《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 1126. A Good Time For War

Besides their symbiotic characteristic, there were the ineffective long-distance arrows and ineffective short distance attacks with the exception of swords. Executing either one of the characteristics was still manageable for everyone. However, it was going to be a real problem if everything came together.
Otherwise, Wang Yu would already be able to take on both the BOSSes by himself.
After awkward exchanges of glances between the four of them, none of them had any idea how to move on from here.
Five Flagtree told Unfathomable Mystery in a depressing manner, “If only the two of us can take on Bradley by ourselves.”
“What are you joking about…” Unfathomable Mystery refuted, “Didn’t you see how vicious that fella was? We are only capable of escaping from him. There is simply no way we can take him on like that.”
“If only you guys knew how to fly… That way, he’ll never be able to touch you guys,” Mystery Observer joked by the side.
“Fly?”
A listener may perceive an unintended meaning in what is said.
Mystery Observer was merely joking but Wang Yu suddenly had an idea in his head. He hurriedly looked upwards.
Fearless did mention before that fighting a dungeon requires a tremendous amount of knowledge. Other than the need of knowing oneself and the enemy, effective formations for different situation, the flexibility and creativity to make use of everything in the scene was extremely important too.
Other than having a war machine like Wang Yu in the team, the Quan Zhen Sect was able to be successful in every endeavor regardless of PVE or PVP because of Fearless. Fearless’ use of the surrounding and tactics had always been god-like.
Of course, Wang Yu was a fighter who was used to using his brute force to resolve everything. While he didn’t have a gift like Fearless in knowing how to make use of everything around him to plot a scheme, it wouldn’t be that hard to find a suitable spot for them to attack the BOSSes.

Wang Yu kept looking upwards and strolled around as he tried to look for a spot to slot someone in the ceiling.
However, the ceiling of this lair was so high that one couldn’t see the end… Even if someone could stand on the ceiling, there was no way that Unfathomable Mystery and Five Flagtree could have such a long range.
However, if there were no such spots above him, he could look on the ground… After lifting his head for a while, Wang Yu started scanning his surroundings. Finally, his eyes landed on a corner not too far away.
“Brother… Brother Bull? What are you doing?”
Seeing everything Wang Yu was doing, they questioned him faintly.
Damn it! This scene was already eerie enough and Wang Yu had started acting so weird. The three of them were starting to have goosebumps.
“I’m thinking of a plan!” Wang Yu turned around and answered them with a smile.
The lights from the dungeon came from the surrounding jack-o’-lantern. When Wang Yu suddenly turned and smiled in that manner, the entire place turned ten times more frightening than before.
“…”
The three of them retreated subconsciously as they asked in a trembling tone, “So… have you thought of anything?”
“Of course!”
Wang Yu pointed at a wall not too far away as he said, “The two of you can stand and attack from there!”
“Where?”
The three of them looked in the direction of Wang Yu’s finger and under the light from the jack-o’-lantern, everyone could see the position where Wang Yu pointed.
This lair was built in a cave which was why there were plenty of natural upright stones in the lair.
The stone wall that Wang Yu pointed at had two thick stone pillars stuck closely towards the stone wall. The two stone pillars and the stone wall formed an average size space.
Because the stone pillars were circular, the space was narrow on the outside and wide on the outside. The entrance would only allow ordinary-sized players to enter. Massive monsters like Bradley and Hasma were undoubtedly unable to squeeze through it.

Moreover, Bradley’s skills were mostly AOE type and non-directional. Even though the space between the two stone pillars and the stone wall was not big, it should be more than enough to fit three rather skinny and agile players.
The moment Bradley released his skills, everyone simply needed to hide behind the stone pillars to avoid getting hit by them.
“Aiya… This place is indeed pretty decent! It is a perfect spot to attack!”
Unfathomable Mystery and Mystery Observer were both experts in their field so after confirming where Wang Yu wanted them to hide, they immediately understood Wang Yu’s intention. They revealed faces of pleasant surprises.
Mystery Observer let out a long breath, “This landform is suitable for an Archer to attack so it seems like I have nothing to do again…”
“Just you wish!” Wang Yu replied, “Don’t even think about skiving!”
Hearing what Wang Yu said, Mystery Observer turned green, “But there is no way I can take on Hasma.”
No matter how weak Hasma looked when Wang Yu fought him, he was still a top-quality BOSS. Ordinary players like Mystery Observer should never compare themselves to Wang Yu.
“Nobody said you need to take on Hasma.” Wang Yu smiled and continued, “You shall go and block the monster!”
“Take on Bradley?” Mystery Observer almost cried out, “Brother Bull, are you still harping on old grievances after all these while? Getting me to take on Bradley is the same as taking on Hasma…”
Earlier on when Mystery Observer was turned into a departed spirit by Bradley, his consciousness was still there. He was simply unable to control his body. That feeling was not nice at all.
“F*ck!” Wang Yu did not know to laugh or cry, “Do I really look like such a person? Did you forget that Bradley can summon departed spirits? Bradley might not be able to squeeze through but his minions are definitely capable of doing so. You have to ensure that the Archers’ environment is safe. That shouldn’t be a problem right?”
“Alright… I see.” Mystery Observer wiped his sweat and said, “This should be fine…”
Other than the fact that Bradley’s departed spirits could explode, their attributes were actually very ordinary. Moreover, only one departed spirit could pass through a tight entrance so this task should never be a problem for the leader of Mystery Pavilion.
“Great!”
Wang Yu nodded, “The few of you can go ahead to get comfortable there. Once you’re done, we will start round two!”
“Yes, sir!”
The three of them answered as they went ahead to familiarise with their location.
A few minutes later, they replied, “Reporting for duties! This place is decent but there is one problem.”
“What is it?” Wang Yu asked.
“That…” Mystery Observer continued worryingly, “While the space at the wall isn’t big… we seem to have neglected something.”
“What is it?” Wang Yu pried.
“That departed spirit can explode and if any one of them choose to explode at the entrance, all three of us will not be able to escape.”
The space by the wall was a dead end and the departed spirit explosion range was about 500. Exploding at the entrance was definitely not good for them.
“Haha!” Wang Yu smiled sweetly, “I really thought you have a huge problem at hand. The explosion is triggered by certain condition so all I have to do is to ensure that Hasma’s health stays above the 30% mark.”
“So… you’re saying that you can kill him within ten seconds?” Mystery Observer asked in shock.
Wang Yu replied confidently, “Didn’t you see how I killed him in one slash earlier on?!”

Wander West, in Shadow
BOOK 1 COMPLETED A young wizard journeys west, through dark forests and dangerous lands, searching for something. Accompanied by a wild witch who has secrets of her own, they come across terrible creatures, hauntings, cursed villages, and memories from their past. Who else will they meet along their journey, and to find what he is looking for, how far will the wizard have to wander west? NOTE: The above synopsis is intentionally written to be as spoiler-free as possible. If you would like a more in-detail synopsis, one that contains minor spoilers, please check out the "Synopsis" chapter at the beginning of this fiction. If you read and enjoy, please leave a rating or review! FORMERLY TITLED: THE GLIMMERLING This story was formerly titled "The Glimmerling", because the first part was a short story of that title; it has since been expanded upon, thus the title change. Chapters 1-8 (30k words) are the first 'arc', if you want to get a feel for the story. To give some context on the setting: Magic is a bit weaker in this story than you might be used to, and we start off following some relatively new magic users. For some perspective, being able to light a campfire with magic is considered relatively advanced for someone who is the age of the main character. Magic can become very powerful - and there are some examples of powerful wizards within this story - but it's not where the main characters are yet. Part of the story is about following them as they learn more about magic. Enemies are also very dangerous, and running, hiding, or trying to talk their way out of a dangerous situation is often a better choice than fighting for the characters. While I have added tags for traumatizing content, sexuality, violence, swearing, etc. I try to avoid super-explicit descriptions of these things. But they are part of the story.

Dear Spellbook (Rewrite)
Live. Study. Repeat. Tal never saw himself as an adventurer, but the call to adventure never much cared for his opinion. Despite his best efforts, his search for answers on the murder of his parents ever draws him into danger. Accompanied by a group of seasoned warriors, thus far Tal has gotten by on his own meager magical talents, but when one day he wakes up to find himself back in his bed of the night before, he is faced with a challenge he must conquer alone. What to expect: This story was born of an attempt to create in world lore reasons for many of the mechanics and tropes of D&D, but you do not need to know of them to enjoy the story. It's a single POV time loop story with slow paced progression fantasy elements. The story is not one of fast-paced power ups and non-stop action, but as it progresses, the action picks up. There is a lot of magic system exploration on a system built to unify the diverse magic of D&D into one cohesive magic system. The setting is an original world with familiar races and monsters but with new unique origins and motivations. The average chapter will be 2-5k words long, most being around 3k but there are a few less than 1k, due to the nature of the story telling device I used. Book 1 is complete. Posting is on hold until I finish book 2. Book 2 progress: The rough draft is done at 141656 words as of 7/9/2022. I need to reread and edit it but Im aiming for resuming chapters in September.

"Oh boy." Warning! - There is likely not enough tags I can put up for this novel so please take this frontal warning instead. I can promise you a great deal of horror, gore, chaos and pure edge, but also everything on the opposite site of the spectrum from side characters. To be blunt, the MC is not a good person, so unless you're interested in such a thing, I'd strongly advise you to not read Currant Choir.
