《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 1503. Dark Crevice

Of course, Meng Xi and A Thousand Old Blossoms did not discuss with Wang Yu what murderous intent was exactly.
After all, in the game’s world, whoever was stronger would always be right.
Not just murderous intent, even if Wang Yu said that he was a Martial Arts Immortal, the two of them would have to agree with him.
At the dark crevice, west of the Ethel Mountains, it was not too far from where Wang Yu and the rest were based on the map.
With A Thousand Old Blossoms leading the way, the three of them headed towards their destination at their own pace.
It was really undeniable that the European server’s players were generally quite aggressive.
Along the way, the three of them encountered three to four ambushes, not including the attempted robberies.
It was no wonder that Wild City’s players demanded money on the roads. Seeing that A Thousand Old Blossoms was used to it, it was likely that this culture spread over from here.
…
Just as the three of them were heading towards the dark crevice, chaos was happening in Forgotten City.
Forgotten City was only a small border city, around the size of Harbor City and uncomparable to Wild City where the Ancient Empire was stationed.
In such a small place, news spread fast.
Players in Forgotten City enjoyed ambushing players who crossed international borders. Usually, unless they come across a large guild with experts like Ancient Empire, they rarely fail.
However, Wang Yu and the other two had been killing their journey through. In less than half an hour, several small teams were unusually sent to the resurrection location one after another.
Bad news spread the fastest. Furthermore, these guys felt indignant that they were killed so they gathered help in preparation to return to the border to take their revenge.
Just like that, almost the entire Forgotten City knew that there were these few people causing trouble at the border.

Quickly, the news also reached the largest guild in Forgotten City, Glorious Sword’s leader, Skeleton King.
The few of them sincerely wanted to stay away from trouble and just had to get to the dark crevice. However, Skeleton King had a different perspective.
The international border was a very sensitive area and all these while, Wild City and Forgotten City had not gotten along very peacefully.
To Skeleton King, Wang Yu and the two of their actions were a plotted hunting mission.
In Forgotten City, at the guild office of Glorious Sword.
A big-built Warrior was sitting at the table and this was Glorious Sword’s leader, Skeleton King. Standing beside him was a female Magician in a red magic robe.
That female Magician was extremely pretty and although the robe was loose on her, it did not cover her near-perfect body shape.
Seeing the information sent from the international border, Skeleton asked the female Magician, “Scarlet Cloud, where are they now?”
“Near the international border!” Scarlet Cloud picked up a pen from the table and pointed at the coordinates on the map which was placed in front of Skeleton King and said, “Based on the situation, they are walking toward this place. Should we go after them?”
As she spoke, Scarlet Cloud pointed at dark crevice’s location.
“Here?”
Skeleton King looked at where Scarlet Cloud was pointing at and said, “Isn’t that the dark crevice? Don’t tell me they want to go in?”
“Go into the dark crevice?” Scarlet Cloud was surprised by his words and said, “No way. Do they want to die?”
“You never know!” Skeleton King said, “Lead our first and second team to go take a look.”
“Erm…” Scarlet Cloud hesitantly said, “It’s difficult to level up. I don’t want to die.”
“You don’t have to go in! Just block the entrance!” Skeleton King said, “Once they come out, kill them.”

“What if they don’t come out?” Scarlet Cloud was not stupid, She clearly knew what dark crevice was. It was not a place where players could come and go as they wished.
“That’s fine!” Skeleton King said with a smile, “If they die, they will resurrect in Forgotten City. If that happens, leave it to us.”
“Alright!”
Scarlet Could had no choice but to nod in agreement.
…
Near the international border, Wang Yu and the two of them arrived at the place they marked on the map.
Scanning their surroundings, Wang Yu finally found a ball of thick purple smog at the intersection point of the mountains. Amongst the smog, he seemingly saw a dark entrance.
“This is the dark crevice,” A Thousand Old Blossoms pointed at the entrance and said.
“We are finally here!”
Seeing the dark crevice, Wang Yu almost teared up.
Damn it, this place is really tough to find. If A Thousand Old Blossoms did not lead them here, even with a map, Wang Yu would lose his way in this deep mountainous range.
“Brother Bull? Are you really going in?” A Thousand Old Blossoms tried persuading him again, “It’s very dangerous inside. You…”
“Don’t worry!” Wang Yu thought he was worried about him so he was very touched and waved his hand in dismissal, “Our quest is just to check it out. We will be out very soon.”
“I know.” A Thousand Old Blossoms said, “Can you give me my slavery contract first? I’m afraid that if you guys don’t make it out, I won’t be able to find you.”
Wang Yu, “…”
“Alright, we’re heading in. Go back!”
After taking out the slavery contract and throwing it at A Thousand Old Blossoms, Wang Yu waved at him then went into the entrance.
Based on the background story, the Dark Barrier was the heterodimensional crack at the link between the demon world and the real world back before darkness fell.
Its effect was to unendingly send dark currents into this world.
As the darkness currents here were thicker and this place was connected to the real world, several extremely strong monsters were usually hiding in the dark crevice.
These monsters were typically known as magical creatures. They were strong, had good AI and had a lot of precious equipment on them.
In the dark crevice, although there were some sources of light, it was still completely dark. It felt as though they entered a black room and could not figure out what was in the surrounding.
Wang Yu scanned the surroundings and after confirming that it was safe, he sent Meng Xi a message and she came in too.
“It’s so dark!” Meng Xi’s first words upon stepping in were to express her dissatisfaction towards this place.
“Sister! This is the dark crevice. Do you think you can get the GM to turn on the lights?” Wang Yu spouted.
“Hmm, that’s a good idea. I will suggest this to them when I have the chance.” Meng Xi nodded.
Wang Yu, “…”
Great, rich people were indeed almighty. They can even play the game like this.
This dilapidated place was in another dimension so Wang Yu’s compass lost its use here. Using his instinct to decide where to go, Wang Yu carefully walked deeper into the dark crevice.
As a girl, although Meng Xi had seen the world, she was still a woman after all. She had a natural fear of such scary, pitch-black scenes so she closely followed Wang Yu.
After walking for a long time, they did not see anything. Just then, Meng Xi finally realised that something was amiss so she puzzledly asked, “Hmm? Did we not move at all?”
