《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 1230. Terrifying Fans

The player sent out by Kingdom of Hell was a massive man not any smaller in size than Wang Yu. His muscles looked even thicker and stronger than a Tank. If he wasn’t carrying a massive bow on his back, nobody would be able to tell that he was an Archer.
Everyone from the Quan Zhen Sect recognised this person. He was the number expert from Kingdom of Hell, God of Death’s Left Hand. He was also Fearless’ favourite professional expert.
While others liked handsome and good looking men, Fearless liked muscular people.
As the camera turned to the player from Heavenly Fire Squad, he was a red-haired handsome looking young man.
This young man was also carrying a longbow behind his back so it seemed like he was also an Archer. He was indeed Heavenly Fire Squad’s main Archer, Star Fire.
The moment Star Fire’s face was shown on the screen, the whole venue erupted into loud cheers.
“Star Fire! Star Fire!”
“Star Fire, I want to give birth to your child!”
…
The professional experts, as well as the experienced ones from the Quan Zhen Sect, appeared as though they were already used to cheers and screams like these. Every one of them shook their head to express their unhappiness.
On the other hand, cheers like that did scare Wang Yu. He turned to look at how crazy the fans were acting and it seemed like they were almost ready to jump onto the screen to lick it.
Star Fire acted as though he could sense the enthusiasm from the fans as he turned to smile and wave at the camera. He was incredibly captivating on-screen.
“Wah…”
The fans were screaming, shouting, fainting and some were even in tears.
This was when Wang Yu realised what he saw at the airport was nothing compared to this.
“Why are they acting so crazy? This is way too exaggerated, isn’t it?” Wang Yu wiped his sweat as he nudged Spring Halo.
“There is more to come which are much worse than this. Just wait,” Spring Halo replied fearfully.

“???”
Wang Yu was dumbfounded.
As the cheers were ongoing, the match had already begun. Both Archers moved swiftly towards the centre of the map.
There was a lookout tower in the middle of the map and it was the vantage point of this map.
In a battle between Archers, it was a battle for the best field of view. Whoever could control the vantage point would be able to control the battlefield.
As an Archer, Star Fire added points for his agility which increased his movement speed to an incredible level.
On the other hand, God of Death’s Left Hand moved at a steady and rather slow speed as compared to Star Fire because of his mass. He was almost as slow as a Tank carrying a shield. Watching him move made the spectators anxious and worried for him.
When Star Fire charged up onto the lookout tower, God of Death’s Left Hand merely covered one-third of the distance.
Looking at a scene like that, everyone couldn’t help but mock, “Is… Is this big man here for us to make a fool out of himself?”
Wang Yu also furrowed his brows, “This massive Archer added points to his strength, right? Why is he so slow?”
“I bet…” Spring Halo explained, “Look at his bow, I doubt half of the Archers in this place will not be able to carry it.”
Right at this point, Star Fire had already taken control of the lookout tower. From above, he looked across the map and he spotted God of Death’s Left Hand, who was about ten metres away from him.
“Tsk!”
Star Fire grunted coldly as he aimed towards God of Death’s Left Hand with [Ambush Kill].
[Ambush Kill] was the furthest-distanced skill for an Archer. After level 50, the effective distance was over 50 metres and it contained the Sudden Strike effect too. It was the main skill of an Archer to control their opponent from a long distance.
“Swish!”
The arrow brought with it a flash of radiance as it was shot through the smoke and towards God of Death’s Left Hand’s body.

Just when the arrow was about to hit God of Death’s Left Hand, he suddenly leaned backwards to dodge the arrow.
“Boom!”
The arrow missed its target and landed on the ground.
Star Fire was taken aback by this as he hurriedly squatted back down. He stared at God of Death’s Left Hand while waiting for his skill to cool down.
Because he didn’t manage to get to the vantage point first, God of Death’s Left Hand’s field of view was completely obstructed by the smoke in the area. Looking at the arrow on the ground, he drew a trajectory using his hand on the angle where Star Fire shot at him from. Following which, he brought out the bow on his back and took out an arrow as thick as a gun barrel as he placed it on his bow.
“What?! Is that really an arrow?”
Looking at the arrow in God of Death’s Left Hand’s hand, the eyeballs of many spectators almost fell out of the eye sockets.
Wang Yu couldn’t help but swallow his saliva as he commented, “An arrow like that… Wow.”
“Cheeekaa!”
To everyone’s shock, as God of Death’s Left Hand pulled his bowstring with force, the entire bow was pulled into a full moon shape.
God of Death’s Left Hand squinted his eyes and took in one deep breath of air.
“Bang!”
A loud explosive sound was heard as the thick arrow flew out and it sounded like a rocket flew instead.
“Boom!”
The arrow collided against the wall of the lookout tower and pierced right through it.
The thick arrow barely scraped past Star Fire’s head. That was enough to give Star Fire goosebumps.
“Alright!”
Wang Yu couldn’t help but applaud when he saw that.
From God of Death’s Left Hand’s position, he was completely unable to see his opponent. He managed to determine his opponent’s position merely from the direction that the arrow flew from.
One must know that a system assisted Archer could only attack someone accurately if the target was within their sight. Therefore, one could tell that this shot from God of Death’s Left Hand was indeed his own ability.
An archery skill like that was incredibly important to a martial artist but it was also the hardest to train.
Even though Wang Yu was a genius in martial arts, he might not have done a better job than God of Death’s Left Hand in that situation.
Who knew that there was such an expert in a game like that?
“Alright your head! You muscular beast!”
At this moment, Wang Yu heard someone scolding.
“???”
Wang Yu turned his head to see that a bunch of ladies in the spectator seats were staring angrily at him. They had murderous intent in their eyes.
A few other ladies added on, “Exactly… What a violent fella! Why must he use such a thick arrow? What if he hurt our star boy?”
“Yes! Muscular man can go and die!!”
“Look at the way he is dressed! Is he a retard?”
“???”
Wang Yu was speechless.
Wasn’t the point of the competition to kill the opponent? Why should the muscular guy die just because he was trying to kill his opponent? What kind of logic was that?
“Ignore them!”
Spring Halo dragged Wang Yu by the shirt to convince him not to be agitated by the fans. He added, “See that? This is what I call exaggeration…”
“Sii…”
Wang Yu took in a deep breath of cold air as he wiped off his cold sweat. Damn it! Those fans are really terrifying.
Back in the arena, Star Fire was clearly frightened and distraught by that one shot from God of Death’s Left Hand.
Regardless of whether his range was that far, he constantly fired arrows at God of Death’s Left Hand to oppress him with all his might.
Because Star Fire added points to his agility, his shooting range was naturally not comparable to an explosive Archer like God of Death’s Left Hand.
The arrows were landing at God of Death’s Left Hand’s feet as he slowly took aim at the tower once again.
