The finals had always been the most exciting day of the competition which was why the place would be bustling… Some people were even willing to stand if it meant that they could watch the competition live with everyone else.

Following the traditions, the teams appeared on stage as the host introduced them.

The remaining four teams were Carefree Squad, Team A Murder Of Crows, Kyushu Squad and Heavenly Dragon Squad.

Heavenly Dragon Squad and Carefree Squad were both old names in the professional ring but this was also their first time in the top four.

Kyushu Squad was the industry’s model and only a person like Wang Yu wouldn’t know them.

Team A Murder Of Crows was the only amateur team who had cut their way through thistles and thorns to reach here. The spectators were still shocked that among all the experts, they actually managed to make it into the top four.

Soon after, the four teams went to their seats and Nine Solitary Spears’ Heavenly Dragon Squad was situated right next to Wang Yu and the rest.

Nine Solitary Spears winked at Fearless as he greeted, “We’ve had an agreement so make sure you don’t lie to me.”

Fearless swung his hands in a frustrated manner, “I got it! I got it! Stop bothering me!”

When Tranquility Yields Transcendence saw what happened, he asked, “Hey! What are the two of you talking about? Why are you being so sneaky?”

“Hehe!” Nine Solitary Spears smiled, “Yesterday, I made an agreement with the Quan Zhen Sect and today, they will make sure we don’t face Kyushu Squad in the first round. Carefree Squad is not a team we should fear so we have secured the second place in this competition!”

“Make sure we don’t face Kyushu Squad in the first round?” Tranquility Yields Transcendence pondered for a moment before saying, “There is a chance you’ve been tricked!”

“Tricked?” Nine Solitary Spears replied confidently, “They won’t dare to do that! I have my conditions.”

Before Tranquility Yields Transcendence could explain further, the host called out, “The competition shall begin now!”

Following which, Wang Yu slapped his button and shouted, “Our squad wants to challenge Heavenly Dragon Squad!”

“Pfft!”

Hearing what Wang Yu said, Nine Solitary Spears almost vomited out blood. His finger was trembling as he pointed at Fearless without knowing what to say.

Fearless smiled and pushed his hand away, “That’s what I promised you! I will make sure you won’t meet Kyushu Squad in the first round but not only that, you won’t meet them in the second round too.”

“I…”

Nine Solitary Spears wanted to curse but eventually chose not to.

Nine Solitary Spears was not willing to fight the Quan Zhen Sect because of a frightening expert like Wang Yu. Hence, he still had a choice to reject the challenge. However, he thought about it and realised that it was more probable that they could defeat the Quan Zhen Sect than Kyushu Squad.

After all, there were only two frightening players from the Quan Zhen Sect. For the Kyushu Squad, every single one of their players was frightening.

After accepting the challenge, both teams entered the game.

The first match began.

Team A Murder Of Crows chose the map.

Wang Yu clicked on the elevated stage without hesitation and now had to choose the player to fight in the first round.

Tranquility Yields Transcendence announced to his team, “Let me go up first!”

Tranquility Yields Transcendence was the leading expert of Heavenly Dragon Squad. If he managed to start the match with a win, he would be able to boost the morale of the players behind.

“No way!” Nine Solitary Spears stood up and said, “I am the weakest so I should be up first!”

Ever since the amateur rounds, Team A Murder Of Crows had always started the match with Wang Yu and there was an eighty percent chance this would be the same. Nine Solitary Spears knew more than anyone else just how strong Wang Yu was. Therefore, they were definitely going to lose the first round.

Since they were going to lose, why should they sacrifice Tranquility Yields Transcendence? He would rather sacrifice himself.

On the Quan Zhen Sect side, Fearless pulled Wang Yu back just when he was about to go up on the stage. “You don’t have to go up for the first match.”

“Why not?” Wang Yu was confused, “Haven’t I been the one who fought first in the past?”

“Hehe!” Fearless smiled viciously, “Don’t you know the story about how Tian Ji races his horses? Spear Dog will definitely not send his expert up for the first match so it will be a waste for you to head up first. Frost Blade, you go!”

“Me?’ Frost Blade asked, “Are you sure?”

“Go ahead!” Fearless smiled, “It doesn’t matter whether we lose or win this match! Just enjoy yourself.”

Just when Fearless said that, two white lights flashed and Frost Blade and Nine Solitary Spears were sent up on stage.

When Nine Solitary Spears saw that his opponent was actually Frost Blade, he was dumbfounded. He stared at Frost Blade and asked, “Why are you here?”

“Why?” Frost Blade continued mocking, “Feeling scared?”

“Scared? F*ck you!” Nine Solitary Spears swung his spear against the ground as he shouted.

Frost Blade immediately pointed to Nine Solitary Spears and shouted, “Referee, he cursed!”

The referee showed a yellow card to Nine Solitary Spears which shut his mouth completely… He had no choice because the Quan Zhen Sect was as despicable as ever. If he was sent off the stage even before the actual fight, that would be incredibly embarrassing.

After the countdown, the match began! Frost Blade went into [Stealth] mode.

Frost Blade was merely an average expert who might cause trouble in the ring of amateurs. Fortunately, Frost Blade knew himself well so he knew that he had to make use of his job advantage.

There was nothing anybody could do about this. This was his job and he was merely using a skill without cheating or externally modifying anything.

Even though Nine Solitary Spears was Heavenly Dragon Squad’s leader, he was definitely not a fighter. In terms of strength, he was probably the same as the rest of the Quan Zhen Sect except Wang Yu and the few. In fact, he was probably only slightly stronger than Frost Blade.

However, Nine Solitary Spears was a Crusader with high attack and defence. He should have the advantage over an Assassin.

Once Frost Blade concealed himself, Nine Solitary Spears did not panic. Instead, he threw out a talisman on the ground and shouted, “Knight’s Brilliance!”

The talisman turned into a white haze which covered the entire elevated stage. Seconds later, the haze disappeared and the stage was left with a layer of white powder.

Not too far away from Nine Solitary Spears, there was a human silhouette covered with white powder moving backwards. If it wasn’t Frost Blade, who else could that be?
