Tranquility Yields Transcendence was alarmed as he gripped his sword hilt tightly. He drew his sword in a graceful movement and executed [Grudging Slash] which sliced through the incoming projectile.

A soft sound reverberated through the air as the [Icy Seal] froze [Grudging Slash] into a crescent but in doing so, [Icy Seal] also lost its momentum.

Just as Tranquility Yields Transcendence had executed [Grudging Slash], Worldly Indifference was already condensing magic in her right hand. With a swift wave of her staff, streaks of lightning descended on the sky and arced towards Tranquility Yields Transcendence.

As Tranquility Yields Transcendence was in mid stance, he was in no position to dodge the incoming attack. He did not sheath his blade as he deftly executed [Rising Dragon Slash].

[Rising Dragon Slash] was also a ground-to-air skill. It required the user to move forward when executing the skill which will result in a short recoil.

With this slight deviation in his movement, Tranquility Yields Transcendence barely evaded getting inflicted with critical damage.

“Hua!!”

With such a wonderful last-second evasive maneuver, it got the audiences to the edge of their seats.

“So impressive…”

Even Wang Yu was flabbergasted as he spectated the move that Tranquility Yields Transcendence had just executed.

[Grudging Slash] followed by [Rising Dragon Slash]. These skills were not very advanced skills individually but when used in a combo, the effects were devastating.

With that kind of reaction speed, he was on par with a Fighter like Wang Yu. His other stats elevated him to an unfathomable level.

To be able to achieve such a level in the game was awe-inspiring for Wang Yu. He indeed lived up to his name as God of War.

Worldly Indifference watched as Tranquility Yields Transcendence flew up and unhurriedly stamp her staff into the ground and released [Ice Mirror].

Wherever Tranquility Yields Transcendence landed, he would be caught in her move and freeze.

Tranquility Yields Transcendence seemed to already expect such a move by Worldly Indifference and in mid-air, he gripped his sword with both hands.unleashing [Mountain Shattering Blow].

The displacement range of his move was 500 units so it would force Worldly Indifference to retreat. Tranquility Yields Transcendence slammed the ground and sent the icy mirror shards flying towards Worldly Indifference.

“Boom!!!”

Tranquility Yields Transcendence safely landed on the ground while causing Worldly Indifference drifting backwards away from him.

At this instance, there was a weird magic array that appeared under the feet of Tranquility Yields Transcendence.

Tranquility Yields Transcendence furrowed his brows and without another word he rushed straight into Worldly Indifference.

Worldly Indifference was already at the edge of the platform and had little room left to retreat. With her staff behind her back, she steeled herself for the counterattack.

She saw Tranquility Yields Transcendence moved his shoulders swiftly and once again executed [Tornado Slash] trapping her within the grinding blades.

At the critical moment, a blue light that resembled an eggshell enveloped Worldly Indifference in it.

[Magic Shield]!

“Bang! Bang! Bang!”

Tranquility Yields Transcendence unceasingly slashed his blades on Worldly Indifference’s [Magic Shield] and there was a deathly and sickening throb

Just when Tranquility Yields Transcendence had expanded the full force of [Tornado Slash], the defense barrier of [Magic Shield] collapsed and cracks appeared in the egg-like shell.

Tranquility Yields Transcendence raised his blade to Worldly Indifference’s neck and was about to end the battle but a streak of greenish-blue light blocked the blade. The two experts retreated a few metres in opposite directions.
