《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 1357. All's Fair In War

Even though Fearless had played it out well, the bunch from Assassin Monarch naturally weren’t fools either.
The number of expert teams in the game was limited. In order for Assassin Monarch to be able to be ranked on par with Quan Zhen Sect, they definitely boasted more than just their fighting strength.
At the end of the day, Assassin Monarch was still a group comprised of experts. Even though they did not watch the tournament, given Wang Yu’s current fame, it was impossible for the people from Assassin Monarch to have not heard of him. Thus, they would naturally not let their guard down either.
After knowing that the City Lord Seal was in Wang Yu’s hands, the people from Assassin Monarch had done their own preparation and dug up all of the information on Wang Yu and Quan Zhen Sect.
After all, the people from Quan Zhen Sect weren’t exactly very low key in their actions, and Wang Yu did not intentionally hide himself either.
It should be known that Wang Yu was extremely famous in Twilight City, finding information about him wasn’t difficult at all… Within a night, the people from Assassin Monarch even knew how Wang Yu’s wife looked like.
Knowing the enemy was an extremely crucial step in the preparation phase of every expert team.
As a professional player, playing the game was equivalent to working. The next day, Wang Yu logged in exactly at 8 am in the morning.
The moment he came on, Wang Yu received a message from Fearless saying, “Be careful when you leave, there may be people ambushing you!”
Upon reading Fearless’ message, Wang Yu merely smiled and closed the chatbox, not putting what Fearless had said to heart…
If you were as overbearing as Wang Yu, would you be worried about a few random players ambushing you in your hometown?
This was the confidence that a top tier expert had. Everyone here likely wasn’t an expert themselves, and thus might not understand how Wang Yu was feeling.
According to his usual routine, the moment Wang Yu came online, the first thing he did was to open up the daily dungeon tab…
Yesterday, Wang Yu went offline in Harbor City. Thus, the next thing he did was to head over to Twilight City to wait for the members from Quan Zhen Sect to come online.

However, when Wang Yu was approaching the teleportation point, a familiar figure suddenly appeared in front of him.
This person was Mu Zi Xian. The current Mu Zi Xian was looking around at the teleportation point, seeming as if she was looking for someone.
Upon seeing Mu Zi Xian appearing here, Wang Yu wasn’t surprised at all.
Harbor City was a trading city. Knowing that such a gold mine existed, Wang Yu naturally wouldn’t give such an opportunity to an outsider. Thus, when he logged off yesterday, he told Mu Zi Xian to set up a larger branch store here in Harbor City.
Mu Zi Xian’s business was prospering, and she even complained about the lack of space in her store. Wang Yu’s offer for her to expand her business into Harbor City was an extremely timely gift for her. Thus, both of them had arranged to meet up in the game in the morning to open up her branch shop.
However, on usual days, Mu Zi Xian would still be doing the housework at such a timing.
Of course, there should be absolute trust between a husband and a wife. Everyone knew that Wang Yu was someone that doted on his wife. Thus, upon seeing Mu Zi Xian appearing in the teleportation point, Wang Yu did not suspect anything and instead, hurriedly went forward to embrace her shoulder and said, “Dear wife, why are you online so early today? Shouldn’t you go and get some more rest.”
“…”
While being embraced by Wang Yu, the moment that Mu Zi Xian heard the way Wang Yu addressed her, her face immediately flushed a little. She replied unnaturally, “En! We’re rushing for time anyway.”
Even though Wang Yu wasn’t a petty person, he wasn’t one to miss out on any small details either. Thus, Wang Yu felt a little strange, seeing how unusual Mu Zi Xian behaved today. However, he also knew that women had a few days every month during which they would behave differently from usual. Therefore, Wang Yu did not bother too much about it. He waved his hands and replied in a gentle tone, “There’s no need to rush, I have plenty of time. Come, let me take you around the new city!”
As he was speaking, Wang Yu pulled onto Mu Zi Xian’s hand and was about to head into the direction of the city.

At this moment, Mu Zi Xian abruptly shrugged off Wang Yu’s hand and asked in disbelief, “This city is really yours?”
“Of course!”
Even though he put up an extremely mature front in front of the others, when in the presence of Mu Zi Xian, Wang Yu was extremely childish. He proudly pointed towards Harbor City behind him and mimicked the main character in those TV dramas, saying, “This is what this king has fought for you…”
“F*ck!”
Mu Zi Xian couldn’t help but twitch her mouth in disdain.
Upon seeing Mu Zi Xian’s expression, Wang Yu thought that his wife wasn’t impressed by such a feat. He started bragging once more and said, “To be honest with you, I have another City Lord Seal with me, but I’m currently unable to use it. Otherwise, I would be the City Lord of three cities.”
“Is that so?”
Mu Zi Xian eyed Wang Yu suspiciously and said, “Take it out and show me!”
“Why are you acting so strangely today?” Upon seeing the way Mu Zi Xian talked to him, Wang Yu couldn’t help but scratch the back of his head in confusion.
Mu Zi Xian hurriedly replied, “Stop bullsh*tting, don’t tell me all those were just empty words?”
“Am I that kind of a person?” Following which, Wang Yu casually took out the Saga City City Lord Seal and tossed it over to Mu Zi Xian.
“Hmm…”
After Mu Zi Xian glanced at the City Lord Seal in her hands, she nodded her head in satisfaction. All of a sudden, she pointed behind Wang Yu and said in shock, “What’s that?”
“???”
Upon hearing what Mu Zi Xian said, Wang Yu hurriedly turned his head around.
At this moment, with a flip of her hand, Mu Zi Xian kept the City Lord Seal in her inventory and swiftly took a few steps back into the teleportation point.
While Wang Yu was still brooding over what had caught Mu Zi Xian’s attention, he suddenly heard a woman’s laughter behind him, “Haha! Dear husband, do I still look like your wife now?”
“!!!”
Wang Yu turned his head back aggressively, only to see Mu Zi Xian reaching to her face and pulling off a layer of skin on it, revealing the face of another woman.
The face of that woman was sharp and had perfect eyebrows and teeth, appearing extremely stunning. Her figure was extremely well proportioned and would leave a lasting impression on anyone that looked at it. Who else could this person be other than Scarless?
“Who are you?”
After knowing that he was played for a fool, Wang Yu was shocked for a moment before he immediately became enraged. With a slap of his left hand, a ray of white light flew towards Scarless.
However, at this moment, Scarless had already activated the teleportation formation and vanished into a ray of light right in front of Wang Yu.
Upon seeing this, Wang Yu instantly activated [Arrow Step] and entered the teleportation point as well.
Don’t be fooled by the number of people that Wang Yu had killed. As a Martial Artist Grandmaster, Wang Yu’s heart was as firm as a mountain. There was rarely anything in this world that could shake his spirit.
The only weakness that Wang Yu had in his heart was Mu Zi Xian!
Even though Wang Yu knew that the person who scammed the City Lord Seal away wasn’t Mu Zi Xian, Scarless’ act of impersonating Mu Zi Xian had touched the bottom line of Wang Yu. Thus, the usually emotionless Wang Yu was truly enraged this time round.
With a flash of white light, Wang Yu was teleported back to Twilight City. However, Twilight City was ultimately different from Harbor City.
Harbor City was currently still an empty city. Previously, there weren’t any other players there apart from Wang Yu and Scarless. After Quan Zhen Sect had won the professional league, however, the number of players in Twilight City had drastically increased. Thus, there were a lot of players at the teleportation point.
In the blink of an eye, Scarless had already been lost within the sea of players.
At this moment, Fearless finally came online. The first thing that he did was to send a message to Wang Yu in high spirits, saying, “Old Bull, have you dealt with those trash yet?”
Just when he sent out the message to Wang Yu, he immediately received a reply saying, “The Saga City City Lord Seal has been swindled away!”

The Ancient Core: A Progression Fantasy
The title of [The Ancient One] is bestowed upon an unassuming, forgotten Core. Hidden deep underground, it lies in wait, biding its time as it learns the rules of its surroundings. Roaming beasts and unknown threats surely threaten the little rock as it sticks to the darkness, its one true refuge. This is a slow-burning Dungeon-Core fiction with a LitRPG-System. You can expect an extreme amount of kingdom-building, an more in-depth Mana-System, and a Evolution-System. Chapters are between the length of 2-4k words, though the first 50 will likely be closer to 4k. Anything after will have the average be 2.5k. I personally like explaining how things work a lot, so do have that in mind if you decide to read this fiction. In Umbra Hasta
A blue marble floated in the unending void. On that marble, billions went about their lives, unaware that somewhere else, something had changed. Some requirement was met, and suddenly, a new type of energy saturated the universe. A mother closed her car's door and lifted a bag of groceries in an arm before vanishing into nothingness. Across the world, a teenager disappeared mid-word from a conversation with friends. In eastern America, Captain Octavius J. Asher of the US Army vanished from a mountain trail with no witnesses. People all over the Earth disappeared simultaneously. Such a thing would normally cause mass panic across the globe were it not for the fact that there wasn't a single person left on the globe to panic. Congratulations! Your universe has joined the System. Note: I wanted to read another litrpg apocalypse novel but couldn't find one. Thus, I decided to write one. The MC will be strong for a human but insignificant on a cosmic scale. No destroying worlds with a spell on chapter 25 in this novel. He will face challenges and be forced to make hard decisions. This serial now on hiatus for the time being :( Please rate and review. Constructive criticism is welcome!
