《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 1113. Dominica's Lair

“…”
Once Mystery Observer said that, Wang Yu was instantly speechless.
No wonder this fella sounded so dignified… So it turned out that he had an ulterior motive too.
But this was fine because Wang Yu was initially not willing to hand the Black Decree to Shroom Devil King. This sudden appearance and intention of Mystery Observer did make Wang Yu feel better.
Regardless of how provocative Mystery Observer was, the person causing trouble now was Mystery Observer. There was no way she could still take it out on Five Flagtree, right?
Wang Yu was interested in watching them fight because no matter what the outcome was, he wouldn’t be the one suffering any consequences.
“You! What do you mean by that?”
Indeed, Mystery Observer’s sudden appearance turned Shroom Devil King’s initially lush green face into even more green. She pointed at Mystery Observer but did not know what to say.
Mystery Observer smiled happily as he replied, “What do you mean, what do I mean? The higher bidder wins, and I doubt you are lacking in money, right? Or are you saving up for milk?” After saying that, Mystery Observer even intentionally glanced delightfully at the breasts of the Thousand Waves Palace’s players.
Mystery Observer was certainly speaking with venom in his mouth. The fact that Shroom Devil King looked like a child and even recruited a bunch of subordinates like that, she really did look like a person who lacked love when she was young.
Every word was painful to the heart.
Shroom Devil King seemed to be extremely mindful about how others spoke about her so when she heard that, she started cursing like a wild cat whose tail was stomped on, “F*ck you and your entire family!”
“This is getting interesting.”
Wang Yu folded his arms as he watched the two of them exchanged curses.
“Tsk, tsk!” Mystery Observer sneered coldly, “So? City Lord Iron Bull, three thousand gold seems pretty sincere, right?”

“En, it is pretty decent!” Wang Yu scratched his chin.
Since the Black Decree was not his to begin with, being able to sell for three thousand gold was undoubtedly a steal.
“So you’re going to sell it to me, right?” Mystery Observer asked again.
“This…”
Wang Yu hesitated.
The Black Decree was given by Five Flagtree so if he sold this Black Decree to someone else, Five Flagtree would most likely get into trouble again.
It wouldn’t matter how these two parties tried to fight, he just didn’t want an innocent party to be dragged in.
Evidently, Shroom Devil King overestimated the position Five Flagtree held in Wang Yu’s heart. Just when she tried to make things difficult for Wang Yu again, Shroom Devil King pointed at Wang Yu and shouted, “You dare?”
Damn it! It would be fine if Shroom Devil King didn’t say anything but once she said that, Wang Yu’s temper came back.
Who have Wang Yu be scared of? Why does this spoilt child think she can keep threatening him over one person’s wage? The Quan Zhen Sect was filthy rich so they probably wouldn’t mind taking care of one more person.
“Why not?” Wang Yu grunted and threw the Black Decree to Mystery Observer.
Mystery Observer did not expect Wang Yu to be this direct so after receiving the Black Decree, he was so pleased he handed a bag of money to Wang Yu.
Just at this point in time, a white light flashed and Unfathomable Mystery reappeared at the resurrection point. Looking at the Black Decree on Mystery Observer’s hand, Unfathomable Mystery hurried over to warn him, “Boss, you cannot have this item!”
“???”
Mystery Observer was stunned but before he could react or say anything, Shroom Devil King revealed an evil grin on her face before throwing an exact same token as the Black Decree that Mystery Observer had at his feet.

“Boom!”
When the Black Decree landed, it gave rise into a black fog. Concurrently, the Black Decree in Mystery Observer’s hand also exploded.
Following which, the space around Mystery Observer burst into a warped space.
The space underneath the feet of Mystery Observer, Unfathomable Mystery, Wang Yu and even Five Flagtree split open.
Wang Yu’s reaction was the fastest as he subconsciously wanted to jump away. However, that distorted space was like a large hand as it grabbed onto Wang Yu and was hauled back down to the ground. Together with the three others, they were sucked into a spatial vortex and disappeared.
“F*ck! Gave me a scare! How long are you going to continue hiding for? You are clearly an Assassin yet you still choose to hide so far back. No wonder they called you Ratty.”
After the four of them disappeared, Shroom Devil King finally wiped her cold sweat off her forehead. She turned to the back crowd of people before scolding.
“Hehe, I’m sorry to trouble you!”
At this time, an Assassin emerged from the crowd behind with a face full of smiles, “You don’t know how frightening that Iron Bull is. Even if you conceal yourself, he will be able to tell where you are.”
That Assassin had a small sized figure, wretched smile and sparkling eyes. His dagger was on his waist and if Wang Yu hadn’t disappeared, he would definitely be able to recognise this Assassin. This fella was indeed the leader of the Twelve Celestial Bodies, Ratty. “So what? He is also trapped now.” Shroom Devil King looked in the direction of where Wang Yu disappeared and pointed an angry middle finger. She asked Ratty, “What about my brother?”
“He is on his way and Boss has mentioned to give you the first credit!” Ratty smiled, “Tsk but I can’t believe we spend so much money just for him to waste that Black Decree.”
“F*ck!” Shroom Devil King replied, “That is a level 80 dungeon so based on the few of them, I’m guessing they will never be able to make it out in this lifetime.”
“Ai…” Ratty sighed, “Young woman, that was exactly what your brother thought back then… But you should know what happened to him after that right? I’ll be satisfied if this dungeon can keep that fella there for two days, let alone one lifetime.”
“Alright, alright, alright. Just look at how frightened you were.” Shroom Devil King couldn’t help but pout her mouth again.
…
Spatial distortion was merely a blink of an eye and everyone felt a drastic change in the scene. They arrived at an unfamiliar place.
At the same time, the four of them received a system notification.

They will live to regret it. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ This is a story in a fantasy world with lots of fantastical elements, including magic and cultivation. However, there's also some decent technology in this world. Gaining power has a system and nothing comes out of nowhere. Essentially, the setting and background is high fantasy but the focus will be whatever the MC sees, so expect more of a gritty realistic low fantasy most of the time. The MC is not OP and uses his wits and strategy to survive, and maybe even thrive. The warning tags are just there because I don't want any limits to where this story may lead me to writing. *I don't own the cover*

Knights of the Partition
We like to think there are no monsters. No magic, no gods, nothing waiting in the night but the stars and cold, hard science. It’s a comforting thought. It isn't true. Magic isn't common, mind you. Working forces is difficult in the Age of Man, and gods are limited in the ways they interact with the world. The great monsters of old have mostly been slain, or sealed away. But rare or not, the magic isn't gone. The great Working that protects us from the horrors of the past does not have the power to destroy such things. Instead, it created the Partition, a tapestry of worlds beyond the boundary of our own. There the magic roams, searching for a way to come back. I am a Knight of Avalon. One of the protectors of the Partition. How did I get this job? Poor decisions, mostly.

Talius
The two moons of Talius gleam with a hypnotic glow; Araius with the color of a cooling blue, and Kranos beaming in a gentle orange. Arairus obscures Kranos with his enormous celestial body, letting Kranos peek out only halfway. This means that it's the month of Gantelos, the season of cold that hovers over Talius for half a year. It also notifies the residence of this planet that the dreadful Fuune will rise from the deep snow, deep from beneath the crust every night and feast on the humans who inhabit this tundra-infested world.
