《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 1057. Quan Zhen Sect's Moment Of Folly

“Let’s not leave so quickly, there is one more here…”
Seeing that Fearless was about to leave, Frost Blade was a little reluctant to part with him.
Feng Yun Realm was such a profitable victim so his subordinates would likely to possess expensive items on them too. Frost Blade was just starting to have his fun.
Fearless glanced over at Tiger and harrumphed, “There is always another time in the future for this! Let’s go quickly! Their members are committing suicide!”
“Committing suicide?” Frost Blade trembled instinctively.
Within >, players could commit suicide as a means of escape because they might sometimes be inadvertently trapped in an awkward place or get lost in the some complex terrain.
More importantly, the loss of experience through committing suicide was only half that of getting killed.
Feng Yun Realm’s subordinates were not weak but it was difficult to catch them alive, let alone prevent them from committing suicide.
The resurrection point was just a stone throw away from the auction venue. These players who had committed suicide would call for backup and things would spiral into a full-blown fight.
Thinking about this, Frost Blade answered in a resigned manner, “Fine! I will remember this debt! Take cover and retreat!”
Frost Blade’s figure turned hazy as he went into [Stealth] as Ling Longmeng once again rooted Feng Yun Realm and Tiger to the ground.
Boson and Crotchy Lord immediately threw Feng Yun Realm to the ground and raced out of his field of vision. Meanwhile, Fearless gracefully flitted up to the roof.
When Ratty and the rest arrived, only the naked Feng Yun Realm and Tiger were there.
Upon seeing that Feng Yun Realm was in such a bad condition, Ratty and his comrades were stunned.
Ratty pulled out a coat and threw it over Feng Yun Realm before exclaiming, “This… Have you met with some hooligans?”

Feng Yun Realm tightened his coat as he furiously replied, “Have you ever seen hooligans robbing others? I have lost all my items! They are obviously bandits! F*ck!”
“Did you lose everything?” Ratty was taken aback by Feng Yun Realm’s strong reaction and inquired, “That bunch of robbers did not happen to eye your City Lord Seal, did they?”
Although Freedom City was relatively safe, there was no telling what some people might do when they are desperate.
This was especially so for invaluable items such as the City Lord Seal. There were countless players coveting the item.
Many of the larger guilds would have a big motive in committing such a robbery because they had the necessary resources to do so.
However, it was difficult to go around and accuse these big guilds of any potential crimes they might have committed because they would not tolerate anyone trying to smear their reputation. If Feng Yun Realm was to confront any one of those guilds, he would be met with a sorry end.
“No!” Feng Yun Realm shook his head.
“How could you know?” Ratty was slightly annoyed when he got shut down for being concerned about Feng Yun Realm’s affairs.
He really couldn’t figure out what else Feng Yun Realm had that was worth such a risk.
Feng Yun Realm took out the seal as he replied, “The reason is that they had taken the seal, but yet they voluntarily returned it.”
“???”
Ratty was bewildered and there were a million questions in his head.
How is this even possible? That should not have been the case… Did the robbers catch Feng Yun Realm just to strip him of his clothing?
It was not that Ratty was of low intellect and could not understand the situation. It was that that compared to the City Lord Seal, whatever the robbers had taken was not even worth mentioning.

The act of Quan Zhen Sect returning the City Lord Seal was akin to a moment of folly.
Risking so much just to steal a few pieces of equipment in Freedom City was a real head-scratcher.
However, the Quan Zhen Sect members did not think that way. They were not picky in deciding who to rob… Every player was a potential target. Furthermore, they knew how the City Lord Seal was not as valuable as other players viewed it to be. The equipment that they stole was worth much more in their eyes to the City Lord Seal.
After racking his brain, Ratty still could not ascertain the motive of Feng Yun Realm’s pursuers so he continued inquiring, “How many of them were there?”
He ventured into another line of questioning since investigating their motives yielded no result.
Feng Yun Realm thought for a moment before exclaiming, “Four of them! One Priest! Two Warriors and one Assassin!”
Tiger at the side corrected, “That’s not completely right. There should be one more Archer hidden in the shadows!”
“Oh, yes! There is one more Archer but his skills are so poor that he couldn’t even get his target.”
Feng Yun Realm indeed had some thick skin. He was fleeced so badly yet he had the galled to ridicule others for their skills.
“What about their appearances?” Ratty further inquired.
“They covered their faces! The Priest was clad in a white robe while the two Warriors had imposing figures and were carrying shields. Oh, there was also a middle-aged man holding a two-handed sword and he had a very wretched appearance.”
“This…” Ratty scratched his head and continued, “What you have been describing are attributes unique to the different classes. Are there any other details that are more specific to your pursuers? For example their skills or their equipment?”
“Equipment was pretty ordinary, nothing noteworthy… With regards to skills… The Assassin has a skill that allows him to steal,” Feng Yun Realm detailed all that he remembered.
“Wow!” Ratty facepalmed. He had spent half a day yet they were getting nowhere with the questioning.
Without more specific characteristics and information about the perpetrators, even if this was Freedom City, there was no way to arrest anyone.
Not much could be expected of Feng Yun Realm because he was not a professional player. How could he remain completely calm and rational in the face of getting robbed? At this moment, Tiger who was at the side chimed into the conversation, “That Priest seemed to have a very unique skill.”
“Oh? What kind of skill could that be?” Ratty looked meaningfully at him.
Tiger quipped, “I am not too sure about the specifics of the skill, but the skill could change the environment.”
Ratty was taken aback, “Changing the environment? Is there such a skill?”
“Hm!” Tiger nodded and continued, “When they suddenly appeared, we were already surrounded by a pink fog.”
“Can they even create foggy weather? Are they any other effects?” Ratty pressed for more details as his brows furrowed.
Ratty was also an expert himself, after playing the game for so long he had yet to hear of such skills.
“I am not sure of any specifics but we were all rooted when the fog was around us so I suspect that is the effect of the fog.”
Hearing Tiger’s explanation, Ratty was getting more and more baffled, “An AOE root skill? Why does it sound more and more ludicrous?”
