《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 1566. Treacherous Wang Yu

The Northern and Southern servers had been unified for such a long time but a small portion of people still retained their old habits of speaking. Tulip’s way of expressing herself immediately brought this whole matter to a national level.
She had no other choice. There could only be one player to earn that reward for killing Wang Yu and Blossoming Moon’s act of banishing Tulip was still reasonable. His mistake was the fact that he shouldn’t have listened to Wang Yu and killed them…
Everyone lived in Starry Sky City and what made Blossoming Moon think that Tulip wouldn’t want to maintain her pride? Doing this to Blossoming Moon and his guild made perfect sense.
A woman’s logic had always been eccentric. If you don’t want me to get it, you shall not get it too.
“What?”
Looking at the public announcement in the sky, all the players from Golden Time were in disbelief.
What was going on? Since when did they become traitors of the country?
Golden Sun Blossom was even more confused than anyone else…
Wang Yu couldn’t help but chuckle when he saw Golden Sun Blossom’s expression, “You guys deserve it for offending a woman! If you refuse to answer my question, you will have it much worse later!”
“What do you want?” Golden Sun Blossom asked cautiously.
“Hehe!” With one hand, Wang Yu grabbed Golden Sun Blossom’s collar while using the other hand to point at the main city beneath him, “Do you see that? I’m planning to bring you around the city before letting you down in a place with the most players around. Of course, I’ll also give you a bag of gold!”
“This…”
Hearing Wang Yu’s words, Golden Sun Blossom’s sweat started pouring down his head.
At the thought of this, everyone must be wondering why bringing this fella around the city and giving him a bag of gold was bad? Wasn’t it a good thing? Why was this fella so worried?

How could he not be?!
After hanging out with Fearless for such a long time, all Wang Yu learnt from Fearless was mischievous deeds.
Killing Golden Sun Blossom once, he would at most lose a few experience points and seconds later, he would become a good man again. But if Wang Yu gave him so much money in front of so many people, there would be no way out for Golden Sun Blossom.
After all, Wang Yu was currently up against every player from Starry Sky City. Standing or getting close to Wang Yu meant going up against Starry Sky City.
Starry Sky City might look peaceful but with that many big guilds in this place, power struggles had been fairly obvious. Even though Tulip merely made a public announcement, everyone started going against Golden Time without any hesitation.
Couldn’t all these guilds tell that Tulip was blurting rubbish?
Of course not!
Tulip dared to shout something like that because she understood the hearts of the other leaders. Everyone had been competing with each other so who wouldn’t want to have one less competitor at a time like this? This was especially true for a guild of Golden Time’s strength. Once they managed to get rid of Golden Time, they were not only eliminating one competitor, they might even dredge up some benefits.
Therefore, even though everyone did not believe Tulip completely, their actions were leaning towards that.
Even so, everyone couldn’t help but feel slightly guilty if they were to exterminate Golden Time because of some random reason. This would also mean that others could do the same to exterminate their own guild.
Therefore, everybody felt slightly uncomfortable if they were to exterminate Golden Time just like that.
But if Wang Yu really did what he wanted to do and let Golden Sun Blossom off in front of a place with many players before handing him a bag of gold… Everyone would immediately think that he had some intimate relationship with a foreigner and without a doubt, Golden Time’s reputation as a traitor would be fixed.

Once the leaders of the other guilds gathered enough evidence, they would no longer hesitate.
Could it be that nobody in the entire city could figure out Wang Yu’s sowing dissension stratagem? Of course, there were people who could tell, but so what? Everyone merely wanted an excuse to attack Golden Time so nobody cared whether it was true or false.
However, this was still not Golden Sun Blossom’s ultimate concern. As long as the players were around, they could rebuild the guild easily. However, Wang Yu’s act of giving him the money in front of so many people would be extremely ruthless as he was clearly leaving Golden Sun Blossom without a choice. Once that happens, even if Blossoming Moon believed him, would the rest of the players trust him?
It was clear that if Wang Yu were to do that, Golden Sun Blossom would immediately turn into a rat on the street who would be cursed at in the future… Dying would be better than living a life like that!
As the vice-president of a massive guild like Golden Time, Golden Sun Blossom’s income was naturally not too low. If Wang Yu really did that to him, his life would be over and that was not only in the game.
Golden Sun Blossom was a smart person so he understood the severity of the consequences. He asked with a trembling voice, “God Bull can ask anything you have on your mind! All I ask is for mercy!”
“Alright!” Wang Yu nodded satisfyingly when he saw how terrified Golden Sun Blossom was, “Let me ask you something. Have you heard of God’s Glory?”
“This…”
Golden Sun Blossom hurriedly replied, “No, I haven’t! What is that? I haven’t heard of it at all!”
“Really?” Wang Yu sighed as he squinted his eyes, “It is not that I didn’t give you a chance but you did not make use of your chance… Since you haven’t heard of it, I shall do what I said I will do. Don’t worry, I will give you even more gold.”
After saying that, Wang Yu flew around and headed towards the centre of the city.
“Don’t, don’t don’t…”
Seeing that Wang Yu was serious, Golden Sun Blossom’s soul almost flew out of his body. He anxiously waved his hands and said, “Bull, Grandpa Bull… I think I’ve suddenly remembered something about this God’s Glory.”
“Really?” Wang Yu answered, “Do not play any tricks with me. You should know what I’m capable of!”
“Yes, I do, yes, I do!”
Golden Sun Blossom was truly terrified.
Golden Sun Blossom had no doubts that Wang Yu was more than capable of coming up with new ways to torture him.
“Alright!”
Wang Yu continued, “Say it then, where is God’s Glory?”
“This…” Golden Sun Blossom replied, “I really do not know what is God’s Glory?”
“Oh?” Wang Yu was truly about to rage.
“Don’t, don’t be anxious!” Golden Sun Blossom continued in an anxious tone, “But I’ve heard about a Glory Palace over at the God’s Tower. I do think that it is related to that God’s Glory that you’re talking about.”
“God’s Tower?” Wang Yu furrowed his brows, “What is that?”
“It is that building!” Golden Sun Blossom pointed to the towering tower in the middle of Starry Sky City, “This is the God’s Tower and it is rumoured that the God of Light died on the tower and that his glory has been shining over all his residents ever since…”

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)
