《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 1482. Captain Don’t Open Fire’s Ruthlessness

After sending the message to Big Bear Deng Deng An, Captain Don’t Open Fire opened up his friend list and created a group with all the small guild’s players.
When Captain Don’t Open Fire saw Fearless’ ID, he hesitated for a moment before adding him into the group.
No matter what, Quan Zhen Sect was the strongest sect in Twilight City. Even if Captain Don’t Open Fire knew Quan Zhen Sect and Sanguine Alliance were in similar positions, he didn’t dare to ignore Fearless.
Otherwise, if they intentionally neglected Quan Zhen Sect, it would be equivalent to declaring war against them.
When the time came and Quan Zhen Sect started a fight because of this, Captain Don’t Open Fire wouldn’t be able to explain himself either. With Quan Zhen Sect’s reputation, they would ensure payback.
As for Captain Don’t Open Fire pulling him into the group, Twilight City’s guild leaders weren’t surprised either. The reason they chose to attack Void Blade was to bring the situation to this point.
Seeing that Twilight City’s guild leaders had gathered, Captain Don’t Open Fire cleared his throat and greeted, “Fellow guild leaders, how are you doing?”
“Great!” 2012 responded first, before he began his attack. “Captain, if you don’t mind me saying this, how could you do this? We’re fellow brothers in battle; how could you hire outsiders to your battle?”
The others added on, “That’s right! Captain, if you don’t make them leave, don’t blame us for being harsh.”
“Sigh…” Captain Don’t Open Fire let out a sigh. “Guild leaders, you’re absolutely right. But we didn’t have a choice. The Sanguine Alliance’s power is tremendous. Is there anyone from Twilight City who dares to offend them?”
“That’s true.” All of them nodded in response.
“Coughs!”
Fearless let out a loud cough.

“Uh…” Seeing that Fearless was in the chat too, they added, “Of course, that’s aside from Quan Zhen Sect.”
“That’s right!”
Captain Don’t Open Fire responded, “Void Blade isn’t the Quan Zhen Sect. Now that Sanguine Alliance has attacked us first, there’s no way we can fight back. We only scouted outsiders because we had no other choice. How about you help us, guild leaders?”
“Haha, the moon looks bright today.”
“That’s right, the sun looked great last night, too.”
Hearing that, everyone acted dumb. If you two great sects were out to fight to the death, why would we send ourselves to our deaths?
Captain Don’t Open Fire knew that these b*stards wouldn’t help from the start. So, he added, “That’s why I hope that you can treat this matter justly and stay out of it.”
When they heard these words, everyone knew he was about to hand out the money. Void Blade was a large guild that was a step lower than Sanguine Alliance. That was why they were just waiting to take the money before they left. As for Captain Don’t Open Fire’s words, nobody dared to refute it.
After all, a starved camel is bigger than a horse. Void Blade couldn’t defeat Sanguine Alliance. Destroying small sects like them would take no more than a few minutes.
However, Fearless chipped in. “If you say that, it’s like we’re holding you back.”
“Wha-what? That’s not true!” Seeing that Fearless had spoken up, Captain Don’t Open Fire responded hurriedly, “Void Blade just wants a fair battle between the guilds. We hope Boss Fearless wouldn’t interfere in this matter together with the Quan Zhen Sect.”
“Relax!” Fearless continued, “Everyone understands what the Quan Zhen Sect is like. We only fight for justice.”

“Ugh… I can’t believe he dares to say that!” everyone muttered quietly to themselves.
Soon after, Fearless continued, “If nobody offends the Quan Zhen Sect, we will never cross paths with them. However, if someone dares to do so, don’t blame us for being harsh.”
“That’s right!” Captain Don’t Open Fire nodded. “Quan Zhen Sect’s great name resounds in Twilight City. I believe there isn’t a single person who would be dumb enough to offend you.”
“That’s great!” Fearless responded in satisfaction. “Send the conciliation money to my mail!”
With that, Fearless left the group chat.
After Fearless’ words, the group fell into an awkward silence. Even though they knew that they came for the money, saying it aloud made it feel exposed.
It was fortunate that Captain Don’t Open Fire broke the silence at a critical moment like this. “Boss Fearless is right. We’ve brought external players and created lots of trouble for you. We’ll be handing you conciliation fees as a token of our apology. I hope you’ll stay out of this matter. If any of you would like to help Void Blade in the name of justice, you can expect appropriate consideration as well.”
One had to say, a person with lined pockets was stable. Captain Don’t Open Fire’s words were clear.
As long as you don’t interfere, I’ll pay you. However, if you want to help, I’ll pay you accordingly!
Money was definitely a great item. Everyone played the game for the money.
Once they heard that Void Blade was hiring, the guild leaders stirred.
With 2012 at the lead of shamelessness, he responded, “Captain, what are you talking about? Working for justice is part of Twilight City’s tradition! The Sanguine Alliance is ridiculous. How can they do whatever they want? We’ve always wanted to remove such horrible people. If you don’t think our guild is too small, we’re willing to help.”
“Thank you all for your support!” Captain Don’t Open Fire saw that the matter was settled so easily. A satisfied smile spread out on his face.
…
“The Sanguine Alliance did it this time.” On the rooftop of the church, Fearless couldn’t help but exclaim after he left the group chat.
“Oh? What is it?”
Quan Zhen Sect members asked curiously.
Fearless continued, “Just as we expected, Captain Don’t Open Fire is splurging his wealth like a shattered piggy bank. The Sanguine Alliance must be suffering now.”
“That can’t be!” Ming Du rubbed his chin. “Doesn’t the Sanguine Alliance have 20,000 back-up troops?”
“Hmph!” Fearless smirked coldly. “Did you really think Captain Don’t Open Fire uses his wealth to make Twilight City step aside? I believe the other guilds have already stepped onto Void Blade’s ship by now.”
“Sii…”
Hearing Fearless’ words, Quan Zhen Sect members sucked in a cold breath.
Alright, Captain Don’t Open Fire sounded like an idiot, but he was truly ruthless to have delivered Sanguine Alliance a hand like this.
No matter how many players Sanguine Alliance had, they only had 30,000 members. With Void Blade’s current power, they could single-handedly suppress half of Sanguine Alliance’s numbers.
If the other guilds joined Void Blade in their cause, they would meet a horrid fight drowned with people.
30,000 people sounded like a huge number. However, in front of more than 100,000 members from Twilight City, they meant nothing.
It seemed like Sanguine Alliance would be thoroughly eliminated this time.
“No way!”
After learning about Captain Don’t Open Fire’s plans, Wang Yu was astonished over Captain Don’t Open Fire’s ruthlessness. He stood up and announced, “Looks like this matter won’t end so simply. I’ll have to make an appearance.”

I hope you can find enjoyment in it nonetheless.
