Kyushu Squad’s second player was called Nine Deities Arrow. From the name, it wasn’t hard to tell that he was an Archer.

The wrestling ring map was not considered extremely big hence an Archer would have some advantages, even though it wasn’t significant.

However, Nine Deities Arrow was different. This fella had an odd-looking skateboard beneath his feet and held onto a peculiar crossbow. The crossbow had nine holes with an arrowhead exposed from each of the holes. The arrows were sparkling in blue radiance.

Spring Halo exclaimed, “This Archer is going to be a tough one.”

“No way.” Vainglory furrowed his brows, “This map has no clear advantage to an Archer.”

“What do you know!” Spring Halo pointed to Nine Deities Arrow’s arrows, “That fella’s arrows are clearly smeared with poison!”

“Smeared with poison?” Vainglory’s neck shrunk.

Damn it! This fella’s crossbow was evidently a weapon capable of covering a wide range. Who could confidently avoid nine arrows at one time?

To think that there would be such a treacherous player among Boundless Ocean’s men.

At the thought of this, Vainglory quickly turned to look at the players from Kyushu Squad.

That bunch of fellas remained indifferent as they were not worried about Nine Deities Arrow facing such a formidable opponent. It seemed like this bunch of fellas were pretty confident towards Nine Deities Arrow.

Looking at Nine Deities Arrow’s weird attire, Signature Sword Tower was slightly flabbergasted. After so many matches, this was the first time this weird fella appeared. Hence, Signature Sword Tower grew cautious.

Signature Sword Tower charged forward without saying anything.

After all, a close-combat job had to close up the distance at the first opportunity he got when facing an Archer. Otherwise, he would be at a great disadvantage if he ended up outside his range of attacks but within the range of an Archer.

Everyone was dazed when they saw an Archer taking out a shield.

Was he an Archer or a Guardian? Weren’t there restrictions in jobs? How can an Archer carry a shield?

Of course, Nine Deities Arrow was merely an Archer so Signature Sword Tower didn’t think he could block his [Charge] even with his shield. After all, the restrictions of jobs would ensure that an Archer with a shield wouldn’t be able to be as formidable as a Warrior.

Therefore, Signature Sword Tower continued to charge forward onto Nine Deities Arrow’s shield without giving it much thought.

As expected, Signature Sword Tower’s [Charge] was not an attack which Nine Deities Arrow could withstand. With a knock of this force, he was knocked several metres away.

However, Signature Sword Tower quickly came to a realisation. Wouldn’t he be sent flying if he was hit by a Warrior? Why was he merely knocked a few metres away?

Just when Signature Sword Tower was wondering how this happened, Nine Deities Arrow slapped his shield and a row of holes appeared on the shield. At the same time, a rectangular jag appeared on top of the row of holes.

Following which, Nine Deities Arrow pressed his odd-looking crossbow onto his shield.

“Ka!”

Once the bow was embedded onto the shield, the nine holes on the bow aligned perfectly with the holes on the shield.

Nine Deities Arrow aimed from behind the shield through the rectangular jag as he pulled the trigger.

A row of arrows with blue radiances flew towards Signature Sword Tower.

“This… What kind of plaything is this?”

Looking at the peculiar fighting style of Nine Deities Arrow, everyone was confused and amazed. This was their first time witnessing an Archer as weird as him.

Boundless Ocean and his men smiled faintly.

This was how Nine Deities Arrow differentiate himself from the rest. Nine Deities Arrow’s job was the strongest hidden branch job of the Archers – Mechanism Master.

Mechanism Master could manufacture, assemble and install all kinds of war equipment. Once a player had mastered the techniques to a certain level, he could even turn himself into Iron Man.

Even though this shield was the lowest level of war equipment, it was perfect and most appropriate to deal with Signature Sword Tower in this setting.

Looking at the arrows flying towards him, Signature Sword Tower was taken aback. He did a forward roll anxiously to avoid the arrows and arrived right in front of Nine Deities Arrow. He raised his sword almost immediately after his roll.

Signature Sword Tower’s sword slashed against Nine Deities Arrow’s shield and Nine Deities Arrow was once again forced back a few metres. He aimed downwards at Signature Sword Tower who was below him as another row of arrows flew out.

Signature Sword Tower jumped backwards frantically and succeeded in avoiding the attack.

At the same time, Wang Yu and co. also figured out Nine Deities Arrow’s fighting style.

This fella’s skateboard and his shield were a set.

Just how strong can an Archer’s shield be? But with the skateboard, he would be able to retreat backwards and dispelling the enemy’s tremendous force.

In this manner, Nine Deities Arrow did not even need to move himself. He was able to open up the distance between himself and the enemy just by making use of the opponent’s attacks.

Vainglory cried out, “You cannot hit him and cannot dodge his attacks? Doesn’t this make this fella invincible?”

“I see!” Once Vainglory learnt that, he started looking down on others, “Is that Warrior an idiot? Couldn’t he think of that point?”

“It is useless even if he thought of it.” Fearless interrupted, “Why do you think he can fight so fearlessly? It is essentially because his opponent is a Warrior.”

Indeed, the logic behind the plan to go behind him might be simple but a Warrior would find it extremely difficult to break free from this predicament. After all, a Warrior would never be able to match an Archer in terms of movement speed and height of jump. There was naturally no way for him to get behind his opponent.

“Aiyo!” Vainglory sighed, “If only he is an Assassin.”

Fearless shook his head, “We can’t be sure about that. Who knows if he has any specific equipment to deal with Assassins?”
