《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 1341. To Lure The Opponent Away

Saga City’s players were people who were used to getting bullied. After Ming Du’s attack, all of them understood what he meant.
Ming Du was telling everyone with his actions, “You will get paid if you follow me, but die if you don’t.”
Between money and death, the choice to be made was obvious.
The players sighed and stayed unwillingly.
This was the sorrow of ordinary players. Without skills and a huge organisation behind their backs, they could only fight for their own survival without having the freedom of choice at all.
If this happens in a game, we can expect the same in real life.
After signing a contract with the players forcefully, Ming Du exclaimed excitedly, “Wow, another 28 players… I now have a total of 50 people under me!”
“How’s that possible!” Boson exclaimed with surprise, “You don’t even know Japanese and the only thing you can do is to raise the signboard. How can you be faster than me?”
“Tsk!” Ming Du replied with disdain, “This requires some strategies!”
“Tsk, tsk, tsk…” After seeing Ming Du’s words, Wang Yu thought: This should be called threatening rather than strategy.
Ming Du started showing off again, “How many did you get, Brother Spring? An old person like you shouldn’t be able to recruit more than ten, right?”
“F*ck off!” Spring Halo stopped talking after replying to Ming Du in a fierce manner. It was clear that what Ming Du said had hit the right spot on Spring Halo’s wounds.
Ming Du got even prouder after seeing Spring Halo’s reaction and continued dissing the rest of the people, “All of you rubbish…”
Just when Ming Du was still feeling good about himself, Frost Blade asked coldly, “Old Meng, how many did you get?”
“About a hundred?” Ling Longmeng said calmly, “Little Snow is reaching 150…”
“F*ck! That’s fast!” Frost Blade sent a surprised emoji.

After what Ling Longmeng said, Ming Du exclaimed with suspicion, “Impossible! How could you guys do it so fast?”
“Hmph!” Ling Longmeng sneered and replied, “Such things depend on your attractiveness!”
“…”
Ming Du blanked out for a while before scolding, “Damn it, a bunch of Japanese dogs!”
Appearance was everything. No matter how good Ming Du’s tricks were, it was incomparable to the number of people these two pretty ladies could recruit.
Wang Yu was very confused by the conversations in the group and asked, “Why are you guys recruiting so many people?”
“Tsk!” Ming Du said, “City Lord Karl is trapped in the prison held by the Black Dragon Guild. We have to break into the prison to save him so we need people to be our cannon fodders… Oh, I mean to be the frontline to help us lure the guards away.”
“Oh… No wonder.” Wang Yu understood.
Wang Yu was clearer than anyone about the abilities of guards. These incredible existences were not to be underestimated.
Fortunately, they did not have any IQ so the simplest tricks would lure them away from their base. It was a good idea for the Saga City’s players to lure the guards away.
However, what Wang Yu did not understand was why was there a need for that many players to lure guards away. Did they think that the Black Dragon Guild was dead for them to make such a high profile move?
Wang Yu asked, “Where’s Fearless?”
“He went to explore the terrain,” Boson replied.
“Oh, really?” Wang Yu touched his chin and sent a message to Fearless, “What are you up to again?”
Fearless was someone who had everything planned out in his head and would not be unaware of the flaw of the mission. According to Wang Yu’s understanding of Fearless, he knew that the plan to lure the opponents away was fake. There must be something else to the plan.

“Hehe!” Fearless replied Wang Yu, “Come to coordinates 1411, 2214. Don’t disclose this!”
“So mysterious?”
Wang Yu was slightly dazed after receiving Fearless’s message.
Curiosity was part of everyone and Wang Yu was not an exception. The more mysterious Fearless made it to be, the more Wang Yu wanted to check it out.
“I’ll be there in a jiffy!”
Wang Yu went to where Fearless was after giving a quick reply.
Saga City was a main city that was just a little bigger than a town. Though Wang Yu was unfamiliar with this place, it only took about ten minutes for Wang Yu to fly to the top of a valley.
Fearless was on the valley, looking down.
“Hey, what are you doing here?” Wang Yu kept his wings and landed beside Fearless.
Fearless pointed to the valley and replied without turning his head, “This road is the only way to get to Yamatai City!”
“Yamatai City? Where is that?” Wang Yu asked with curiosity.
“That is Black Dragon Guild’s main base! 80% of Black Dragon Guild’s players gather there!” Fearless said calmly.
“Don’t tell me that you are planning to destroy the Black Dragon Guild completely?”
Wang Yu did not know how to respond to what Fearless had said.
Even though Fearless looked like he was good for nothing, he was surprisingly daring. In those days, he was the only one out of the six of them in Quan Zhen Sect who dared to challenge Terminator Manor. With the few hundred people that Quan Zhen Sect gathered, Wang Yu would not even be surprised if Fearless wanted to conquer the world.
“Nonono!” Fearless waved his hands and said, “We cannot trust Saga City’s players. Our end goal is to lure the opponent out of his territory.”
“Lure them out?” Wang Yu frowned and continued “You found that many people just to lure the guards away? It’s not like the Black Dragon Guild players were there just for show.”
Although Wang Yu was all brawn, his intelligence had to be on a different level for him to be able to train his martial arts to this level. Wang Yu got a clear picture of the current situation.
Even if the guards were lured away successfully and Karl got out of prison, that was only a small step of their success.
Even if there were little players in Saga City, Black Dragon Guild’s scale was about tens of thousands. The players that Quan Zhen Sect players gathered were people that were used to getting bullied by Black Dragon Guild, and they would not resist when they were faced with Black Dragon Guild players.
No matter how fierce were Quan Zhen Sect players, they would not be able to make it out of Saga City while being surrounded by tens of thousands of players and having Karl with them.
“I know that they are not just for show!” Fearless smiled.
“So why are you doing this?” Wang Yu got even more confused.
“Because the people I’m luring away are not the guards but the Black Dragon Guild?”
“Black Dragon Guild?”
“That’s right!” Fearless said, “I am certain that the Black Dragon Guild players will bring Karl though this path.”
“Why?” Wang Yu curled his lips.
Why would Black Dragon Guild, who had over ten thousand players, bring Karl away just because they were faced with a few hundred players?
“Hmph, hmph!” Fearless said with confidence, “Because of their overlord mindset and them not knowing our ultimate goal!”
“Hmm…”
Wang Yu got a clearer picture in his mind after hearing Fearless out.
After Wang Yu got a clear picture of his strategy, Fearless said, “So you just have to stay and guard this place!”

A Fate Shaped by Magick
This fiction was (and is) published on fanfiction dot net under the same title; though as I slowly transfer it to here, I am editing and smoothing it. This story takes place in the Elder Scrolls (TES) Universe mostly ending up in Morrowind. This is a slice of life meant to answer the questions of how (in the TES universe) do mages study and learn, and exploring some of the in-game differences between TES 2 and 3. This book has minimal spoilers for the Morrowind main quest and does not fully explore it. If you think that giant insects would make cool pets - if you like the idea of exploring magic NOT intended simply as killing something better, faster or more gore-ridden, then come on in and enjoy.

And it ended thusly just aswell, t'was the great Empire's deathknell. The crackling of the burning books, dangling corpses on rusty hooks. The yellow streets of Heabury proper, colored red with human copper. -? S.V, Scholar of Dawn.' -- Author note: Hi, SeV here. I'm not a fan of writing my entire story premise in the synopsis. For that, read the prologue and chapter 1. Suffice it to say that I think it's a cool idea and I already have a few things planned and a world sort of formed in my mind. I like Epic fantasy, lightnovels with OP MCs, Litrpg, sci-fi, any many other things. This story is written for myself, so it may include all sorts of diffent elements and character interactions and even experimental things that I'm trying out as a writer in order to improve. My intention with this is to pretty much post as I write, and acquire feedback from you folks in the process. I of course hope you like my story, but feel free to criticize anything since this is a project to improve myself. Even if it isn't strictly criticism, any feedback positive or negative is welcome since I am interested in what other people think of my writing style and what I can improve on. Since it's growing generically I'll be interested in your thoughts and speculations on future events and any suggestions moving forward will be taken into consideration. Hope you enjoy my stuff. - SeV
