“Aiya, I didn’t want to come back either.” Xing Zhu put up an angry front and pointed to the handsome man standing behind her, saying, “My fiance has to return to his country to compete in this tournament, thus I could only tag along with him back here. His name is Mark… and he is a professional expert.”

“Hello there, Brother Mark.” Boson laughed bitterly, before extending his hand forward.

Mark casually ignored Boson and glanced at the surrounding people, coolly saying, “Hello everyone, I’ve seen your previous match, it’s quite interesting.” The tone that Mark used to address the people from Quan Zhen Sect seemed as if he was a godly player giving pointers to some new players, one that was filled with arrogance.

Regarding this arrogant display, the people from Quan Zhen Sect completely ignored his statement and looked away from him.

“Keke!” Seeing everyone not giving face to Mark’s status as a professional expert player, Xing Zhu chuckled and said, “Mark isn’t just any other professional expert player, he is also the son of xx company’s CEO. I’m sure you all have heard of xx company, the boss is a relative of the CEO of Soaring Dragon Game Studios.”

The faces of everyone from Quan Zhen Sect immediately turned gloomy. Even though this woman looked pleasing to the eye, the words that came out of her mouth was enough to reveal just how ugly of a person she actually was.

However, upon hearing that Mark was a relative of the Soaring Dragon Game Company’s CEO, Mary, who has been staring at Xing Zhu with an unfriendly expression, coldly smiled and said, “Is being a relative of the Soaring Dragon Game Studios’ CEO very impressive?”

Upon hearing this, Xing Zhu’s face immediately turned black.

It should be known that Spring Halo was the most despicable person in the whole of Quan Zhen Sect. With just a few words, he had brought down Xing Zhu’s image into the dirt.

“This…” Fearless tried his best to contain his laughter and said, “What is to be said has been said, and you have already boasted enough. Do you have any other matters with us?”

Xing Zhu replied, embarrassed, “I was merely looking for Boson to have a catch-up, brother Fearless misunderstood me.”

Fearless coolly replied and said, “It’s a pity that we do not have time to bother with your nonsense… alright, if there isn’t anything else, we will take our leave!”

As he spoke, Fearless gave a look to the rest from Quan Zhen Sect. The others promptly grabbed Boson and headed towards the direction of the hotel, leaving Xing Zhu and her partner staring blankly at the entrance to the hotel.

Upon returning to the hotel, Boson’s expression became gentler. He expressed his gratitude to the rest, before turning to Mary and said, “I’m sorry… I…”

Fortunately, Mary was a rather easy-going lady. She casually waved her hand and said, “It’s just a farce. If my third brother is willing, I can even become your girlfriend.”

“Eh…” Boson’s face turned red instantly.

Li Xue and the rest immediately held Mary back and said, “Control yourself, control yourself.”

At this moment, the gossipy Spring Halo interrupted and said, “Boson, was that your ex-girlfriend?”

“En…” Boson nodded his head as the look in his eyes became depressed.

“Why is your taste so bad little brat… how could you have found such a low-class woman?” Spring Halo remarked.

The people seated there were all educated people. Thus, the sarcastic words spouted by that woman aroused the dissatisfaction of everyone present.

“She truly wasn’t like this in the past.” Fearless coldly smirked and said, “If she was like this from the very start, would you have taken care of her abroad for three years without even having held her hand at least once? In the end, you were still kicked away by her heartlessly! Even now, whenever you meet a woman, you still act so nervously.”

“Leave me alone!” Boson raged.

“If I don’t take care of you, who else will?!” Fearless ruthlessly slammed the table and rebutted.

Upon seeing the two of them about to get violent, the surrounding people hurriedly separated the two brothers.

Upon hearing this however, everyone finally understood why Boson normally acted strangely and was especially heavy-handed towards women… it seemed like there was a background story to it all.

There was no law that could govern family matters after all…

Everyone had their own relationship stories to tell. If there were good women that fell in love with bad men, there would naturally be good men that fell in love with bad women. However, with regards to matters of the heart, no one could resolve these matters for the other, thus the only thing that everyone could do was to not bring these incidents up in the future.

After separating the two, Boson stomped out of the main hall with a black face. Upon seeing Boson leaving, Mary’s face revealed a complicated look before saying, “Will he be alright?”

Fearless angrily replied, “Ignore him, let him be!”

“I pity all of the parents in the world…” Ming Du sighed and said.

Everyone glared at Ming Du upon hearing what he said.

“All the brothers!” Ming Du hurriedly corrected himself.

After going through the trouble of travelling thousands of miles just to get together to join the competition, there would naturally not be anyone that would drop out at this point in time over such a small matter. The moment the day started, Boson acted as if nothing had happened at all.

Once Boson calmed himself down, everyone naturally knew not to bring up any of those unhappy matters once more. The bunch of them heartily entered the competition venue.

Today was the second round of the competition for the amateur teams. The rules of the matches would be the same as before and the fixing will be picked at random.

The competition venue immediately became dark and the lights started flashing.

It wasn’t much of a surprise for Purity and her team to get into the finals. After all, these Pugilists had showcased their skills right from the very start.

However, what was a surprise for the audience was that the bunch from Quan Zhen Sect was able to use underhanded means to win their way into the finals

One must know that these amateur players were all renowned players from various regions. Thus, they had a certain degree of capability. Furthermore, after a few rounds of elimination, those that were able to remain were naturally the stronger ones…

Who would have known that Quan Zhen Sect would be so lucky as to meet Team Lucky in the first round and squirm their way through the second round with dirty tactics.
