《Supreme Grandpa 》Chapter 82: The Angry Yang Haodong

A few hours later, Yang Haodong finished writing his chapters and was preparing to upload the new chapters on the Runningnovel website.
However, after he opened the "Author's Area" page, he found that Battle Through the Paradise had disappeared.
Feeling that it might be because of a bug, Yang Haodong tried to refresh the page several times, but the result was still the same.
Yang Haodong also tried to search for his book in the Reader's Area, but after typing "Battle Through the Paradise" and pressed the search button, only "Sorry, no result is found" appeared.
…
Ten minutes later, after trying every method available, the result was still the same.
"My book disappeared? Or did someone from Runningnovel delete it?" Yang Haodong whispered with a very ugly expression.
Just because he didn't want to sign a contract with them, they deleted his book?
Yang Haodong took exhaled a foul breath and picked up his phone to dial the customer service number of Runningnovel company.
"Hello, welcome to customer service of Runningnovel. What can I help you with?" A sweet female voice resounded.
"Hi, I am the author of Battle Through the Paradise. Why did my book disappear suddenly?" Yang Haodong put on a calm expression and asked normally.
"Please wait a moment, sir. I will help you check the problem."
A few seconds later, the sweet voice sounded again, "Apologies, sir. It seems like there has never been a book called Battle Through the Paradise on our website."
Yang Haodong's calm expression turned black in an instant, "Are you sure about that? Don't tell me that you don't know my book too! Runningnovel? What a good Runningnovel!"
Then, without waiting for the other party to reply, Yang Haodong ended the call directly. He knew that she must have been ordered from the management team of that company, so continuing to talk wouldn't make any sense at all.
Yang Haodong clenched his fist, his muscles bulged, and his veins swelled.
A few minutes later, he calmed down and made another call.
"Oh, the sun must rise from the north for brother Haodong to call me!" A surprised voice sounded from the other side of the phone.
"Xiu Mo, do you know Battle Through the Paradise?" Yang Haodong skipped the gibberish and dived into the subject directly.
Xiu Mo didn't seem to mind Yang Haodong's straightforwardness as he said, "Battle Through the Paradise? Hehe, of course I know it. As the president of the National Writers Association, how can I not know such a precious masterpiece? But why do you ask this?"

Yang Haodong took a deep breath and revealed, "I am the author of that book."
"Ah!" Xiu Mo let out a sound of exclamation and said, "You're that book's author? Our mighty military governor Yang Haodong of Tong City can actually write such a good novel?"
"What? You're looking down on me?" Yang Haodong rolled his eyes unhappily.
"By the way, what are you telling me this for?" Xiu Mo asked curiously. Since Yang Haodong decided to call him and tell him this secret out of nowhere, there must be more to it.
"It's nothing much, but Battle Through the Paradise suddenly disappeared from that website. I figured that it might have something to do with the upper management team of that company. I don't know what to do so I called you."
"Huh? You call this 'nothing much'?" Xiu Mo exclaimed again. "This is a big matter! As a diehard fan of your novel and you, this matter is extremely big! Don't worry, I will help you solve it. I will give you good news soon."
Yang Haodong was taken aback, he didn't expect that this guy was his fan. But he replied, "Good, then I will wait for good news."
After hanging up the phone, Yang Haodong leaned on his chair.
Actually, Yang Haodong could find the number of the president of Runningnovel by himself and called the other party directly. But he didn't want to reveal his identity to them so he chose to call Xiu Mo instead.
That guy Xiu Mo was from the Xiu Family in Holy Martial Capital City. A few decades ago, when Yang Haodong went to battle in the abyss, he rescued a weak-looking guy with glasses from the claws of a monster. Later, Yang Haodong and that guy became good friends.
And that guy was of course Xiu Mo, the second young master of the prominent Xiu Family.
The power of the Xiu Family was really not small, however, since Xiu Mo didn't have much accomplishment in martial arts, the position of the head of the family fell into the hand of his big brother.
Fortunately, Xiu Mo, this naughty and fanatical guy, was not interested in that position since young and he and his brother had a very good relationship with each other, therefore, Xiu Mo's power was only second to his big brother in his family.

But even with such great power, Xiu Mo still didn't care. The only things he cared about were novels and monsters.
Not long after, Yang Haodong's phone rang and it woke him up from his thoughts. Picking up the phone, it was Xiu Mo.
"Brother Haodong, I found out why your book disappeared. This actually has something to do with my National Writers Association. It turns out that a famous author called Liu Fei bribed my bastard secretary and my bastard secretary ordered the Runningnovel company to mess with your book… For this, I apologize to you," Xiu Mo said quickly and apologized Yang Haodong quietly.
"Well, don't worry about it, it's not your fault," Yang Haodong chuckled and said.
"Also, I have already punished my bastard secretary, Yi Renhei. He's not my secretary anymore. Right, I also deleted that Liu Fei guy's name from my association and slapped him down from the position of Martial City's Writers Association's chairman. That Liu Fei guy actually scolded you a lot on social media. Battle Through the Paradise should reappear now. One more thing, as compensation, I want to give you the Abyssal Diamond Bamboo."
"Abyssal Diamond Bamboo? This is not good, right? You don't have to do this at all," Yang Haodong smiled and praised this guy for being such a righteous and understand person secretly in his heart. But if Xiu Mo really gave him that treasure, Xiu Mo would be the best person in Yang Haodong's heart.
"No, I have to give it to you. This thing wasn't bought with my money either, it is a bribe given to Yi Renhei by Liu Fei," Xiu Mo said firmly and left no room for rejection.
Yang Haodong could only laugh helplessly and accept the 'compensation' reluctantly, "Fine, just send it to my address."
"Oh, I almost forgot. There's one more thing. That Liu Fei guy has a very good relationship with the Wu Family in Martial City. I think it has something to do with the Wu Family. If you need my help, just call me. If I can't help you, I will ask my big brother to help you."
"All right, thank you this time."
"Yeah, if I have the opportunity, I will go to Tong City and ask for your autograph. See you."
After the call was hung up, Yang Haodong closed his eyes and muttered, "Wu Family? I see. It turned out to be that dog family. Liu Fei? The author of Infinity Mountain of Chaotic Snow? I didn't expect an author like him to be such a narrow-minded person."
Now, that Liu Fei and the bastard secretary of Xiu Mo had received their punishment. After they had offended Xiu Mo, their fat would end.
One more thing, according to what Xiu Mo had told him earlier, Liu Fei scolded him a lot on social media?
Yang Haodong was too busy writing novels and dealing with some affairs related to his work these days, so he had no time to pay attention to things on social media.
Taking out his phone, Yang Haodong opened UU and searched for Liu Fei.
As Xiu Mo said, this damnable guy really scolded him a lot. But what made him angry was that he didn't just scold him alone, he also scolded his father, Yang Song, at that.
It was fine if he scolded him alone, Yang Haodong would let the matter here. But he actually touched his inverse scale, then just be prepared to receive the real punishment.
Since young, Yang Haodong knew that although his father was quite shameless and cunning, he knew that in the entire family, his father actually suffered the most. He had to run here and there, do this and that, to raise him and his younger brothers.
Other people could scold him however they wished to, but if they dared to even just insult his father's hair, then he would never forgive those offenders.
That Liu Fei scolded his father for being an ignorant old man who knew nothing about novels? This must be the greatest joke he had ever heard in so many years.
That Liu Fei cursed his father to die soon? This must be the evilest curse in Yang Haodong's ears.
Good, Yang Haodong had decided. He would find that guy and teach him a profound lesson. He didn't care even if he had to commit a crime.

A Goblin's Blade (dropped)
He looked down the path, which was littered with many things. Things he found in abundance were such of violence, desire and gore while things he found in scarcity were such of love, friendship and glory. At the start of the path was a naive, green goblin while at the end of it... Well at the end of it stood him: the godslayer, the monster from the forest, the walking death... He had many names but none so that perfectly captured his image as well as the Mad King. Authors note: Edit: Trying to release a chapter per day, around 2-2.5k words each. An evolution story about a goblin. This is under lit-rpg but I'm focusing more on the plot/characters instead of the usual features of such stories such as the blue tables that take ages to make or the stat screens. In essence it's closer to high fantasy than lit-rpg. Much appreciated if you read the Prologue to see whether you like it or not. Cover image is "Evolution" taken from art done by WhoAmI01

Condemned
“The human body is a fragile thing. But the soul... The soul is malleable. Easily tainted. All it takes is one drop of blood to dye it all red.” Long ago, in a time remembered only by a few, the seven lords of Syvernia, led by the Great Hero Ludwig, ended the Great Calamity that plagued humanity for as long as time itself. It was the dawn of a new age of man. . . until the thirst for more poisoned the new lords. Slowly, the thread that held humanity together loosened and a thick haze consumed the lands between. Mysterious vanishings, supernatural forces, and silence warns of a looming threat inside the coat of fog. Though the struggle of the realms did not interest Leor, for he was condemned as a Purblight, until he took a seemingly simple job: escort Alden to Lightendale and collect the handsome reward, a reward that would let him live the rest of his life with ease. But it’s never that simple, especially for someone who denounced the Gods. All his life, death followed Leor everywhere he went, cutting down his friends and family. When his first love died at the hands of an agent of light, he was prepared to throw everything away until a mysterious voice promised him a chance for retribution and a chance to bring her back by completing the seven trials. Thrown into the realm's struggle against the approaching haze and themselves, will Leor, a Purblight and an acquaintance of tragedy, use the very power he disdains to accomplish his goals? This is the rewrite of my novel: Condemned; I changed it to past tense and added/ took out some ideas from the original. This is essentially the first draft since I'm writing as I go. Also, there might be or might not be Gore, Sexual, or Traumatizing content. I only put it there for a disclaimer in case I want to add it. I have no set release schedule yet, but I'll try to post once every 2 week. Thanks for your patience.

Unlimited Phantasm
DEATH While there is a difference as to when a person or object will "end," it is certain that they will all arrive at that point because death is not something that "arrives," but rather is something already contained within an object at its creation and certainly bound to happen as part of the principle of causality.

The Supernormal
In a world where fantasy has become everyday, one man stands against absurdity. The local Tower stomps through the streets. Any hedge could contain a witch. Walls regularly crumble, though none more often than the fourth. In the magical city of Blackpool, all ridiculousness is possible, and it takes everything for Jack Of All Trades to survive. Badly, at that. Perpetually late with his rent, he'll take up arms for any paying customer in order to fulfill his quest. His obstacles include polka-loving ghosts, card-game playing vampires, and the most vicious monsters of all: copyright lawyers. When he's joined by an arrogant magus and an insecure vampire, his life gets even more complicated, but no matter what kind of infuriating choose-your-own-adventure he finds himself on, one constant remains—his rent is due at the end of the month. On second thoughts, maybe he should stay in bed. The Supernormal isn't your average web-novel. It's an urban fantasy parody that saunters through a world full of the absurd, delighting in poking fun at popular media, widely-accepted ideas, and often itself. Story arcs only loosely connect through the characters, who are themselves slowly fleshed out as the story continues. Think of Discworld meets The Dresden Files meets Gintama. This novel won't be for everyone, but if it is for you, you're in for a hell of a ride.
