《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 1395. Compensation

“Nothing!” Fearless said with a smile after sensing Black Dragon King’s confusion, “There is no way I will let you leave right after a war!”
(Boson will basically be translating the entire conversation.)
“Tsk!” Black Dragon King sneered and said, “This is between Black Dragon Guild and Sanguine Alliance. Are you guys still not satisfied after benefiting from our dispute? What a huge appetite you have! If not for Sanguine Alliance, you guys would not have gotten this so easily!”
Black Dragon King was someone who could not tolerate his losses and his words were telling Fearless that no matter how strong Quan Zhen Sect was, they were just a small team and the only reason why they could get what they achieved this time because of Sanguine Alliance’s involvement.
“Oh?” Fearless said calmly, “I’m afraid that you are not aware that Saga City is Twilight City’s affiliated city?”
“Affiliated city?” Black Dragon King was shocked, “You are Twilight City’s City Lord?”
As the ruler of the Immortal Islands, it was impossible for Black Dragon King to not know what an affiliated city meant.
Black Dragon King knew that Sanguine Alliance and Quan Zhen Sect were from Twilight City, and hence it was normal for him to feel surprised by Quan Zhen Sect’s ability to be the City Lord of Twilight City.
“Not me! The Pugilist who killed you is!” Fearless said.
“That Pugilist…”
Black Dragon King felt a chill down his spine as Wang Yu’s frightening image appeared in his mind.
F*ck, that was a tough guy. Judging from the way he took the seal, it did not seem like his first time doing that. Maybe he really was the City Lord of Twilight City?
Now that Black Dragon King was at a disadvantaged position, he could not refute anything that Fearless said, especially after Fearless mentioned Wang Yu. Therefore, he had to force himself to believe everything Fearless said..

“So what do you want?” Black Dragon King questioned.
“No rush! Let’s wait for someone before we begin!”
After saying that, Fearless came down from the roof slowly and waved his hands. The guards outside the resurrection point raised their spears high, surrounding the whole resurrection point, preventing the Black Dragon Guild players from leaving.
After a few minutes, Sanguine Warflag and Sanguine Alliance appeared at Yamatai City’s teleportation formation and ran to the resurrection point hurriedly.
“Bosses!” Sanguine Warflag dashed to Quan Zhen Sect when he saw them and started shaking their hands one by one excitedly.
It was obvious that Sanguine Warflag was genuinely grateful for Quan Zhen Sect.
After all, if not for Quan Zhen Sect’s aid, Sanguine Alliance would have been doomed for. Not only would they have failed to protect Saga City, all of them might have even been killed by Black Dragon guild.
That would the same as being uprooted…
Sanguine Warflag’s income depended on the guild, and if those things really happened, he might not be able to make a comeback ever again.
Quan Zhen Sect saved Sanguine Alliance away from the brink of death and that was a very good reason for Sanguine Warflag’s gratitude.
“Where is God Bull?” Sanguine Warflag looked around after shaking their hands.
Iron Bull was the one that Sanguine Warflag was the most appreciative of.
“On the roof!” Fearless pointed to the roof and Wang Yu was sitting there, looking afar and obviously uninterested in anything Fearless was about to do.
That was perhaps what they call the expert’s loneliness.
“Hey, Brother Bull!” Sanguine Warflag waved at Wang Yu.
Wang Yu looked at Sanguine Warflag and merely acknowledged his greetings.
Sanguine Warflag knew that though Wang Yu looked unapproachable, he was very honest with his words and was loyal. Hence, Sanguine Warflag did not feel mistreated by Wang Yu and turned to Fearless and asked, “Boss Fearless, why did you call me here for?”

“Hehe!” Fearless smiled and continued, “Now that war is over, shouldn’t we start discussing compensation? We cannot let my men die for nothing, right?”
Before Sanguine Warflag could speak, Fearless turned to Black Dragon King and said, “This is the leader of Sanguine Alliance, Sanguine Warflag! This should be your first time meeting each other!”
“…” Black Dragon King looked at Sanguine Warflag without a word, and could not hide his look of despise.
Even though Black Dragon Guild lost, Black Dragon King did not once think that he lost to Sanguine Alliance, because he felt that Sanguine Alliance merely won by luck. Black Dragon King had always looked down on people that depended on their luck from the bottom of his heart.
Sanguine Warflag was observant and after seeing Black Dragon King’s expression, he scolded, “Who the f*ck is this? He seems pretty arrogant!”
Fearless introduced, “He is the leader of Black Dragon Guild! Hey, what is your name by the way?” Fearless raised his chin at Black Dragon King.
“…”
Black Dragon King’s blood was boiling after he realised that he was defeated by someone who did not even know his name.
“Black Dragon King!” Black Dragon King replied with dissatisfaction.
“F*ck! So you’re the b*stard!” Sanguine Warflag was so infuriated after hearing that the person in front of him was the leader of Black Dragon Guild that he was about to shoot Black Dragon King with his gun.
Fearless walked to the both of them immediately and said, “Let bygones be bygones, there is no point fighting again! Now that all of us are here, how about we convert the hatred into money? Isn’t that wonderful?”
“…”
Sanguine Warflag and Black Dragon King became speechless at what Fearless just said.
What a thing to say! A person like Fearless was definitely wasting his talent playing this game.
Indeed, there was nothing that money couldn’t solve in Quan Zhen Sect’s eyes. If there was something, it would then be a matter of giving more money to solve it.
Putting everything aside, Wang Yu was once like that when he was facing troubles as well.
Sanguine Warflag was the benefitting party would, therefore, not have any objections to Fearless’s suggestion.
Black Dragon King was a businessman, and knew that he had to accept his loss if he decided to bet. It made total sense for Fearless to raise this issue up and Black Dragon King did not have any issues with it either.
As a leader of a few hundred thousand players, Black Dragon King spoke boldly, “How should I compensate you?”
“…”
Fearless did not speak and looked at Sanguine Warflag instead.
The players who died and the expenditures were from Sanguine Alliance. Therefore, they should be the ones deciding how much compensation should be given to them.
