Hence, Heavenly Dragon schemingly lured Wang Yu into mid-air while the killer move was next.

Initially, Wang Yu had Qing Gong and could dodge it but when he was escaping from Heavenly Dragon, he used up his Qing Gong points and could no longer use his four jumps in a row now.

Seeing how Wang Yu was about to be trapped by Heavenly Dragon’s spell, a “hula” sound was heard and a pair of white wings appeared on his back. Once his wings spread, Wang Yu soared high up, surpassing Heavenly Dragon’s lock chain, into the sky.

“God… God Race?” Seeing Wang Yu’s wings, Heavenly Dragon was stunned by Wang Yu again.

Damn, he killed Gods and Dragons, and even had the wings of God and the bloodline of the Dragon Race, how talented was he to be able to reach this step?

The Dragon and God Races were the two top races to be in existence. Wang Yu had offended both of them both sides before and yet, now he dared to blatantly use the relics of both races… Damn, Heavenly Dragon was huge but seeing Wang Yu did make him shudder in fear. Of course, if he was not at his wits’ end, Wang Yu did not want to use this pair of wings.

After all, Wang Yu had never really flown before. Just based on agility, qinggong which was reliant on his skills was way more agile than this pair of flamboyant wings.

Furthermore, Heavenly Dragon knew how to fly too. Wang Yu could not go invisible in the sky so with just these amateur moves, how could he match up to Heavenly Dragon?

If he had anyway else to escape, Wang Yu would not bother using this.

Heavenly Dragon just lost focus for a while and Wang Yu flew above him. He spread his wings, looked up and blew a [Dragon Breath]. He followed close behind the [Dragon Breath] and charged up.

However, when he reached the same height as Wang Yu, he realised Wang Yu had gone missing.

“Hey!! Coward, come out!” Heavenly Dragon roamed around in the sky and still did not find Wang Yu so in a fit of anger, he scolded loudly.

Sky Dragon City’s players were hiding in the safe area shivering in fear when they saw that huge dragon flew here and there.

In the past, everyone thought that a yelling huge dragon on the streets was just part of a show but this seemed like the end of the world.

“Idiot, can you shut up?”

Just as Heavenly Dragon was reaching the peak of his scolding, suddenly a familiar voice rang across. It followed by Heavenly Dragon feeling a sharp pain from the back of his neck.

A huge gold damage floated from Heavenly Dragon’s head. The players below just then realised that there was someone riding on Heavenly Dragon’s neck.

“Lowly human? Scram from my back!”

After all, he was from the prideful Dragon Race. Having a human ride on his back was a great insult to him. As Heavenly Dragon yelled, he spun and swept in the sky, trying to throw Wang Yu down.

Witful Wang Yu had experience slaying a dragon so he did not let Heavenly Dragon have his way so easily. The moment he climbed on Heavenly Dragon’s back, he took out a rope from his back and tied it onto his neck.

Wang Yu used one hand to grab the rope as though he had Heavenly Dragon on a leash while he stood firmly on his back, and at the same time, used the other hand to stab with a longsword again and again, relentlessly stabbing into Heavenly Dragon’s wound along his scales.

There were no bloody scenes in the game so no matter how much strength Wang Yu used, nothing spurted out from Heavenly Dragon’s wound.

Only the numbers floating out of his head could tell everyone how ruthless he was.

As Wang Yu attacked, Heavenly Dragon’s HP was running low.

Heavenly Dragon knew he would not be alive for long so he sadly looked down at his civilians on the streets. A giant tear rolled out of his eye as he spread his wings to fly out of Sky Dragon City with Wang Yu.

Wang Yu was a soft-hearted person. Upon seeing Heavenly Dragon like that, he did not feel good too. After all, Heavenly Dragon was minding his own city lord business and brought wealth and prosperity to Sky Dragon City but he just came around wanting to kill him… He was indeed inhumane.

However, a quest was still a quest… Wang Yu could not help that.

When Heavenly Dragon flew out of Sky Dragon City, Wang Yu began attacking him again.

Finally, Heavenly Dragon’s HP was depleted and he swept down from mid-air.

“Boom!!!”

Heavenly Dragon landed on the ground, causing a huge hole in the ground.

Wang Yu leaped up and landed stably beside Heavenly Dragon.

With his last breath, Heavenly Dragon glanced at Wang Yu who returned to his original form. He was first shocked then forced a smile, saying, “So it is Twilight City’s City Lord. I shall entrust my people to you, I hope you know what you are doing.”

The dragon’s last words were kind which showed that Heavenly Dragon’s love for Sky Dragon City was genuine.

Wang Yu guiltily said, “Dragon City Lord, I’m sorry, this is for a quest.”

“I know!” Heavenly Dragon nodded with a smile and his giant body turned into balls of white light.

You have earned the title, “Sky Dragon City’s City Lord”.

You have earned the title, “Dragon-slaying Warrior”.

You have earned the title, “Guardian of Sky Dragon City”.>

At the same time, a system notification appeared in the game’s sky: >, Sky Dragon City’s City Lord betrayed the city and massacred it. A Dragon-slaying Warrior resisted him and kill the traitor. His heroic actions will be written in history forever…>

Seeing these titles, rewards and merits, it was weird that Wang Yu did not feel proud. Instead, he felt as though he had done something wrong.

It was probably Heavenly Dragon’s final words which affect Wang Yu as he was not stone-hearted. Seeing how Heavenly Dragon still had his people on his mind during his last moments, Wang Yu was touched.

“If Quan Zhen Sect came, it might not end this way.” Wang Yu shook his head and thought, “It was just a game and it seemed like he was getting too engrossed in it.”

After picking up the items Heavenly Dragon dropped, Wang Yu sat at where Heavenly Dragon fell on to recover some strength. Just then, Wang Yu’s notification started blinking non-stop.

“Boss Iron Bull? Where did you go?”

“Brother Bull? Why aren’t you speaking?”

“Bull…”

Opening the notification column, the first series of messages were sent by Nine Solitary Spears which were about the same.

Brother Bull, where are you? Why are you not speaking? When can I be the City Lord…

Seeing Nine Solitary Spears’ questions, Wang Yu could not be bothered to reply to him. The first two questions were brainless and as for the last question… Heavenly Dragon handed the City Lord position to Wang Yu in his last breath so it was not for Nine Solitary Spears.
