《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 1543. Blueprint Of A God-Grade Weapon

: Precious equipment. After being used, you will obtain the forging method for God-slaying Demon-killing Bow, a God-grade weapon. Requirement for usage: Forgemaster.
“Blueprint to forge a God-grade weapon!!!”
Seeing the old and tattered paper in his hands, even the usually calm Wang Yu was greatly surprised.
Although he did not know what attributes the God-slaying Demon-killing Bow would have after being forged, he knew it would be exceptional just based on its name.
After all, God and Demons were on extreme ends of this food chain.
God-slaying and demon-killing. Even the name was so exaggerated so its ability had to be unimaginable or else, it would not live up to its name.
Logically speaking, although Pugilists could use any weapons, Pugilists’ skills were all for bare hands so a bow was not very useful.
However, as a martial artist, he mastered all weapons and Wang Yu was even an expert at all eighteen types of weapons. His archery skills were above everyone else so to him, this blueprint was not completely useless.
Furthermore, even if he sold such a blueprint, no one would dare to buy it as it required a forgemaster.
It was extremely difficult to master a real-life skill in the game, especially to the master level.
After the game server had been launched for so long, the professional blacksmiths of those big guilds had their own pile of blueprints and ingredients but most of them were stuck at being a high-grade blacksmith.
The only reason was that to become a forgemaster, they had to forge a God-grade weapon just like Wang Yu did.
There were only several God-grade equipment in the game. Other than those Wang Yu had, there were basically no other God-grade weapons which were made by players as high-level blacksmiths could at best make obsidian equipment. If they wanted a God-grade weapon, they had to find other means.

Just by looking at the few God-grade weapons Wang Yu had, they were made from models. There were barely any made from blueprints.
Since Wang Yu faced such a situation, ordinary blacksmith players would not have it any better.
Hence, in the entire game, Wang Yu was the only one who reached master level for a real-life job. He was even the officially designated Blacksmith.
This God-slaying Demon-killing Bow’s blueprint was for a God-grade weapon. The game setting made it that weapons forged by a player had way higher attributes than one dropped by a BOSS, so if he sold this blueprint, it would not be any cheaper than the price of a God-grade weapon.
There is no need to mention how expensive a God-grade weapon was. There would not be anyone stupid enough to spend so much money on a blueprint which he or she could not use.
After thinking about it, Wang Yu decided and clicked on ‘use’.
Wang Yu opened his skills column and clicked on the forge button. Indeed, at the bottom of the ‘forge weapon’ page, God-slaying Demon-killing Bow’s blueprint lit up.
Wang Yu was such an itchy hand and casually clicked on the blueprint. Soon after, a long checklist of ingredients appeared before him.
Elite gold, cosmic iron… etc, Looking alone made him dizzy, much less could he remember all of them. Furthermore, Wang Yu did not even recognise some of the ingredients’ names.
Wang Yu was dazzled by the list and was about to close it when suddenly, he saw a few familiar ingredients.
Heart of Flames x1, Glorious Black Stone x1, God’s Glory x1, Dragon’s Reverse Scale x1…
“Why does this look so familiar?” Wang Yu saw the ingredients and rubbed his chin. Although he did not know what relation this God-slaying Demon-killing Bow had with the Martial God, since the ingredient list included these familiar things, it should have an inexplicable relationship with the quest he was doing with Prairie Fire.

After all, the game settings in > were bits pieced together with many loopholes (because of the game, not the author) but the quest system was quite perfected. Sometimes, different quests were related to one another. Such a feature was known as an “Easter Egg Hunt”.
Since the forging ingredients for God-slaying Demon-killing Bow included these few, its background story should also be related to the Martial God.
Walking out of Dark Demon Dragon’s hideout, Prairie Fire had already kept all the items he left behind.
The items were basically just a box, most likely containing the blueprint of Holy Demon Armament. However, since they had not left the Dragon Valley, they could not open the box due to restricted magic.
Seeing that Wang Yu walked out of Dark Demon Dragon’s hideout, Prairie Fire took out two fangs, walked to Wang Yu, passed them to him and said, “Brother Bull, this is for you…”
“???”
Wang Yu puzzledly took the fangs and looked at them.
Dragon’s Tooth: Precious ingredient, can be used for forging.
He then clarified, “Why are you giving me this?”
“Erm…” Prairie Fire said with gratitude, “If it was not for you in this quest, we would not be able to reach this stage, much less defeat the Dark Demon Dragon. My aim was to get the Holy Demon Armament’s blueprint but Dark Demon Dragon also dropped this. Although it is not that valuable, I don’t think we should keep it.”
“Thank you then!”
Wang Yu heard what Prairie Fire said and clasped his fists towards him. He then casually kept the fangs in his bag and at the same time, his impression of Prairie Fire improved quite a bit.
Games always amplified the ugly side of people. Even an upright, honest lad like Iron Bull had a dark side after playing the game for so long.
Actually, Prairie Fire could have not given Wang Yu anything but surprisingly, he gave Wang Yu these ingredients. This showed that he was mindful of his actions.
No matter where mindful people went, they would not find trouble. Wang Yu was more innocent so of course, he did not dislike such people.
“Let’s go!”
After clearing the battlefield, Wang Yu waved and everyone left Dark Demon Dragon’s hideout. However, in just a few steps, suddenly, a notification appeared above Dragon Valley.
“F*ck!”
Seeing this news, Blossoming Moon and the rest were surprised.
The geography of the Dragon Valley was extraordinarily complicated. Without Wang Yu’s flying ability, even though Blossoming Moon and the rest had the map, they took countless bends and turns and had just reached Dragon Valley’s entrance but Wang Yu and the rest had already killed the BOSS. It was shocking how fast they were.
“This guy got killed so quickly…” Golden Sun Blossom said in surprise, “We have just reached the entrance.”
“Hmph!” Blossoming Moon coldly said, “Seems like Dark Demon Dragon Aitas’ ability is not very impressive.”
“That’s true!”
Golden Sun Blossom nodded and said, “It seems like this trial is the same as the initial quest to see who reaches the destination first so the greatest challenge was the map of Dragon Valley. Dark Demon Dragon is probably just the appetiser.”

Redshirt: The Journey
Freedom and Order. Peace and War. Love and Hate. Hundreds of young children awaken in a damaged world, on the brink of societal collapse, witnessing the birth of an omnipotent system. Their roles are pre-determined, yet the very fabric of reality lie in their hands. The order of the world shapes them, just how they are free to shape the world in their disparate visions. Each choice, each action, each word, has consequences that reach far beyond their perception. Freedom or Order; ashes in the wind, or the gilded chains. Updates at least every Monday, Thursday, and every other Sarturday, (from 26/11/2021). This is primarily a story exploring what it means to be human, using a lens of a hopefully real-feeling fantasy world. This story is not a power fantasy or a traditional Litrpg , while it has elements of these genres, it will focus on how these tropes would influence real people and possibly Redshirt will break some of these tropes along the way. There will be a variety of different characters and perspectives, some you hate, some you love, and some that will frustrate. Just as all people do. I don't believe there will be anything overly traumatic or explicit, but it's better to be safe than sorry. There will be some heavy topics explored, the characters views do not reflect the authors; however, if there is an issue in how I present/understand these issues please do tell me, and I will try my best to rectify it.
