…
[Spear of Freezing Winter: Skadi (B-Grade+)]
A powerful giant spear with a length of almost 10 meters crafted purely out of Magic Ice conjured by a powerful and talented Ice Dragon.
Its name has given it unique properties and its creation was made with immense amounts of effort and time.
This weapon can evolve over time while bathing in the blood of its victims.
[Durability: 6000/6000]
[Attack Power: 5500]
[Magic Conductivity: 4500]
[Weapon Speed: 6000]
[Traits: [Evolving Weapon (B)], [Piercing Ice Spikes (B)], [Furious Dragon Strength (B)], [Auto-Repair (B)], [Winter Storm (B)], [Skadi's Blessing (B)], [Slaughter Healing (B)], [Levitate (B)], [Independent Weapon (B)]
…
My amazing Skadi holds many effects within, but one of the most commendable ones is the abilities it possesses!
Levitate helps the weapon float through the use of accumulated Mana through its Mana Storage.
Independent Weapon gives it a small will of its own without even having a soul because of just how powerful of a magic weapon it is. I can give it simple tasks such as slaughtering enemies, flying around, and more.
Because I formed a soul connection with it by connecting a soul thread with it, it will always know where I am, and it can constantly get Mana supplied to it wherever it is.
Slaughter Healing helps the weapon recover and repair any crack or damage by killing beings and absorbing their vitality and blood. I also get like half of what it recovers even from far away, so there is nice passive healing there, even though I already have an Immortal Body for that.
The Piercing Ice Spikes Trait makes Skadi move incredibly quickly in midair, generating the illusion that it is many ice spikes falling over the unfortunate foe it is going to impale to death.
Furious Dragon Strength is an upgraded version of Dragon Strength, and it enhances the weapon with a bit more power as a boost in the form of a crimson-red-colored aura.

Winter Storm is another offensive Trait that releases a powerful storm of winds against an enemy, which spirals into a powerful tornado of pure freezing winds, it is a good long-ranged attack.
And lastly, Skadi's Blessing grants me a passive boost to all my stats by merely "equipping" the weapon, which can count as equipped because I am "holding" it with my soul.
And that's without counting the stats it possesses, [Durability: 6000/6000], [Attack Power: 5500], [Magic Conductivity: 4500], and [Weapon Speed: 6000], which is enough to give it amazing durability, power, magic conduction, and speed while flying in midair.
My plan is pretty simple, I am not just setting down with Skadi, I am making more of these overpowered giant weapons of over 10 meters of length, and as of now, I am passively crafting a giant blade, similar to the Dragon Slayer that Guts wield in the manga Berserk.
I don't know what name I will give it, but it is certainly taking its time to be made, so it won't be ready in a few days.
What I want is to have an army of these flying weapons to be even more overpowered. After all, I have to abuse everything I have! Why settle down with ice projectiles made at the moment if I can make permanent super ice weapons?
I may sound like a sicko, but I am eager to try it out…
"Drake! Lunch is ready~!"
Suddenly, as I was admiring my beautiful spear, Benladann calls to me with a cute tone of voice, telling me that lunch is ready… I feel like she acts like a housewife now.
"Oh, alright!"
I quickly fly back inside the Ice Fortress while the fortress keeps slowly flying towards the direction we were going into.
When I enter inside the fortress I am greeted by the delicious smell of hotpot, it seems that Benladann has made once more her delicious hotpot!

"I added wolf meat and also ice crow meat, so it has a very rich flavor," said Benladann, as she quickly served me a large plate of warm soup, with large chunks of meat spread around, mushrooms, dried herbs, and boiled roots of Root Salt.
The little roots of the Root Salt can actually be boiled and eaten whole, as they don't harbor as much sodium as the big tubers where most of the salt is. So Benladann decided to wash them, cut them, and add them into the hotpot.
When they are boiled, they taste like already salted boiled potatoes, so it is pretty amazing.
"You're so good at cooking, Benladann…" I said while eating everything.
"Hehe… I am glad you like it, Drake," said Benladann with an adorable smile as she ate soup at my side with Yuki and the other wolves sitting around.
"What I like the most is that you make a lot of soup for me, you're very considerate," I said.
"It is nothing, really! I am just doing my best. I like to see you happy while eating what I prepare…" said Benladann, as she suddenly flushed a bit.
"Really? I can't wait until we reach some city so we can buy more ingredients and food to prepare. I am dying to taste the bread of this world and other types of meat such as the pigs or cows your town had… Oh, and also eggs!" I said.
"Hm! I am also looking forward to that. I hope everyone is still there after all the time I was gone…" said Benladann.
"Yeah, let's hope they're there. I am sure that if your parents love you, they will wait for their daughter to come back one day," I said.
"Thanks for your kind words, Drake. I am also looking forward to it! I want my parents to see you, I want them to accept you!" said Benladann.
"Accept me?" I asked.
"Like… Err… To get the approval of my parents for us to…! Ah… N-Never mind!" said Benladann, she suddenly covered her face while growing as red as a tomato.
The approval of what? Does she want me to become her official pet? I don't want to be a pet…
Well, if it just pretending… But I doubt her parents would believe that a giant dragon is her pet.
Suddenly, as we ate, I received a sudden howl from Frost.
I expanded my vision and realized the wolves began to fight against… slimy creatures.
They looked like they were made of… water and ice.
Wait, are these Slimes?!
Ad they got large mana cores floating in the middle of their slimy bodies.
It is time for a new meal, I guess…
I hope slimes are sweet, we need a new dessert that is not just these pears which I am getting tired of.
I quickly order Yuzu to hover near the surface, as it ends up floating only ten meters above the ground, right atop the pine trees.
"What's going on?" asked Benladann, who had just finished eating.
"Monsters. And new ones!" I said.
"Monsters? So fast? But it isn't something the wolves can handle?" asked Benladann.
"Yeah, they are tough… Well, more like hard to kill. You see… They are a bit slimy," I said.
"Slimy? Slugs?" asked Benladann, as she walked outside of the fortress by leaping over my back, Yuki quickly came afterward, as I flew down below.
"No, Slimes…"

Persona Non Grata
After the events of Dr. Jose Rizal's second novel "El Filibusterismo", the story follows the tale of the former students Basilio and Isagani in the aftermath of the failed assassination plot against the most powerful governing political figures in the Delos Santos residence. Now a licensed doctor and a tenured businessman, Basilio and Isagani returns to the Philippines after their 10-year venture in Spain and in the United States to spearhead a large-scale project for the Spanish crown. For the first time in the history of the country, the Spanish government has allowed Indios to pioneer major public works, and the Filipinos, seeing this as major milestone of their race, welcomed it cheering and with open arms. It was also during that same year when the new Captain-General was appointed to the Philippines following the scandal involving the outgoing Captain-General, who sent an entire battalion of Indio conscripts to be deliberately slaughtered by a gang of tulisanes led by a man going by the name 'Matanglawin' (Falcon-eye). Leonardo Montes, the incoming Captain-General, was both feared and loved by his subjects. A close friend of the king and reputed for upholding honor, discipline and goodwill among his subjects, he won the confidence of the Cortes and of the Filipino people when political unrest arose during the tenure of his predecessor when he represented the Philippines in the high courts and won the case. However, Montes, now at the early days of his tenure, is faced with a huge and pressing problem: the widespread opium trade in the Philippines. Chinese immigration to the Philippines has increased at an exponential rate since his predecessor came to power and so is the circulation of the substance within the country. And to make matters worse, strange cases of killings and abductions began to terrorize the country, with the motives of the culprit unknown...

Hazelsong: A LitRPG Novel
Release Schedule: I will be moving to a set release schedule as of 1/1/2022. A new chapter will be released every Saturday at Noon EST. If I have time that week for a second chapter, I will leave a note on the Saturday chapter and post the second chapter on Sunday at Noon EST. An up to date character sheet for the MC Erik will also be posted on Sundays at 12:15 PM. If life happens and I am for some reason unable to write that week, I will post a blank chapter giving you an update on where I am with my writing. Saturday Noon EST: First weekly chapter Sunday Noon EST: Second weekly chapter (if I have the time) Sunday 12:15 EST: Updated character sheet Synopsis: Years after surviving a deadly accident, Erik struggles to come to terms with his painful disability. When offered the chance to playtest the world's first full immersion VRMMO, he wants nothing more than to retreat back into his secluded life, until he learns what Hazelsong really offers. An escape from the pain. Hazelsong is a world of magic and adventure, a place where friendships are formed, loot is won, and glory and fame are there for the taking. While the threats feel real and the stakes are always high, there is only one thing Erik is really in danger of. Forgetting which world is actually real. Story Themes: Hazelsong is a LitRPG novel that not only explores the fictional world of a realistic online fantasy realm but the life of a man suffering in silence from chronic pain and PTSD due to a significant physical injury and disability. Mental health is an important subject and we all know at least one person in our lives who has or is dealing with some form of mental illness. I plan on putting my best effort forward to represent these illnesses in a fair and accurate manner. Not as a cheap plot device to help make the protagonist more unique, but to help paint an accurate picture for those of us who have been lucky enough to not have to suffer in silence. About the Author: I am Ash Durra, general video game nerd and a connoisseur of fantasy and sci-fi of all shapes and sizes. Needless to say, I am not a professional author (B.S. and M.S. in Education, 8 years teaching). After really getting into LitRPG novels over the past several years, I found my way to Royal Road, which has inspired me to use my spare time to begin writing a story of my own creation. As this is a hobby, I am not writing and posting chapters on any kind of specific schedule at the moment, though my goal is to post on average 1-2 chapters a week. I am incredibly excited to share this story with others as I write it, and I look forward to any constructive feedback about how I can improve in my writing.

GLADIUS // Eret X Reader
PHANTASM SERIES BOOK 4---Gladius, (noun): (in ancient Rome) a short sword.---Eret perked up as soon as you and Simon walked into the room, a wide and welcoming smile coming onto his face. He was softer looking than his father had been, but you could still see some of the similar traits. He had a head of thick dark curls, and the same sharp jaw that his father had had. He wasn't as bulky though - he was tall and thin - and his face was a lot more open. What separated him most from his father's likeness though was the colorful cape, and the large mirrored glasses he wore - swirling with colors reflected from the room. He stood from his seat when Maven let the doors swing shut behind her, that wide smile still on his face. "You must be the embassy.""And you must be King Eret." You said, stooping into a bow. "Oh, there's no need for that." Eret said as you rose from your bow. He stepped down from the dias where his throne sat - colorful cape trailing behind him - and came to stand in front of you, taking your hand instead. "I'm not really one for formalities." He grinned, shaking your hand. His palm was warm against yours, and you could feel some slight callouses - most likely from practicing his sword work.
