"Oh, hi," Selina greeted back nonchalantly before turning to looked at Elmont in front of her and asking, "Since you're here, let's have a fight!"

"I..." Elmont helplessly turned to look at Leo and the others. 

Noticing that Elmont needed help, Leo could only shake his head before deciding to step in, "Selina, right?" 

Selina raises one of her brows as she turned to look at Leo. 

Leo continued, "We have something important to talk about here with Brother Elmont, so can I kindly ask for you to leave us. It's something really important,"

"No!" Selina didn't hesitate to decline. She then stepped forward in front of Leo as she pointed her finger to his chest before asking, "Who do you think you are?"

Whooooosh! Whooooosh! Whooooosh!

Elvis, Iasiah, and Nightingale immediately released their Magic Power after seeing Selina disrespecting Leo. 

Although they were attracted by Selina's beauty just now and had even expressed their interest in her, they are still aware that no one could just simply disrespect Leo. After all, he's the Guild Leader of the Mischievous Lion Guild. Seeing someone disrespecting him would be the same as disrespecting every member of the Mischievous Lion Guild. As one of the Executives of the Mischievous Lion Guild, they definitely would not allow just any random people to do that, even if they are as beautiful as Selina. 

Selina quickly took a step back after bearing the brunt of three powerful bursts of Magic Power from Elvis, Iasiah, and Nightingale who were all standing behind Leo. Her face soon turned complicated as she realized how dire her current situation is. She wasn't stupid, with her mere 1 Star-level cultivation, there is absolutely no hope for her to beat these three. In the next moment, she quickly hid behind Elmont, hoping for him to stop these three for her.

Elmont can't help shaking his head and heaving a heavy sigh before saying, "Go and apologize to Brother Leo,"

Without any hesitation, Selina immediately bowed her head in ninety degrees as she exclaimed, "I'm sorry, Brother Leo!"

Elvis, Iasiah, and Nightingale immediately pulled back their Magic Power after seeing Selina apologized. 

"Anyways, what are you doing here in my training ground? Shouldn't you supposedly be training for the Emerald Elven Battle Competition with the team?" Elmont asked. 

"I was... but they are really not fit to be my training partner! I only need to use a few of my magic spells and they are all instantly down. It is like I'm fighting against a bunch of kids. Seriously, it's impossible for me to learn anything from them!" Selina ranted. She then begged, "Please, Captain Elmont, let me train with you instead!" 

Elmont shook his head as he said, "I understand how you feel, but I respectfully decline. How many times do I need to tell you this Selina; the Emerald Elven Battle Competition is not a one-man show. The reason why I'm letting you train with the team is because I want you to get close to them and built synergy with each other. If you continue to focus on yourself only, then... you might as well just leave the team!"

"You..." Selina pointed at Elmont in disbelief. She really didn't expect him to ask her to leave the team. It was the two of them that had created this team right from the very beginning. Yet..., "Fine! Since that's what you want, then I'll leave!"

"No, that wasn't what I want. You misunderstood, Selina!" Elmont quickly wanted to stop Selina from leaving. But before he could chase after her, he was stopped by Leo. 

"Give her some time to calm down her mind. Talking to her now would just make things, even more, worse," Leo advised. 

If Brother Elmont really continued talking with Selina's current state of mind right now, then it would just become an argument. And an argument would just make the situation even more worst. 

Just now, Selina was obviously just hurt with Brother Elmont unexpectedly asking her to leave their team. It is very easy to guess that this is her first time hearing him telling her something as hurtful as that, thus she didn't know how to react and could only choose to leave.

"I just wanted her to leave this place so that we can have a..." 

"It's alright," Leo tapped Brother Elmont's shoulder to interrupt him from blaming himself. With a smile on his face, he suggested, "Once we are done with our investigation to that brown-haired butler, we would help you reconcile with Selina, okay?"

"Okay..." Elmont nodded his head in agreement.

"Did I just saw a lover's quarrel?" Elvis said jokingly. 

"We are not lovers-" Elmont quickly wanted to explain, but Elvis's hands interrupted him. 

Elvis said, "I know, I know. I'm just trying to lighten your mood. Anyways, since that troublesome woman is gone now, then let's begin with our investigation," 

Hearing Elvis' words, everyone immediately put the problem related to Selina to the back of their minds as they turned their focus to the brown-haired butler. 

After confirming that the surrounding is clear, Elmont began talking, "That brown-haired butler's name is Willis. He has been a butler of the Evergreen royal family from the moment my father took back the Emerald Tree Kingdom from the hands of the Naughty Elves organization,"

"Base on the records about Willis, he is one of the best butlers and has always been performing his duty as a butler diligently. There are practically no stains on his records nor has there been any rumors about him acting suspicious, which rejects your assumption,"

"Then, does this mean that he's actually clean?" Elvis asked as he turned to look at Leo. 

"No," Leo shook his head. The String of Fate never lies. If the String of Fate shows a black string, then there is no doubt that Willis is an enemy. He quickly asked, "Do you have any records about the other butlers that serve your Evergreen royal family?"

"Unfortunately, I don't. But, good thing I have asked my trusted butler to gather everyone's records while we were eating our lunch," Elmont said as he turned to look at the man wearing a butler's uniform who just entered the training ground through a secret passage. He quickly introduced, "His name is Robin. There is no need to worry about him leaking our meeting here. I was the one who made him into a butler of the Evergreen royal family after I bought him from one of the Slave Houses in the Emerald City a few years ago,"

While catching his breath, Robin waved his hand, quickly taking out a bunch of books from his Storage Ring, "Your highness, here are all the records of all of the butlers working for the Evergreen royal family, of course including mine,"

"Good job, Robin. As a reward, I'll give you and Mary a few weeks of paid leave so that the both of you can enjoy watching the Emerald Elven Battle Competition," Elmont said with a smile. 

"Thank you, your highness," Robin bowed his head. 

"You can leave now," Elmont waved his hand. 

After seeing Robin leave through the secret passage, Elmont then handed the books to Leo. 

Accepting the books, Leo then began reading the records about all the butlers working for the Evergreen royal family one by one. After nearly twenty minutes, he put down the last book. 

"Discovered anything?" Elmont quickly asked. 

"If I didn't read these records, then I would definitely not notice anything wrong about Willis," Leo said, he explained, "Practically all of the butlers working for the Evergreen royal family has a bad record or a rumor circulating about them. Like for example, your slave Robin,"

"Despite having a very clean record, there are still some rumors of Robin circulating around the castle about dating a maid named Mary. There are also some who reported seeing the two of them having 'fun' with each other during working hours," 

"There are also a few butlers, who, despite not having any rumors circulating about them, still have a few bad records of stealing food from the kitchen,"

"Yet, this butler named Willis actually doesn't have any bad record nor any rumors about him. His record is basically as clean as a crystal,"

"If even unimportant information like dating one of the maids or stealing food from the kitchen is recorded, then how come Willis doesn't have anything about him?"

"Indeed, that is really suspicious," Elvis nodded his head in understanding to what Leo meant with his words, "Only if there is something wrong with Willis' sexual interest, like for example he is actually a eunuch or that he likes males, or that he doesn't ever feel hungry during work that he would secretly steal food from the kitchen, would he have such a crystal clear record! Additionally, as a person himself, whatever status he has in life, he is bound to make a mistake, however big or small that mistake is,"

"We also need to take into consideration that this Willis has been working from the moment King Elfin the Fourth was crowned as the new King of the Emerald Tree Kingdom. In such a long span of time, it's impossible for him to not make any mistake!" Iasiah quickly added.

"I agree with that," Nightingale agreed with what Iasiah had just said, he continued, "That's not all, this Willis should also have considerably high status as a butler of the Evergreen royal family considering that during our lunch he was the only butler who was allowed to serve everyone drinks. He should have King Elfin the Fourth's favor that's why he was the only butler who was allowed to do such a thing,"

"With such a favor on his hand, especially from King Elfin the Fourth, it's next to impossible for him to not use it to do something to his advantage, like how Captain Timon uses the name of the Elves Secret organization in order to help his little brother Timor,"

"It all makes sense to me now..." Elmont finally understood what Leo and the others meant with their words. It's exactly because Willis has a crystal clear record that's why he's considered suspicious. No matter how diligent they are or the likes in their job, it's impossible for one not to make mistakes in life.
