《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 1120. A BOSS With No Defense Gap

Just when the three of them were shouting so hard to warn Wang Yu, the next scene immediately resulted in their eyeballs flying out of their eye sockets.
The [Flames of the Nether] were exceedingly fast as it caught up with Wang Yu’s back almost instantly. At the very last moment, Wang Yu twisted his butt as he lowered his head simultaneously. Just like that, Bradley’s multiple [Flames of the Nether] simply brushed past Wang Yu’s shoulder.
The way Wang Yu acted was as though he had eyes at the back of his head. Throughout the whole attack, Wang Yu did not even turn his head. In fact, he didn’t even slow down at all.
Mystery Observer and the two others were completely dumbfounded by what they had just witnessed.
In >, the majority of skills were non-directional skills. Moreover, most skills were slower than arrows and even with the system aid for the longer distance jobs, players simply needed to watch the trajectory of the skill closely. It wasn’t impossible to dodge such a skill.
However, not many people could avoid a series of [Flames of the Nether] fired by Bradley like how Wang Yu did. Even a sharp-eyed expert like Unfathomable Mystery wouldn’t be able to do what Wang Yu did.
Moreover, the speed of the [Flames of the Nether] released by Bradley simply couldn’t be compared to the speed of skills executed by ordinary players.
Ordinary people might stare straight at the attack and still not have enough time to react. However, Wang Yu didn’t even glance at the attack but was able to dodge it so smoothly. His movements were simply shocking and if this hadn’t happened right in front of them, they would never believe such nonsense.
Mystery Observer and the two others were not the only ones who were shocked. Even Bradley, who was behind Wang Yu, shivered slightly when he saw how Wang Yu dodged his own attack. He simply stood there dazedly without continuing his attacks on Wang Yu.

Because Bradley was a departed spirit, he didn’t have any sort of expression on his face. However, one could still feel how shocked Bradley was.
Just when everyone was still astonished at Wang Yu, Wang Yu had already arrived in front of the three of them.
Fortunately, even though the departed spirits summoned by Bradley appeared scary, their attacks were not as impressive… After being nibbled at by the crowd of departed spirits, their health only decreased by 20%.
[Thunder God’s Stomp!]
A wave of lightning spread out from Wang Yu’s feet.
Those terrifying-looking departed spirits were forced to retreat by the knockback effect. At the same time, -30000 damage was seen on their heads.
Following that, the root effects on Mystery Observer and the two others ended as they regained control over their bodies. They looked shockingly at Wang Yu and asked, “You… Did you use external modifications for your movement speed?”
While everyone knew about the perfect anti-modification system in >, they couldn’t help but ask after seeing what Wang Yu did.
“External modifications? How?” Wang Yu was confused as he questioned them instead.
“F*ck…”
Hearing Wang Yu’s question, everyone exchanged glances with each other. From Wang Yu’s tone, he didn’t look like he was lying. It seemed like this fella based everything on his legitimate skills which was what made everything much scarier than before.
At the thought of this, Mystery Observer couldn’t help but break out in cold sweat.
F*ck! He was thankful he didn’t make the wrong decision back then. Otherwise, he would end up in a more perilous state than this.
While Mystery Observer’s heart was still beating rapidly in fear, he heard Wang Yu’s shouts, “What are you still doing there? Hurry up and run if you don’t want to die.”
Just after Wang Yu said that, Bradley swung his staff and yet another [Dark Barrier] rose from the ground.

Having learnt their lesson from before, everyone was more prepared the second time. When they saw Bradley lifting his staff, they immediately dispersed and got out of the range of the second [Dark Barrier].
Without letting everyone take a breather, Bradley knocked his staff on the ground.
“Swoosh!”
A ring of green radiance spread from Bradley’s body.
Wang Yu was extremely familiar with this skill. [Poison Nova] was a skill without any gap in defense as it covered 360 degrees.
As players from the Dark Faction, Mystery Observer and the rest were naturally not familiar with Andrea from the Blood-Soaked Church. Therefore, they looked lost when they saw how the skill was released.
“What are you watching?! Lay down!”
Wang Yu held onto his forehead in desperation as he threw his pole on the knees of Five Flagtree, who wasn’t very far away from him.
“Aiya…”
Five Flagtree cried out as she lay down on the ground and avoided the [Poison Nova].
Unfathomable Mystery was considered a pretty decent expert with quick reaction time. When he heard Wang Yu’s voice, he immediately law down and avoided that too.
However, Mystery Observer was the closest to the BOSS and he was more curious about the skill than the need to avoid it. Before he could react, [Poison Nova] hit his eyes.
“Sii…”
After a weird sound effect, Mystery Observer turned green from head to toe.
-500
-500
…
Shortly after, a series of damages appeared on his head.
This was indeed a shameless BOSS with ridiculous attacks. A level 50 Assassin only had about 20000 HP and with each reduction at 500 HP, Mystery Observer was obviously not going to last long.
Even an immortal doctor couldn’t save him now…
Initially, Mystery Observer wanted to hold on by using medicines but when he saw how quickly his HP was decreasing, he gave up trying to fight it. He was poisoned to death.
Mystery Observer was being pretty optimistic thinking that he would be free of that poison after dying and reviving… However, at the very moment Mystery Observer’s health depleted to zero, Bradley waved his staff.
Mystery Observer’s body suddenly erupted and like how a cicada sheds its carapace, a human skeleton crawled out of Mystery Observer’s body.
That skeleton was very slim as it held a dagger too. It basically looked like Mystery Observer without his flesh.
Everyone hurriedly threw a probing skill over.
Departed Spirit. Mystery Observer (LV 50)
HP: 20000
MP: 5000
Skills: …
Departed Spirit Technique: Bradley, who was the Departed Spirit Shaman Lord, can use his mighty dark magic to turn opponents’ corpse into his own puppets. The puppets shall inherit 80% of the user’s attributes and could last for 1200 seconds.
“Too disgusting…”
Seeing how Mystery Observer turned into Bradley’s slave, Wang Yu and co. couldn’t help but gag a little.
He couldn’t even rest in peace after dying. This way, wouldn’t it be better if they had killed themselves.
Of course, Mystery Observer’s body was no longer in his own control so it wouldn’t be possible for him to kill himself now. Following instructions from Bradley, Mystery Observer wielded his dagger and charged at Five Flagtree.
Five Flagtree’s attacking skills might not be the best but running was her forte. Seeing how Mystery Observer was charging at her, Five Flagtree ran back hurriedly while Mystery Observer continued pursuing her.
Five Flagtree was an Archer so her superiority in terms of agility was evident. Moreover, the current Mystery Observer only had 80% of his original speed so he was basically incapable of catching up with Five Flagtree. However, Unfathomable Mystery looked like he was in a lot of distress watching what Mystery Observer turned into.
“Brother Bull… What do we do now…” Unfathomable Mystery asked Wang Yu.
