《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 1252. A Fierce Battles Between Giants

In the ring of professionals, everyone else other than the honest and upright fellas from Kingdom of Hell were old foxes. If Fearless could see through the little tricks of Black Sky Yellow Earth, it wouldn’t be hard for Boundless Ocean to see that.
In the face of Black Sky Yellow Earth’s provocation, Boundless Ocean turned to his players and told them, “Even if they are our old nemesis, we must not underestimate them.” Following which, he chose the arena.
Under the observations of ten thousand spectators, the white light flashed and players from both parties were sent to the arena.
Kyushu Squad’s first player was an Assassin with an ID called Sacred Mountain. He was also the deputy leader of Kyushu Squad, a core expert of the squad as well as had the reputation of being the number one Assassin in the country.
Assassins had always been the strongest job in a PK. For same level experts, an Assassin had always stood a higher chance of defeating their opponents simply based on their job advantages. As the number one Assassin in the country, Sacred Mountain’s abilities were naturally extraordinary. At least in >, this fella has never lost a single match which was why some people called him the Undefeatable Mountain too.
One must know that experts in the professional scenes were all of the same level. To accept such a title with grandiose was a display of Sacred Mountain’s incredible strength and gut.
The player sent out by Great Desolate Squad was Signature Sword Tower, a new Warrior in Great Desolate Squad. Since this was the first time he appeared, nobody knew much about him.
When Wang Yu saw Signature Sword Tower, he couldn’t help but turn to ask Evil Rampage, “Do you know this fella?”
Evil Rampage scratched his head, “He does look quite familiar.”
“What about you?” Wang Yu asked Yang Nuo.
Yang Nuo stared at Signature Sword Tower before replying cautiously, “Is he Ge Yunshen?”
“Ge Yunshen?”
Hearing Yang Nuo’s reply, Evil Rampage responded, “This name sounds very familiar too. Which Ge Yunshen?”

“The one from Divine Sword Sect.” Wang Yu touched his chin and said, “Who would have thought that this fella played this game too? And to participate in the professional tournament as well.”
“So it is him. No wonder he looks so familiar!” Evil Rampage nodded his head.
Ge Yunshen was not a simple man as the senior apprentice of the Divine Sword Sect. After successfully learning everything he could, he drifted to places as he wished and the first place he went to was the Wang Family.
The Divine Sword Sect was not some reputable sect which was why Wang Yu’s father considered Ge Yunshen to be not worthy of his time. However, this fella actually stayed at the entrance of the house for three nights which resulted in the eventual agreement of Old Wang to spar with him.
The outcome was obvious as he was beaten up by Old Wang… In the end, this fella did not want to concede defeat and came up with the excuse that he didn’t have the energy after starving for the three nights. He insisted on having a full meal before competing with Old Wang once more.
Old Wang was a reputable man so he was naturally unwilling to have a rematch with him. Therefore, he got Wang Yu to replace him and Wang Yu chased him out of the Wang Family with a willow branch. Wang Yu was only 14 years old that year.
In the end, everyone was convinced that this fella had no money to have a meal so he used such a tactic to freeload a full meal.
Of course, the comparison of abilities was dependent on who you were competing with. Ge Yunshen was naturally not a match for Wang Yu and his father. However, the fact that this fella could become the number one expert of the Divine Sword Sect at such a young age was evidence of his talent.
In fact, Evil Rampage might not have a clear shot of victory when faced up against this fella.
Great Desolate Squad was indeed devious enough to plan an unexpected surprise for the opponent in the very first match.

…
At the same time, Frost Blade came over, “The casino is open! Sacred Mountain 1:1, Signature Sword Tower 1:5. Does anyone want to place his bet?”
Fearless and the rest complained, “Bet your head! Sacred Mountain is an old and experienced expert who will definitely win this round. I will not even make money with the odds at 1:1 and I risk losing money too? I’m not going to bet!”
“Hehe!” Evil Rampage chuckled, “Frost, come over here! I will bet!”
“How much?” Frost Blade asked.
Evil Rampage took out a money pouch as he said, “A small wager for delight! I’ll bet ten thousand gold first.”
“F*ck!” Everyone was speechless. Ten thousand gold was considered a small wager? He was indeed rich on a whole new level.
Frost Blade took over the money and said, “Ten thousand gold on Sacred Mountain!”
Evil Rampage quickly corrected him, “Who says I’m betting on him? I want to bet on Signature Sword Tower!”
“Bet on him? Brother Evil, are you kidding me?” Frost Blade was dumbfounded at how Evil Rampage splurged his money.
“That’s right!” Evil Rampage said, “I want to bet on him. Is there a problem?”
“Alright! As long as you’re happy.” Frost Blade shook his head helplessly.
Ming Du and the rest sighed, “Must be great to have that much money…”
Wang Yu smiled but chose not to say anything. After all, he wasn’t going to encourage gambling.
…
As they were busy placing their bets, the match had already begun.
Sacred Mountain immediately went into [Stealth] as he disappeared out of Signature Sword Tower’s sight.
Signature Sword Tower sneered coldly as he charged towards Sacred Mountain’s direction.
Looking at Signature Sword Tower’s performance, the spectators were disappointed. Initially, they were expecting great things from this newbie from Great Desolate Squad but who knew he was this new?
Everyone knew that one shouldn’t throw his skills around casually on the arena. However, this fella forced a [Charge] even without knowing where his opponent was.
Sacred Mountain stayed in his original position from the very start. When he saw Signature Sword Tower charging over, he expressed a flash of dissatisfaction.
After coming across so many experts, facing a newbie like this was indeed not going to interest him.
At this moment, Signature Sword Tower had already arrived at Sacred Mountain’s position.
Sacred Mountain moved to the side calmly as he turned to Signature Sword Tower’s back to execute [Rabbit Strike].
[Rabbit Strike] was an Assassin’s control skill which could stun the opponent too. This was a common opening skill used by an Assassin to launch an attack.
Rooting their opponents to the ground before launching a series of attacks was the simplest way to kill their enemy.
However, Assassins didn’t like using [Rabbit Strike] to stun their opponents just so they could magnify their skills more clearly.
The fact that Sacred Mountain executed [Rabbit Strike] meant that this fella was not underestimating his opponent and that he was playing it safe.
Just when everyone thought Sacred Mountain was going to grab this win, Signature Sword Tower suddenly rolled forward to dodge Sacred Mountain’s [Rabbit Strike]. That was when Sacred Mountain exposed himself in the open.
“Eh?”
Seeing a scene like that, everyone was stunned. They were wrong about how this fella was just an inexperienced newbie. To be able to lure Sacred Mountain out so quickly! This is interesting!
An Assassin without [Stealth] was like a tiger without its teeth. However, the number one Assassin in the country was undoubtedly not going to leave himself to die like any other Assassins.
Even after revealing himself, Sacred Mountain did not break off for a single moment he immediately used [Haste]. He arrived at the back of Signature Sword Tower before raising his dagger to use [Backstab].
However, Signature Sword Tower appeared as though he had eyes on his back. He twisted to the right as Sacred Mountain missed his target and fell forward.
At the same time, Signature Sword Tower lifted his left elbow to swing it backwards.
“Boom!”
An elbow strike landed firmly on Sacred Mountain’s face.
