《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 1225. Third Round Setting

Under the great anticipation of the crowd, the last player from the Dark Moon Squad was sent into the arena.
This player had a massive built like a Tank but he was actually holding a staff. This confused everyone looking at him.
Even his name was pretty interesting as he was called Sima Big Strength which seemed pretty similar to Zhuge Small Fish.
After everything that had happened, it seemed like a pain for a Magician to deal with an opponent like Yang Nuo.
A Warrior or Guardian would have put up a decent fight with an Archer because of the difference in jobs with the exception of the previous match.
However, a Magician against Yang Nuo… Staying far away will not be advantageous because of the range of attacks while staying close to her… One would rather stay as far away from her as possible.
When Sima Big Strength saw that his close-combat expert teammate was knocked out by Yang Nuo, his fear was understandable.
After getting on the arena, Sima Big Strength closed his eyes and immediately clicked on the ‘surrender’ button.
The second round Team A Murder Of Crows 7:3 Dark Moon Squad.
Currently, there was a nine-point difference between Dark Moon Squad and the Quan Zhen Sect. This meant to say that to emerge victorious overall, the Dark Moon Squad had to obliterate the entire Quan Zhen Sect without suffering any casualty on their side in the third round.
Up till this point, everything seemed out of Dark Moon Squad’s control.
Nobody, including Deathly Dark Moon, would have expected that a despicable squad like Team A Murder Of Crows would actually have a terrifying expert like Yang Nuo.
Yang Nuo, who took down five of their players, immediately had her reputation surpassed Cold Winter Spear Purity from two days ago.
This resulted in many discussions about this year’s event. Everyone talked about how and why there were suddenly so many top female experts this year.
When the professional experts saw how the fellas from Team A Murder Of Crows finally revealed their strength, they started feeling even more pressure than before.

They started speculating how bad it would look on them if professional experts like them were brought down by unknown players like them.
Of course, the pressure was the most overwhelming on Dark Moon Squad, who was preparing for the last round of battle with the Quan Zhen Sect.
After being humiliated in the first two rounds, the players from the Dark Moon Squad appeared to have received their wake up call.
Even though the situation did not look good for them and the probability of losing this was higher than them turning it around, they were pretty strong in their resolve. They did not actually raise the white flag and give this up.
In fact, they had no choice because this was the professional tournament.
A professional squad taking on an amateur squad and then surrendering? This was not going to happen.
“So how are we going to fight the last round?”
The players from Dark Moon Squad were almost suffocated by this question.
Leader Deathly Dark Moon stayed silent for a long period before saying, “We get to choose the setting of the last round. I think it is time we use that scene.”
“But… Aren’t we only going to use it against Kyushu Squad at the end?” The players from Dark Moon Squad couldn’t help but ask.
“Kyushu Squad?” Deathly Dark Moon sneered coldly, “If we don’t use it now in this competition, we might not be able to use it in the future anymore. Do you guys want to lose to the number one squad in the country or to a bunch of amateur players?”
“This…”
Everyone was left speechless but the answer to this question was obvious.
Deathly Dark Moon slammed the table and said, “Alright! Since no one has any objections, it is decided! This round, all of you better give me your 200% focus. Otherwise, we will all be on our way home. Do you hear me?”
“Yes!”
After everyone’s loud and energetic reply, the Dark Moon Squad’s lounge became dead silent once again. This was because everyone knew that this was the professional tournament and every opponent was not to be underestimated. Using this scene in the Team PVP round might not even guarantee them a victory.

At the same time, Ming Du was holding a paper cup near the wall and secretly listening to the other party.
Wang Yu was curious as he asked, “Old Li, so what are they talking about? Did you hear anything?”
Ming Du threw the paper cup into the dustbin before saying, “They’re not saying anything. They must be mourning for their own failures.”
“Tsk, tsk, tsk… It is good that they know themselves well,” everyone replied.
“Tsk!”
At this point, Fearless sneered, “You guys shouldn’t get too cocky. They are still considered professional experts. if it wasn’t for Old Bull and Little Nuo, we wouldn’t have made it this far.”
“Tsk…” After being mocked by Fearless, everyone kept quiet.
Professional experts were indeed professional experts. Even their second-rated squad was not something any random amateur squad could go up against. This was a fact that everyone acknowledged.
Shortly after, Fearless asked again, “Do you know why they are not going to surrender the third round?”
“Are they masochists?” Vainglory asked.
“Keep quiet!” Fearless replied, “You really think they are like you? This is because they get to choose the map for the third round.”
“So what? Isn’t it just a map? We have Uncle Bull so why would we ever be afraid of them? Right, Uncle Bull?”
Vainglory looked over to Wang Yu but was pressed on the head by Evil Rampage, “Just because we have your Uncle Bull?”
“Yes… And also Uncle Evil,” Vainglory quickly added.
“Haha! Good kid!”
Fearless rolled his eyes at Vainglory before saying, “It is known that geographical and social conditions are important for a war. Fighting a team battle is vastly different from individual battles. These three key factors are crucial to attaining victory. First of all, weather condition is something we can ignore for now. Secondly, people. As of now, they are clearly not as good as us so they will be relying on the last factor. They will definitely be making use of the map that they choose so we have to be extra careful not to fall for their traps later.”
“Don’t worry too much about it!” Wang Yu patted on Fearless’s shoulder, “At the very most, we can just find a place to hide. Anyway, we’re leading by this much.”
“Sigh!” Fearless shook his head, “Since they dare to take on the last round, they will definitely have a plan to prevent us from stalling.”
Ten minutes later, the break time was over and both teams re-entered the game. The players from Dark Moon Squad started choosing the map.
Deathly Dark Moon opened up the plane, found the background that he wanted and clicked on ‘confirm’.
At this moment, the scene of the venue started changing.
It didn’t take long for the transformation to be complete.
The map that Deathly Dark Moon chose was called Magician’s Pagoda.
Looking at this map, everyone revealed confused expressions. Evidently, this was a rare map and it seemed like only the players from Dark Moon Squad had seen it before.
To everyone’s confusion, this map was not big at all. In fact, it could be considered pretty small.
An overview was that there was simply a Magician Pagoda in the middle of the scene and it was surrounded by exquisite houses.
A map like that was wide but other than the abrupt Magician Pagoda, it was not much different from an ordinary arena.
After being beaten up so badly in the first two rounds, the Dark Moon Squad should have chosen a more complicated terrain in the third round to close up the difference in strength. Choosing a simple map like this was clearly a bad choice.
