough cheeks and seemed to be deep in thought.
At this moment, a cold voice sounded.
Although the voice wasn't loud, it was very clear amidst the laughter of the women, causing one to easily feel a chill.
"Smelly old man, what did you say about me just now?"
Bai Xueling's face was as cold as ice as she slowly walked out from the side.
She walked towards old monster sword who had already arrived in front of the pavilion. Wherever she passed by, a thin layer of frost appeared on the ground.
"Little Ling 'er, what are you doing? Don't tell me you want to follow that Brat Zhuang Changhe and Bully your master and destroy your ancestors?"
"Humph! The next time you speak without thinking, please leave the Sunset Peak!"
Old Monster Sword rolled his eyes and then put on a smiling face.
"Hehe! Little Ling 'er, are you angry? I was just joking with that rebellious disciple of Zhuang Changhe!"
"All of you listen up. What I said just now was just a joke..."
Old Monster Sword raised his voice in all seriousness and nodded with a smile.
"Zhuang Changhe, oh, that's your sect master. He has never leaned against your master's window before. Don't think wrongly!"
Oh! So the person who said that the sect master was leaning against the window was the beautiful master in front of them!
Everyone had a look of understanding.
Bai xueling's expression became even darker when she heard that.
Because she realized that after old monster sword explained, the way the female disciples looked at her seemed to have changed again.
It was better not to explain!
"Little Ling 'ER, come and have some tea. Not only is your disciple's cultivation extraordinary, but his tea-making skills are also top-notch."
Old Monster Sword walked into the pavilion, picked up the stone table, and drank the tea made by the flower girl in one gulp.

He clicked his tongue, making people feel that he was not drinking tea, but more like drinking wine.
Thinking that she still had business to confirm, Bai Xueling put away her cold expression.
Although Su Xing had been in the pavilion the whole time, he had heard their words. When he saw people walking into the pavilion one after another, he would offer the teacups to them.
"Yan 'er, take your junior sisters back to rest. Your master-in-law and I have something to discuss with your eldest senior brother."
"Master, but Ling 'ER doesn't need to rest now. Can Ling 'er stay for tea?"
Bai xueling shook her head and said slowly.
"Since you're so energetic, go to the back mountain to cultivate. Yan 'er, take them down!"
It was not that Bai Xueling did not trust them, but the matter they were going to talk about was of great importance, so the fewer people who knew about it, the better.
This should be one of the reasons why old monster sword took the opportunity to tease Zhuang Changhe away. Old Monster sword was even more cunning when it came to teasing Zhuang Changhe. The reason why he teased Zhuang Changhe so much was not simply because of his interest.
"Junior Sisters, master must have made arrangements for us. Let's go to the back of the mountain to cultivate together!"
"The night sky is pretty good tonight. It's a good time to cultivate!"
"Senior sister Yan 'er, I happen to have something to ask you about cultivation. Please, Senior Sisters."
Li Yiyi agreed and slowly rushed to the back of the mountain with the other girls.
After a short while, they disappeared without a trace.
Seeing the special arrangement made by the beautiful master, Su Xing knew something must have happened again.
After so many years on Sunset Peak, this was the first time he saw such a complicated expression on Bai Xueling's face. Even old monster sword, who had been drinking tea by the side, seemed to have something on his mind.
"Master, senior, What's the matter?"
"Do you want to tell me or should I?"
Old Monster Sword put down the Teacup in his hand and asked Bai Xueling.
"I'll tell you. I'm afraid that if you don't explain clearly, it'll be troublesome."
This sentence immediately made old monster sword choke and unable to speak.
It seemed that although Bai Xueling didn't say it, old monster sword's previous actions had indeed made her a little unhappy!
"Hehe! Little Ling 'ER is right. It wouldn't be good if this old man's stupid mouth messed up. It's better for you to explain yourself!"
What was going on today?
This master and disciple pair was singing in unison. Why did it feel like they were singing a double act.
Su Xing didn't say much. He was still slowly adding some hot water into the Teacup.
He shook the Teacup, allowing the tea leaves to fully come into contact with the hot water in the teapot.
The unique cold fragrance of the tea leaves filled the air, causing one's spirit to tremble upon smelling it.
After drinking a few cups in a row, old monster sword also felt something strange.
He only felt a wave of refreshing spiritual energy emerge from his stomach, which then transformed into waves of warm current that surged towards his limbs and bones. Unknowingly, the spiritual energy in his body actually grew a little stronger.
"Oh? This tea?"
Then, he turned his gaze towards Su Xing. Su Xing smiled faintly and poured another cup for him.
Bai Xueling didn't take a sip of the tea. She was silent for a while, then she looked at Su Xing.
"Little Xing Xing, do you remember when I took you in as my disciple?"
"Ten years ago. To be exact, it was 3,873 days!"
HMM? Is this kid's memory that good?
Old Monster Sword looked at the tea in his hand meaningfully. When he heard Su Xing's words, he couldn't help but feel a little surprised.
At this moment, Snow White sighed.
"It's been 3,873 days. Has It been that long?"

BODY&SHADOW
AN ILLUSTRATED NOVEL • UPDATES TUESDAY AND FRIDAY In a time before living memory, the King Dragon of the Void watched the world and realized there was a crack. He realized that humanity was destroying the rock upon which they lived; they leaked life’s code into the churning chaos. At first the change was imperceptible: nanites overtook microorganisms, bacteria, viruses, amoebas. Insects became increasingly inorganic; birds and lizards followed soon after. Even humans were infected by their own advances, cell by cell, till there was not a person left on earth who wasn’t at least part synthetic, the product of a prior generation’s carelessness. The world’s population was ravaged by mechanical viruses with no vaccines; they were mercilessly overtaken by bacteria that knew no death. Soon, most of the planet was empty and only a handful remained who remembered the hedonist realm they came from; only a few were left who remembered what the world looked like when their buildings touched the sky. The King Dragon of the Void watched the rock turn. He watched humans cower as the Old World fell down around them; watched their great monuments crumble into dusty ruins; watched their codes become precious, ancient gem memories forged under the crushing pressure of so many fallen stones. The world has spun many times around the sun since chaos swallowed man whole. It is a simpler time than the one that died out, but the people now are not immune to the folly of the people before. There is old code everywhere: in the water, in the air, in the trees. The heart of man has been replaced by power cores, many of which are hard-coded with preternatural abilities—when they die, an esoteric mountain sect collects their cores and stores them in their hollow mountain home to preserve the sanctity and dignity of human death. They’ve learned to harness artifacts of the old world, gemstones full of codes their nanite infused bodies can parse as spells imbuing their users with great power; they inlay them into their bodies, into their skins, connected to their cores by copper conduit and gold tracers; they dress themselves in tattoos to advertise their prowess; they battle for relics in arenas, fight for them in the open world wherever they are found. The King Dragon of the Void watches the rock turn and wonders: when will this hunger finally make the rock stop spinning? WELCOME TO FANXING CITY … Twenty-five years ago, Fanxing City and the surrounding lands were commanded by the mad King Zao Beiguan. For many years, the King hoarded wealth, artifacts, food; he demanded tribute from a people already taxed to the edges of their existence and expected they be happy with their circumstances. Noncompliance was often punished harshly, bodies displayed proudly on Fanxing’s streets as a warning, from the city gates to the Zao palace’s golden doors. The youths of several prominent clans came together to overthrow the tyrant and made names for themselves as legendary heroes across the land: Tian, Ren, Feng, Gui, Ma, and Zhenxi. Even wanderers from the Luanshi sect descended from Yunji mountain to aid the rebellion. When the dust settled after three years, Tian Yunyong ascended the throne of Fanxing and swore to honour his slain father’s memory, and has maintained Fanxing’s peace with generosity and mercy where fear and cruelty once reigned.

Contact Through Voided Lenses
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Edit: Fixed some inaccuracies in the synopsis. The void is a vast unexplored ocean filled with various wonders and dangers all waiting to be explored by those brave enough to travel and record. Many souls do find themselves brave enough to face the vast distances, the various risks to personal safety and do the hundreds of task required on a craft. However, at times the void itself can be boring with absolutely nothing to do but as time pass and more and better technology is reached, things got better. The various trips got faster, communications became faster than light and you can be home to see your loved ones after only months now. Through the various planets whether rocky or gaseous, the various stars whether small or giant, the various systems both eerily similar or completely alien. As part of an expeditionary scientific exploratory survey craft, one could see that the void offers no reprieve from all the discoveries and wonders. At times, it can feel empty and silent where no soul can hear you scream and at others it can be overwhelming with sudden phenomenon that can overwhelm the brightest of minds. The void itself is a truly fascinating ocean where one must chart the various islands or drown in its deadly tidal waves. But the question still remained no matter how you try to hide it in of itself… is there truly other intelligent life out there? Are we alone in this ocean? Those very questions still haunt the minds of those on the crafts themselves as they brace for every jump ready for the unknown and the known. Many would try to explain that yes there is other intelligent life out there whilst other still say no after 2 centuries of continuous flight out of the home system. Still, those are questions that bury deep in the minds of the crew and those at home as the voidcraft jumps to a system with a single yellow star orbited by 8 other planets with one crowning blue jewel being the 3rd closest with its 5 oceans and 7 continents, a planet called Dirt which is inhabited by a primitive species called Humanity. Hello, author here and this is my newest dive into writing particularly for the Writathon currently in progress being my first one. I hope you give me story a try but in case you still want more information on what you’re getting into, below are some pointers about the story itself. First Contact: CTVL is a story about a first contact scenario between an advanced alien civilization and a slightly more advanced modern day humanity on their planet called Dirt. Characters: The story will take place mainly on the perspective of the alien visitors themselves though there will be human POV characters who will show how the rest of humanity react through media and forums. Action: It won’t be an actual alien invasion but you have to see for yourself how well first contact went. Sci-Fi: I will be very forward here, I WILL bend the rules of physics in order to add in parts of the plot and there WILL be parts that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Theme: It will be a brooding story talking about the futility of pe… Just kidding, it’s mostly wholesome stuff to be honest here. Alien: The aliens themselves will… actually why should I tell you, you have to go and read it to find out what the aliens are though I will draw a few things here and there to aid in the process. Extra tidbit: If you are a grammar nazi or someone who really wants a realistic scifi story... this story is probably not for you at all. Anyways, that’s pretty much all I can say before I spoil something major of the plot itself, the story is slice of life so make sure that type of story is what you like because I am terrible with anything else as I found out, anyways, have a good time everyone and good luck to the other Writathon participants.
