《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 1192. Small Card

“Heh!”
Right at this moment, Frost Blade smirked and smiled.
Shadow Kill felt a chill down his spine.
“Duang!”
Shadow Kill’s dagger stabbed into Frost Blade’s body, but it did not cause any harm. At the same time, Frost Blade disappeared in Shadow Kill’s sight.
“[Vanish!!]”
After seeing Frost Blade disappear, Shadow Kill was extremely shocked.
As the ultimate skill of a level 60 level Assassin, Shadow Kill obviously hadn’t learnt that.
Moreover, [Stealth] was still in CD after Shadow Kill had cancelled it, and he was exposed under Frost Blade’s sight.
Frost Blade took this chance to sneak behind Shadow Kill, and used [Rabbit Strike] to stun Shadow Kill, followed by [Backstab], [Throat Cut], [Muscle Jab] and [Fracture]… A series of moves was used by Frost Blade on Shadow Kill.
Frost Blade was equipped with top-level equipment, with extremely high damage. In addition to that, the back was the weakness of all jobs, especially for the Assassin as there was an extra damage point when they were attacked from the back.
After a series of moves by Frost Blade, Shadow Kill disappeared into a dash of white light.
The first round, Frost Blade won.
The audiences let out a huge sigh.
F*ck, this match was too tiring to watch. The boredom from the first ten minutes totally overpowered the interesting reverse attack.
Everybody was actually secretly relieved that the location was an arena. If not, they would have gone to the official organiser for a refund of their tickets.
And because of that, the audience formed a really bad impression towards the two teams that were fighting just now. Especially for Quan Zhen Sect, they had become the epitome of shamelessness.
The second one up was Ling Longmeng. This girl’s ability was not any better than Frost Blade, but since she was a girl, they could not let her go up first, because Quan Zhen Sect still valued their image.

Her opponent was Shadow Spike, and it was very obvious from the name that this player was yet another Assassin, and was paired with Shadow Kill.
This Assassin was dressed the same way as Shadow Kill and had creepy vibes as well.
After Ling Longmeng stood on the arena, he made a provoking hand gesture towards her.
His arrogance was not to be blamed since Assassins were favourable against Archers.
If they were in a location like the forest, the Archer might stand a slight chance against the Assassin. However, in the small arena like this, Archers would just be waiting for their death.
Shadow Spike used [Stealth] and disappeared right when the match started.
Ling Longmeng hid in the corner of the arena and squat there without moving.
In the audience’s view, the Shadow Spike was dashing towards Ling Lingmeng with a dagger in hand.
“Ai…”
As Shadow Spike approached Ling Longmeng, all the audience could not help but sigh.
This scenario was too disadvantageous towards the Archer. Why would Quan Zhen Sect do this? Were all these just to attract attention?
However, right when everyone thought Ling Longmeng would be dead for sure, they heard a loud slap and Shadow Spike froze on the spot.
“It’s a trap!”
The audience was shocked.
Shadow Spike had a chill down his spine and tried to get out of the trap while trying to stab Ling Longmeng with his dagger.
Ling Longmeng rolled forward and reached behind Shadow Spike and used [Ambush Kick] on his a*s.
[Ambush Kick] had an effect of making the opponent fly far. Shadow Spike screamed and was kicked to the corner of the arena.
“Wu~~~”
Ling Longmeng whistled and a huge tiger appeared by her feet. On Ling Longmeng’s command, the huge tiger dashed towards Shadow Spike.

“F*ck, this is the [Pet Summon] skill from Beast King’s Hunt!”
After seeing Ling Longmeng summon her pet, the audience recognised her skill and was pleasantly surprised.
[Pet Summon] was rare skill and they did not expect a random girl from Quan Zhen Sect to know it.
The skill book was given to Ling Longmeng by Yang Nuo, and because Ling Longmeng was not short of teammates with great attacking power, she had never used it before. That was the first time she used it.
The lesser the usage, the lesser the attack damage.
The huge tiger had been biting Shadow Spike’s head from behind for quite some time, but Shadow Spike’s HP only decreased by half.
The rooting trap could only last ten seconds. When Shadow Spike recovered from the effect, Ling Longmeng would still be vulnerable.
However, Ling Longmeng was calm and bent over, putting a row of traps in front of herself.
Thorn Trap, Frost Trap, Pitfall… These were traps that restrict the opponent’s movements.
Though each of Ling Longmeng’s traps did not have a huge cover range, it was great in numbers and resulted in a true advantage for her in the battle, pushing Shadow Spike to one corner.
The traps that Ling Longmeng created trapped Shadow Spike to a corner of the arena with nowhere else to go.
When Shadow Spike saw the array of traps when he turned around, he broke into cold sweat immediately. How on earth would he expects that a mere Archer would have so much MP to be able to set traps?
“Hmph, hmph!” Ling Longmeng smirked and raised her bow, pointing it at Shadow Spike, “Since the society is democratic now, you can decide the trap you want, Thief!”
Shadow Spike took a look at the traps on the ground and also the huge tiger which was still biting his head, a look of desperation filled his eyes.
Though the attack range of the traps was small and had a lot of limitations, they had the most effective control. Judging from Ling Longmeng’s CD and her control timing, she could definitely trap Shadow Spike in that corner of his before he gets killed by the huge tiger.
Underestimating your enemy kills!
Shadow Spike sighed and chose to surrender.
Ling Longmeng obtained the victory for the second round.
Not only did Ling Longmeng win this battle on a huge scale, but she was also a weak-looking female player. That battle was the exact representation of a weak defeating the strong. Compared to the match beforehand, this match was way more exciting and it gained a loud roar from the audience.
Seeing the hyped atmosphere, the commentator took this chance to say, “Let’s give our applause to this lady!”
The auditorium was filled with applause immediately.
Ling Longmeng returned to her team accompanied by the cheering of the audience.
Different from the reaction from the audience, Quan Zhen Sect asked with confusion, “Why did you use traps? Isn’t using [Binding Arrow] easier?”
“Hehe!” Ling Longmeng replied, “I have to keep my abilities hidden first, we have to start with small cards. Who uses a killer move right from the start?”
“That’s true!” all of them nodded and continued, “And very clearly, Frost Blade was our smallest card!”
“F*ck!” Frost Blade protested.
“Who’s next?” Fearless asked everyone.
Everyone shook their heads and replied, “Anyone but me!”

Dungeon Core? Nah, I Think I'll Just Get Super-Wealthy Instead
The cycle is simple enough. A Dungeon Core is born from a wayward soul. It seeks power and agency, and works to accumulate wealth to fuel its power, in turn using this power to accumulate further wealth. Inevitably, the mind is lost as desperation and ambition drive it to commit darker and darker acts. Shortly thereafter, the adventurers arrive to quell the core. This is a tale that has repeated itself countless times throughout history: all cores desire power. And yet, this core seems to have it backwards. It doesn't want to rule the world. It has no desire to enslave or conquer. No, this core doesn't want to be a warlord, a villain, or a tyrant. It wants to start a core-poration. After all, when money is power, what greater weapon is there than capitalism? Join a dungeon core that wastes an absurd amount of time and effort trying not to be evil on his journey to earn fat stacks against all odds. -This is a 'Dungeon Core' type fiction with LitRPG elements in it. The start may be fairly slow compared to the average. Expect roughly 2.5k per chapter. -I'm only a hobbyist writer. As such, there may be the occasional error and pacing may be poorly-handled. Constructive criticism is alway welcome. I'm just here to write stuff that makes my brain release the g o o d c h e m i c a l s. -I am trashy and I like monsterpeople so you can expect an awful lot of those as we get further in. Thank you for reading this far, and I hope you enjoy.

Mistakes Lead To Success
Mistakes were made and it led to the death of Natalie Freemen. Her soul was captured and cared for by an young god but such protection come with a cost. Instead of taking the original offer she decided to make a deal. She would rome the multiverse and steal the essence that thrives them. In return she could become a demigod. Updates at random Romance is not the focus but a major plot point. I will take suggestions and corrective criticism. *Important Note* This makes for sense as you read along. This story is created by the viewer but there is a twist. Some chapters are static, meaning that it is to propel the plot. Others have polls that will affect other chapters but without a question. This means you don't know what it effects or in which chapter. I wanted to added this effect to create a suspense, something I didn't feel as much in other reader interactive stories. Your vote could create fortune or misfortune for the main character. I know what it will effect because have a chart that tells me the possible routes. You just have to wait and see what your choice have done. I'll even write which poll effects the chapter in the authors note. Characters could die in the story and they won't be leads anymore. In comments you can ask for a detail chart for each poll but it will only be for one answer per poll. I will chose the most requested answer. I do not own the photo.
