That guy had a similar height to Wang Yu and his body was covered in red flames while holding flame balls in his hands, looking really cool.

Evil Rampage had a sudden realisation the moment he saw Raging Flames Monarch’s attributes.

D*mn it, a Level 80 Obsidian Magic BOSS… It was no wonder no one else dared to mine this area.

If the Assassins were the king in the earlier stages of the game, then Magicians would be the Emperor today. Magical BOSS was not an exception.

Especially for the new version of high-level BOSS, their AOE magic attacks damage were astonishing. It would not be an exaggeration to describe this kind of BOSSES as being able to kill with a flick of their finger.

In the age of players having an average level of 50, it would not be this bad if a BOSS of this level was of another job, but fighting a Magic type BOSS was like humans against nuclear weapons… Sacrificion would be meaningless.

Raging Flames Monarch raised his arm as the flames from his arm turned into flaming snakes which surged towards Fearless.

He was indeed a smart BOSS to pick on the weakest out of all. Out of the three of them, only Fearless was a supporting job.

Fearless felt so wronged for being attacked even though it was Evil Rampage’s idea to scrape the mine.

Even though Fearless felt that way, he did not keep his hands free and raised his staff as a Holy Light Shield then appeared on his head.

“Boom!”

The Holy Light Shield had the best defence effect and the fire snake disappeared after hitting Fearless.

Fearless was pushed back by the force of the flaming snake as he stopped beside Evil Rampage.

“Leave first!” Evil Rampage grabbed Fearless and threw him into the sky and Fearless flew four-five metres up.

Fearless spread his wings and flew towards the sky.

Raging Flames Monarch was clearly not capable of flying but he was not planning to let Fearless go at all. He closed his palms together and a crow covered in flames chased after Fearless.

Seeing Fearless chased by a crow, Wang Yu was not worried either. Fearless was an expert, and it made sense if he could not defeat a BOSS, but if he could not even defeat a monster summoned by the BOSS, he deserved to die.

After doing all that, Raging Flames Monarch waved his hands and the flames in his hand turned into a long whip that went for Wang Yu who was closest to himself.

Though Raging Flames Monarch was a Magic-type BOSS, his agility was not low at all. His whip went straight for Wang Yu’s forehead.

Wang Yu tilted his body slightly to the side and dodged the whip, then jumped straight at Raging Flames Monarch, throwing a punch before he could react.

“Boom!”

A loud thud was heard and Wang Yu’s punch landed on Raging Flames Monarch’s head.

Raging Flames Monarch’s head shook and the flames fell with a red number for HP lost that floated into the air. The flames on Raging Flames Monarch’s body became darker as well.

“Roar!!”

Raging Flames Monarch did not expect his opponent to be this strong and able to fight him directly from the front. He created flames after being shocked and the flames in his hands turned into a pair of arm armour before punching them towards Wang Yu.

Magic-type BOSSES were strong because nobody could withstand the damage from their magic attacks and even Wang Yu might not be able to do so.

However, high attack damage output was not a threat to Wang Yu because nothing would happen if it couldn’t hit him.

Compared to the computerised monsters, Raging Flames Monarch only had a slightly higher IQ than them as an Obsidian BOSS. A magic-type BOSS using melee attacks when they were good at long-range attacks? Was his brain-damaged?

Even a Level 80 melee Obsidian BOSS would not stand a chance against Wang Yu.

Facing Raging Flames Monarch’s punch, Wang Yu did not move a single step but instead lowered his head and threw a [Rising Dragon Fist] straight up onto Raging Flames Monarch’s chin.

As a high-level BOSS that could exempt 80% of attack damage, Wang Yu’s punch forced him back by a few steps.

After stunning Raging Flames Monarch, Wang Yu pushed Raging Flames Monarch’s shoulders with both hands which made Raging Flames Monarch lean backwards. Then, he used [Thunder God’s Stomp] and kicked in between Raging Flames Monarch’s legs.

The devastated Raging Flames Monarch roared as he was stomped into the gap.
