《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 1222. Archers Confrontation

There was no need to discuss the shock that the players from Dark Moon Squad felt. When Nimble Hand was sent down the arena, he was still holding his eyes as though he was truly blinded.
“F*ck!!!”
Seeing the way Nimble Hand acted, the players from Dark Moon Squad started trembling with fear.
The players from Kyushu Squad turned to look at Boundless Ocean to ask, “And this savage lady from the Quan Zhen Sect is still not the scariest one?”
A soulless Boundless Ocean muttered, “I really didn’t think… Or rather, I didn’t expect the Quan Zhen Sect still had someone like that.”
While everyone was still in dismay, the second player from Dark Moon Squad was already sent to the arena.
The player sent up was none other than the Magician of Dark Moon Squad, Zhuge Small Fish.
Archer was a long-distance job whose range was even further than a Magician. In terms of agility, an Archer was also much more agile than a Magician.
When a Magician faced up against an Archer, the first thing he must do would be to close the distance between them to ensure that his opponent was within his range.
The moment the match began, Zhuge Small Fish was worried that she would open up the distance between them. Therefore, she immediately flashed towards Yang Nuo without hesitation.
Just like before, Yang Nuo didn’t move from her spot.
The moment Yang Nuo spotted Zhuge Small Fish appearing not too far away from her, she raised her bow.
“Weng! Weng!”
Two arrows flew towards Zhuge Small Fish one after the other.
Zhuge Small Fish was a professional expert so she was naturally not going to stand there for the arrow to hit her. She dodged to the left and right before condensing her magic skills to prevent Yang Nuo the opportunity to take aim at her.
“Boom!”
However, at this very moment, the first arrow shot out from Yang Nuo shot coincidentally onto Zhuge Small Fish’s right face. She let out a devastating cry.

“How accurate!”
Zhuge Small Fish was dazed by the first arrow so she instinctively moved her head to the left.
“Boom!”
Yet another arrow shot Zhuge Small Fish’s left face.
Two arrows were stuck on Zhuge Small Fish’s face as both the left and right sides looked extremely symmetrical.
“Psst! How vicious!”
Everyone took in deep breaths of cold air once again.
Regardless, Zhuge Small Fish was still also a lady. Was Yang Nuo intentionally trying to disfigure her?
“You b*stard!”
Zhuge Small Fish was on the verge of tears. She could have shot her anywhere else so why must it be the face? Why must a woman make things so difficult for another woman?
However, Zhuge Small Fish was not the only depressed one. Even Yang Nuo felt equally bad, “I randomly shot two arrows so why must you use your face to receive them? What’s wrong with this woman?”
In this brief moment of shock, Zhuge Small Fish’s magic condensation was completed. She swung her staff and threw out an Icicle.
An Icicle was not enough to bother Yang Nuo as she was about to continue charging forward.
However, the Icicle in mid-air suddenly exploded and split into ten Icicles flying in a row towards Yang Nuo.
Yang Nuo remained calm as she took out multiple arrows and threw them towards the incoming Icicles.
“Boom, boom, boom, boom!”
The arrows clashed with the Icicles in mid-air as blue icy fogs exploded in the air.
Zhuge Small Fish was dumbfounded. What?!
In the eyes of professional Archers, using arrows to shoot magic attacks was not a high-level skill. With the system aid, even ordinary players would be able to attain a 100% accuracy.
However, Yang Nuo did not shoot her arrows using her bow. Instead, she threw it with her bare hands!
This move was unheard of!
Of course, Zhuge Small Fish did not know what Yang Nuo knew. In Yang Nuo’s eyes, using her hands to shoot down these magic attacks was much simpler than using a bow.

While Zhuge Small Fish was still wondering how Yang Nuo did that, Yang Nuo already arrived next to Zhuge Small Fish.
Before Zhuge Small Fish could react, Yang Nuo’s bow had already pressed against Zhuge Small Fish’s temple.
“Boom!”
[Shock Shot]!
Zhuge Small Fish was rooted to the spot. Yang Nuo raised Zhuge Small Fish by the collar and shot multiple arrows through her stomach.
Zhuge Small Fish was merely a defenseless Magician so she was naturally unable to withstand such a terrifying blow from Yang Nuo. Before her stun effect was over, she was already knocked out of the stage.
“F*ck! F*ck! What the f*ck!”
This scene got everyone off the seats!
Why do people like to watch fights between Warriors and Assassins? It was because these two jobs entail fist to fist and sword to sword. It sets off incredible sparks in the emotions of people.
In contrast, it was very different for Archers and Magicians.
Spectators would not be able to sense the enjoyment of close-combat fights.
However, Yang Nuo did it live in front of them. This was their first time witnessing an Archer fighting another person in close-combat while holding onto her bow. This was especially true when Yang Nuo used her bow to press against her opponent’s head. That feeling was indescribable as everyone forgot how Yang Nuo took down two of her opponents without suffering any damage to her health.
“Tsk tsk tsk…”
Vainglory sighed as he pointed at Yang Nuo on the arena, “Do you guys think Sister Nuo is a masochist or a sadist? How can an Archer press her bow against someone to fire…”
“What do you know!” Fearless reprimanded, “Do you know how a person can ensure 100% accuracy?”
“I don’t know…” Vainglory shook his head.
“Idiot!” Everyone replied, “Of course you have to press the gun against the target.”
As they were discussing this, the third player from Dark Moon Squad was sent in.
The third person up on the arena for Dark Moon Squad was called Dark Moon Hunter. This person was definitely an Archer.
Like the rest of Archers, Dark Moon Hunter was also slim so that others wouldn’t be able to hit him easily. Dark Moon Hunter was holding a massive blue bow.
That bow was emitted a faint purple radiance which clearly indicated that it was an Ancient-grade weapon.
Staring coldly into the eyes of the opponent, Yang Nuo maintained her usual composure. Her cold stares were enough to increase the pressure felt by Dark Moon Hunter.
A human’s fear was always from the unknown.
From the moment Yang Nuo entered the arena to taking down two of his teammates, less than five minutes had passed.
And after everything, Yang Nuo had only used one skill: Convulsion Arrow.
Because nobody knew her true strength, the expressionless face that she displayed invoke a sense of deep fear in others.
This was the true meaning of unfathomable depths. When someone doesn’t know how strong their opponent is and what they are thinking.
Shortly after, the siren for the match sounded.
Dark Moon Hunter turned and ran backwards away. The speed at which he ran was indeed frightening and shocking. The moment Yang Nuo shot out her first arrow, Dark Moon Hunter had already turned a corner of the street and disappeared out of Yang Nuo’s sight.
Archer had always been the type of job to hide in a safe spot to ambush their target.
The standard thing to do for an Archer in a PK was to open up their distance with their opponent even if their opponent was also another Archer.

So What If I'm Trash? Who Needs Cultivation?!
Qing Shan Long. They say he isn't human. An escaped experiment from some government facility, a reincarnation of a saint, a freakish superhuman. Whatever he was one thing was clear. Be it Music, Martial Arts, Science, whatever he does he excels. He was a whimsical man. A great man. A man who craving for knowledge and excitement knows no bounds, whose collection of books and personal library would even make Alexander the Great green with envy. He donated to all manners of charities and funded many projects for helping the poor and disabled. A self made man who single handedly founded one of the largest corporations in the world, Wen Qu Technologies, whose influences reach from vast fields of expertise. From objects of war such as the newest aircrafts, droids, and body armor; to life saving medicine and vaccines; to even the mundane such as video games and the fast food industry. A legendary example of determination and hard work. He was in his car being driven to a business meeting to disclose a deal that would help ensure the country could have access to clean energy and help reduce the pollution that has been plaguing his homeland for the past millenia when he was assassinated and woke up in a strange new world. How will Qing Shan deal with his new environment where the strong suppresses the weak? From the top of the world he suddenly finds himself free falling to rock bottom. Unable to cultivate, a weak body, and all but disowned by his family. (For those who read comics and watch cartoons, imagine him as being Tony Stark, Richard Reeds, Jimmy Neutron, etc level of 'Genius'. ) My own spin on some familar tropes. Another reincarnation into another world story. The MC will take over the body of someone with a trash body that can't cultivate and will be hated and neglected by his family. Pretty typical so far right? Except there won't be some amazing miracle to heal our MC, there isn't some magical grandpa to teach him some OP thing which only his trash body can use, there isn't a hidden op bloodline, and he is not from a super amazing assassin clan or genius doctor. He isn't the chosen one, he's just a guy trying his best to make something with a crap situation. First attempt at a wuxia type story! I like playing with common tropes, maybe adding a twist, to playing it straight as a classic. I have absolutely no idea where this is going to take me but please do give your input and I'll do my best so that everyone has a say in where our journey will go. I'll admit the only knowledge I have of chinese history and ancient society is from reading light novels translated to english and some old dramas, so if I make some social passe just take it as because this is another world, not exactly an AU where magic and stuff actually exist. I'm also not actually Chinese and will basically using google to help me with names and other such, if I make a mistake please let me know! (Even if you don't like the story or couldn't bare to get past chapter 1 please leave a comment so I can find out where to improve, thank you!)
