《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 1014. Assassinating Heavenly Dragon

“Battle? Why?” Wang Yu heard him and suddenly felt that Dales was up to no good.
As the saying goes, with a bribe comes an evil intent. Wang Yu knew very well how the NPCs in the game were like.
The higher their intelligence, the more they enjoyed exploiting players. Dales was an exceptional NPC so how could he be so nice to give him an equipment and title upon their first meeting…
He knew that there was no free lunch in this world.
Indeed, after hearing what Wang Yu said, Dales laughed and said, “You know who Heavenly Dragon of Sky Dragon City is, right?”
“Yes, I know!” Wang Yu nodded, knowing that it was nothing to lie about.
“He is a betrayer of the Dragon Race. Use all you’ve learnt to kill him!”
“What!?” Wang Yu was shocked upon seeing the system notification.
Heavenly Dragon was not to be trifled with. Not only was the city’s main residence highly guarded, Heavenly Dragon was also of the same standard as Wylie, the City Lord.
As Heavenly Dragon had the Dragon Race blood running in him, his abilities were naturally stronger than humans’. Although he was also level 80, Heavenly Dragon’s abilities were definitely comparable to a level 100 BOSS who had broken through the peak level of their job.
Back when Wang Yu was against Wylie, his abilities were completely incomparable. If he had not found Wylie’s weak points in time, he would not have turned the tides. Now that he had to go against Heavenly Dragon of the same abilities… It was realistically impossible.
“Uncle, can I do another quest?” Wang Yu asked after some thought.
Calling him his uncle made it sound like he was family as Wang Yu believed Dales would not feel nothing.
“Well…” Dales hesitated then said, “Nephew, I see you as my family so I have already made it easier for you. If you still want to do another quest, it is not impossible but I’m afraid you might not be able to do it.”

Dales spoke as he clenched his fist so tight that cracking sounds could be heard.
Wang Yu saw Dales’ actions and he thought to himself: Damn, could the other quest be to fight him?
Based on how despicable the system was, such things were not impossible.
Think about it, no matter how skillful Heavenly Dragon was, at least he had a chance to win but with Dales’ abilities, a BOSS who could tear space apart with bare hands, wouldn’t it be an easy feat for him to tear a person apart?
Although Wang Yu was strong, he was not a pompous person. If he had to choose between the two of them, of course Wang Yu would not challenge someone so incredible.
After weighing the pros and cons, Wang Yu could only agree, “Alright, I’ll just look for Heavenly Dragon!”
“Good, good!” Dales nodded his head satisfactorily then said, “You are indeed the descendant of the Martial God. I shall await your good news.”
As he spoke, Dales once again tore space apart and threw Wang Yu in…
At the same time, at Apocalypse’s headquarters, Nine Solitary Spears was fuming mad as he looked at Brother Light and the rest, “F*ck, you are a bunch of useless idiots! Forget how you guys lost the treasure, our guild’s main city fame has dropped more than a hundred points! Do you know how long did it take us to accumulate one hundred-odd fame?”
Brother Light felt wronged and said, “This is all because Iron Bull came for us!”
“Damn!” Nine Solitary Spears heard him and gritted his teeth, saying, “Iron Bull, Iron Bull! What a horrible Quan Zhen dog. There were forty to fifty of you, why did you guys not dare to fight back?”
Brother Light said, “We had a lot of people but it does not mean that we could have taken Iron Bull on…”

“What did he say?” Nine Solitary Spears asked after hearing what Brother Light said.
“He said that so long as we gave him the treasure, he would not kill…”
“F*ck! F*ck! F*ck! You idiots!” Nine Solitary Spears broke into greater anger!
Although he was fuming mad, Nine Solitary Spears acknowledged Wang Yu’s abilities. After he vented his anger, Nine Solitary Spears said upsetly, “The City Lord is very angry at how we lost the treasure but he gave us a quest to make up for it.”
“What quest?” Brother Light and the rest asked out of curiosity after hearing so.
Nine Solitary Spears casually shared the quest and said, “Guard the city’s main residence”.
Everyone carefully looked at its content then spoke while in thoughts, “Trim the grass, clean the courtyards, how is this guarding the city’s main residence, this is making us do lowly chores.”
Nine Solitary Spears said angrily, “Rubbish, didn’t we fail the great task to deliver treasures? Damn it, just pray that this time around, Iron Bull won’t cause more trouble!”
Hearing what Nine Solitary Spears said, everyone quickly said, “Boss, don’t jinx it, what if…”
“F*ck!” Seeing how his subordinates were so unnecessarily wary, Nine Solitary Spears was on the brink of breaking down.
Of course, Wang Yu’s mood at the moment was not too great. If he was in Twilight City with Quan Zhen Sect who had well-abled people, at least he would have a helping hand. However, he was new to Sky Dragon City without any friends. It was not going to be easy killing their City Lord single-handedly.
It was as unrealistic as if he was given a fruit knife and was ordered to assassinate a country’s president.
Wang Yu helplessly sent a help message into his guild chat, “Anyone here? I need help!”
Honestly, Wang Yu did not want to trouble this bunch of despicable people. Although Quan Zhen Sect treated their own people well, they would seize any opportunity to mock one another. These *ssholes were the kind to not help but still mock you.
As expected, once Wang Yu sent out the message, Quan Zhen Sect’s guild chat was in chaos, “F*ck, Old Bull, weren’t you doing an awakening quest?”
“I’m doing it but I’m facing a tough challenge,” Wang Yu said despondently.
“Damn, no way. What kind of quest can make our Bull God helpless?” Hearing what Wang Yu said, everyone said in surprise.
Now that everyone was at level 50 and were doing awakening quests, everyone was doing their own thing and most of them could settle their own quest.
Wang Yu’s abilities were obviously not questioned by the rest but who knew what great trouble did Wang Yu got himself into such that he had to ask others for favours.
Wang Yu said, “Assassinate Sky Dragon City’s City Lord, Heavenly Dragon!”
“F*ck!”
Everyone was dumbfounded after hearing what Wang Yu said.
“Damn, could the system dare to be any more shameless!” everyone exclaimed.
“Dare!” Wang Yu said devastatingly, “If I don’t assassinate Heavenly Dragon, I will have to fight the Holy Dragon Emperor one-on-one…”
“F*ck!!” This time, everyone was completed stunned.
Damn, this was indeed the top expert. Even his quest caused them to break out in cold sweat.
“Someone help me…” Wang Yu bawled in sadness.
“Erm,” everyone hesitated for a bit before saying, “Old Bull, we are doing awakening quests too… It is not that we don’t want to help you but if we do change to another quest, we will need to let go of what we are doing and go over. Based on your current quest, do you think a few of us can be of much help?”

Living in Paradise
The first thing I saw when I woke up was a group of people standing over me shouting "Happy Birthday!!!". Immediately after they start debating what type of world I came from and calling me 'William'. Later on I would learn that everyone here is reborn from another world and many children come with magic or superpowers or other gifts leftover from their old lives. I came from a world that was, to me, typical modernity. To them it was pretty boaring with the only thing interesting about my world being was a higher than average tech level for a non-spacefaring civilization; technology that wouldn't even work in this new world. All I brought with me was a peculiar mindset and the strong suspicion that there must be something more to life. Once everyone started to clear out my mother took me up in her arms, explained how the world works, and then stabbed me in the neck with a knife. I got better. -------------------- This story was written from the central idea of a simple question: What if a videogame like world, with all the normal video-game staples and tropes, was actually a real world? How would that work? How would people understand the universe around them? What sort of weirdness would the world appear to have from the point of view of someone who recognizes the odd nature of the place? And finally, if left to its own devices, how would this type of world ultimately develop?

The advent of the Empire’s ancient enemy could upset the careful balance of power throughout in the Sol System. When Hod is invaded by the Empire, Andros Aeton is pressed into their service and his people are held hostage. Unbeknownst to him, factions within the Empire vie to use him to their own ends. He must claim his heritage if he has any hope of escaping the clutches of the forces that seek to use him." This is a work in progress. Major editing will be done after the book is complete, so there will be egregious typos and parts that make no sense whatsoever. Please feel free to point any and all of these things out. Chapters WILL get edited, and that editing might break earlier chapters. I will attempt to keep readers apprised of all changes. As always, feedback is welcome and appreciated. World Labyrinth
Meet our hero: an average young man with an average life, who ended up dying while working an average job. However, he's a given a chance to see another world at the final crossroads of his old life. The catch... well... he knows there's one. There always is. But, hey, when you're about to die, you take whatever opportunity's provided to you. This is the young man's story in the new world as he learns he can't afford to be average anymore. AUTHOR'S NOTE: I've decided to put this note up due to some comments and ratings left for this ORIGINAL FICTION complaining its boring. This story starts slow and it takes time for things to pick up. Also the MC doesn't start off as superman or become superman magically in two chapters. He also is AVERAGE... so it takes time to build up his character. Starting chapter 14 or so things pick up, but this isn't a pure hack and slash and skills level up story like most of the FF on this site. Just giving you a warning, so you don't end up disappointed and end up having to post large paragraphs complaining about the story... I also post on average every TWO OR THREE DAYS, so you'll get more to read.
