[Day 83]
Yesterday we tried to cheer up the kids and we cooked them so delicious food, warm and nice hotpot of rabbit and crow meat seemed to have cheered them a bit, and then fruits and slime jelly for dessert also made them rather happy, after that, I began to build up individual beds for all of them, while simultaneously working on a third floor and a greater expansion of Fuyu.
Fuyu also helped me on this, and we build up most of the third floor in this little time, while also expanding the other two floors to become wider.
There were no drones following us around, and the day was mostly peaceful. I practiced my own magic and also cultivated with Benladann and everyone else except the kids and the grandma. I also tore apart my soul a bit and then regenerated it to train its density and expand its mass some more. It hurt, but I was already used to the soul pain. I plan to make another Split Soul and create another being similar to Fuyu… maybe an Ice Golem? Or a living snowman? We'll see.
Technically Skadi also got intelligence, but it usually is rather silent. I guess each split soul inherits some part of my personality, as they are based on my split souls. Fuyu is rather calm but overprotective, while Skadi seems to be silent and calculative, and she seems to like to kill, as she always brings us prey she hunted on her own.
Yeah, I am referring to Skadi as "her" for now, she doesn't mind. Although it is a split soul, she is developing her own emotions and personality, similarly to Fuyu, so I can't call them as if they were technically me… especially because they are genderless beings too.

Well, leaving all these side projects and other stuff aside, I've been trying to memorize all the kids and plan what to do with them, I can't simply let them live rent-free in here. I am making them work to get stronger!
Yeah, call me heartless or whatever, I don't care, they are not slacking off. Especially because they are so young, so they would be able to enhance their growth even more if they were to train from such a young age!
I am also planning on giving them my blood, alongside the grandma… Also, I think all of them have some interesting types of magic, some could become useful if they were properly trained. But for that, we'll need some time.
Well, today will be quite a busy day, that's for sure.
Today in the morning I woke up with Benladann at my side… And there were two other little girls…
…
Eh?!
There were two small girls… one was red-haired and the other black-haired…
These are… Flayr and Noirenn, I think. I remember seeing them the other day, before evolving.
Flayr seems to be a very emotional girl, while Noirenn is calmer. Flayr was crying the most out of all the kids, while Noirenn calmed her down.
I always thought that all ice giants would have silvery-white hair and yellow eyes, but some of these kids have very different hair and eye colors, so I guess the only thing they share is being tall and being blue-skinned. And even then, their skin tones differ, some are paler, while others have a darker blue color… So interesting. Even as a subspecies of giants, Ice Giants are just as varied as humans on Earth.
Anyways, how did these two little sneaky girls got in our bed?! Ah well, Benladann's bed… B-But we always sleep together like this, so I am beginning to think it is our bed now…

"You two…" I said, as the girls didn't even hear me, they were deep in their sleep…
They are "little" as both are 6 years of age, but they are already around one meter and a half in size… perhaps a bit more too. As they age, ice giants get bigger and bigger, even the baby is quite large.
Flayr emanates a faintly red-colored essence from her chest, while Noirenn emanates a faintly dark-colored essence from her chest… these two girls clearly don't have Ice Magic. Flayr would probably be… Fire Magic? On an Ice Giant?! And Noirenn is… most likely Dark Magic… Interesting. I wonder how their spells and magic could be used if they train it enough… Fire Magic could certainly come in handy… if we could make a furnace and forge metallic weapons and armor… and then I can enhance them with my ice… or my scales… oh… That could be interesting.
Also Fire magic is usually the most devastating of elements in most fantasy novels, usually, fire mages are offensive long-ranged maniacs, and seeing how explosive are Flayr's emotions are, I would guess she would one day be yelling "Explosion!" at things…
And Noirenn… I don't know. Maybe she could manipulate shadows?
Well, I began to touch their little foreheads with the tip of my claw, as they seemed to not want to wake up, cuddling more over the leather sheets.
Ugh…
Benladann, however, woke up after some time, as she opened her eyes wide as saw the two sleeping over us.
"Eh? T-Those are Flayr and Noirenn…?" she asked, as the little girls ended waking up at the end.
"Mwuh… Big sis…" muttered Noirenn, hugging Benladann's leg.
"Dragon…" said Flayr, as she hugged my tail.
"Eh?!"
Both of us exclaimed at the same time… they really got clingy for meeting us just some days ago…
I quickly spoke to Benladann through Telepathy.
"I think they have attached themselves to us because they need some kind of fraternal figure… the grandma doesn't seem to be as friendly sometimes, as she is rather strict," I said.
"Is that so…?" muttered Benladann with a low voice.
"What should we do? I don't really mind them being clingy, I guess we could teach them well if they trust us, this is a good opportunity," I said.
"Yeah, I think the same…!" said Benladann, nodding confidently.

Conquest Of Mortem
*NOTE* This novel is a war of attrition. To say anything less is a disservice to its demand. While comparable to other such works as Ulysses or Moby Dick, each sentence in Conquest is an enemy to be tackled. Not in the ways of difficulty but in absurd density that wishes nothing more than to destroy what patience you may have. Do not tackle chapters as you would ordinary chapters in an ordinary book. Tackle each chapter as a book unto itself. A foe to be vanquished, a period of life to leave behind. Seek to be master of this work. Seek to overcome. For in its design is the willpower, and the perseverance, and the strength of someone who sought meaning in struggle. As I discovered these in times of ultimate desperation, so I hope for you to discover these things. This novel is a love letter to your trials. May you overcome them. May you master them. May you become conquerer.- SeedSagaA literary epic for logophiles, philosophers, and poets alike. A journey into zeitgeist, the impact of media on culture, and the endurance of morality against an onslaught of hatred. These vague descriptions do little to compact Conquest's density into a bite-size summary. They do however relate the basest themes found within. A plot, if such can be surmised, is strung thinly across multiple perspectives, weaving together these concepts into a seemingly distorted tapestry of indecipherable events. Inspired by early 20th century modernism, Conquest will challenge the reader, and provide critique on the medium upon which all great stories are derived. Further interpretation is up to you now; an explorer among a sea of words. Venture on and discover what lies ahead, in...CONQUEST OF MORTEM
