《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 1211. Worldly Indifference, Tranquility Yields Transcendence

At this moment, the host announced: Next up, we have Worldly Indifference from Sanguine Squad!
“Worldly Indifference!!!”
Following his introduction, the audience were jolted into life as they were filled with an enveloping sense of amazement.
“It is indeed him!!” The players from Quan Zhen Sect were also slightly surprised as Fearless commented, “Looks like Sanguine Squad really took out the big guns this time.”
“Who could he be?”
Wang Yu looked at him with a serious look. Ever since he entered the arena, he did not recognise a single of these so-called experts.
Fearless replied, “Worldly Indifference, Tranquility Yields Transcendence, have you heard of him?”
“I have heard it before through Zhu Ge Liang,” Wang Yu retorted.
Fearless continued, “These are the in-game names for two players. A few days ago when we met with Nine Solitary Spears, it was Tranquility Yields Transcendence with him. This person before us is Worldly Indifference.”
“Tranquility Yields Transcendence…” Wang Yu thought for a while, “Is it the God of War?”
“Yes!” Fearless nodded.
“So the man over here is the God of Magic?” Wang Yu answered.
“That’s right, too!” Ming Du quickly chimed in to the conversation, “She is the rumoured God of Magic, my idol.”
“Oh, so this is the case!” Wang Yu was flabbergasted.
Within the gaming community, there was a tendency to call the best player a God. However, if these so-called Gods were to play other games, they would not be able to achieve the same heights as before.
For the so-called God of War and Magic, the two of them stood at the pinnacle of the gaming world and nobody had ever shaken their position.
One had to know that being an expert in game did not require any fixed conditions.

Take Wang Yu for example, he was invincible in the virtual reality mode but if he were to use a mouse and keyboard to play the game he would be far from his original capabilities.
The experts in LOL could only disappear offline if they met their match in other games.
However, for this duo, no matter what game it was, they would be the top tier experts. This frightening ability showcased their comprehensive level of skill in games.
Through their many achievements, they had set the industry benchmark for a true God. Even players from the Quan Zhen Sect would shudder in front of her name.
The competition was about to resume.
Worldly Indifference looked coldly at Thunderlord Block as she narrowed her eyes and probed, “Are you going to surrender or do you need me to make a move?”
Magicians had the natural advantage over Warriors, especially the clumsy Guardians. Even with a strong defense and high HP, they were sitting ducks in front of the lethal attacks of a Magician.
Thunderlord Block was unlucky in facing a poor matchup against Worldly Indifference.
That being said, Thunderlord Block prided himself as an experienced expert. It would not bode well for his reputation if he went down without a fight.
After being ridiculed by Worldly Indifference, Thunderlord Block’s face darkened as he rushed head on to his opponent.
At this instant, Thunderlord Block executed his trademark [Two Segment Air Pursuit Chop] to attempt to wallop Worldly Indifference.
“Hehe, how ignorant!”
Worldly Indifference slightly smiled, as she pointed her left hand forward and a streak of blue light whizzed towards Thunderlord Block.
Thunderlord Block raised his shield in response to block the incoming projectile.
“Dang…”
There was a sound of glass breaking as Thunderlord Block was frozen solid into a big block of ice.

There was a line of descriptions floating over Worldly Indifference’s head – Awakening- [Icy Imprint]!!
“What a strong magic spell!”
Fearless furrowed his brows as he saw the battle unfold.
In >, the main stat that affected judgement was strength so unsurprisingly, Warrior and Knights had the best judgement in the game.
The long-ranged classes would have relatively poorer judgement.
This disparity was highlighted when warriors executed their [Charge] skills. Even a low-level skill like that could unleash extensive damage because their good judgement augmented the effect of the skill.
Worldly Indifference used a single finger to release [Icy Imprint] which was enough to defeat Thunderlord Block. This level of judgement was practically unheard of among Magicians.
“Tsk!”
After sealing Thunderlord Block, Worldly Indifference scoffed coldly, she condensed another magic attack from her staff and flicked it at the giant block of stone. It landed squarely on the immobile Thunderlord Block.
“Boom!”
There was a loud blast that followed and Thunderlord Block dissipated into a streak of white light.
At the same time, the entire place fell into complete silence.
Insta-kill!!
The number one Guardian in the country was instantly defeated!
This damage output is simply…
“How interesting…” Wang Yu stroked his lower jaw as he recalled the two skills that Worldly Indifference had used. A wide grin formed on his face.
Thunderlord Block was the best few players from the Sky Dragon Team other than Tranquility Yields Transcendence. If a player of his calibre was insta-killed, there was no hope for the remaining players.
For the following matches, there were no exceptions with every competitor from Sky Dragon Team dispatched with a single move by Worldly Indifference. There was simply no counterplay.
Not only was her attacks extremely lethal, but her judgement was also top-notch. There was no hiding from her senses.
Even Spring Halo who was the supposed expert at judgement held his breath in shock.
The audiences shrieked, “Is there no one that can match her?”
A single lady had defeated four of Sky Dragon Squad’s experts. Although the game did not have a distinctive visual difference between males and females, it was still jarring to see a young lady dispatching all her opponents with utter ease.
There was still the prevailing notion that ladies would be weaker than men in playing a video game.
The Quan Zhen Sect were saying such words because they had bet on Sky Dragon Squad’s victory.
Since the Sanguine Squad hid such an expert, it had unnerved the whole lot of them.
“Yes!”
Fearless glanced at the row of unhappy faces of his comrades and inquired, “Old Bull, isn’t it just one of her?”
“Nonsense!” The group of them turned towards him in fury, “If Old Bull were to go on stage himself, do you think we would be so anxious?”
“Hehe!” Seeing how distraught his comrades were, Fearless chuckled, “That would depend on whether Tranquility Yields Transcendence has the luck to go up onto stage. Even if we do not know who exactly is stronger, he won’t be insta-killed at the very least.”
“What are you still waiting for? Go and pray.”
Spring Halo became superstitious as he made a gesture of a cross against his chest. He started to pray, “Confucius in the Heavens, please protect us. Amitabha, amen…”
A few of them followed his lead and closed their eyes.
In the time that Spring Halo and the other players took to pray, the fifth member from Sky Dragon Squad made his entrance.
The host peered at the member and he screamed agitatedly, “The exciting moment is finally upon us, the next player from Sky Dragon Squad is none other than Tranquility Yields Transcendence!”

Nameless Hypocrite
"Bastard, surrender yourself!" "You think you can escape our encirclement?!" "An omnicidal fiend like you can only atone in death!" Despite his precarious situation, a young man ignored the union's provocations. His violet robe was in tatters, showing the incredible number of attacks he received, yet there was no sign of injury. Noticing the light smile tugging at his lips, the pursuing heroes warily watched him, cautious of a final attack. It was only by working together that they could corner a monster like him. An arrow pierced the air, beelining towards the young man. A malicious gleam revealed itself in his eyes; he unsheathed his sword, a long, curved blade, and deflected the projectile, spiking it into the ground. The archer's eyes widened before being split in two. He died suddenly and indignantly. The group backed away; their former confidence diminished greatly by the invisible counter. It was then that the young man sighed, his voice full of lament and self-pity. "Being a saint truly is difficult, even the world cannot understand my righteous actions." The expressions of the surrounding heroes turned ugly. Such blatant hypocrisy! Yes, the protagonist is a villain. We don't do morals here. New chaps when I write them
