These guys were really as unreasonable as what the rumours said.

They were the ones who spoiled the market but were instead the ones calling others useless.

Everybody were from big guilds and were influencers in their main city. Now that they were getting laughed at by Fearless, they could not hold it in anymore.

Fearless acted as if he was surprised and said, “Of course you are! Don’t tell me that there’s a problem with your IQ too?”

Just when Deception and the rest wanted to rage, Ming Du said casually, “Why waste effort with these useless people, Fearless? Just kill them!”

After saying that, Ming Du raised his staff and wanted to cast a spell.

The crowd had all seen Ming Du’s cruel attack that could kill a warrior within seconds. After seeing him raise his staff, they retreated by reflex.

Though these people were used to riding roughshod over people, they were not silly and knew that Twilight City was not their home ground. Hence, they knew that even if they were killed by Ming Du, it would be hard for them to make a comeback after that.

“Are you sure Quan Zhen Sect wants to have tension with us, Fearless?” Deception said after retreating out of Ming Du’s attacking range.

Fearless still maintained his expression and said, “I don’t mean to have tensions with anyone. The higher payer seals the deal. I cannot let these guildless players be at a disadvantage just because you guys are from big guilds.”

“Well said!”

After what Fearless said, all the players in that area cheered.

Though these guildless players did not have a say, they all agreed to what Fearless said secretly.

Fearless’s words were indeed too high-sounding, but indeed, lowering their purchasing price would not only cause no disadvantage, but it would also save Quan Zhen Sect some money too.

Ultimately, it was those guildless players that would be at a disadvantage.

Though Quan Zhen Sect had a bad reputation, they were still much better than the big guilds who only cared about their own survival.

Seeing how Deception and the rest acted, the players got even angrier.

Soon enough, the emotions of these guildless players wavered.

“Fearless is right, how could you call yourselves a big guild? My fragments were originally from Quan Zhen Sect, and I would rather give it back to them rather than sell it to you!”

“That’s right! I will not sell it to you even if you offered two thousand gold!”

Seeing these angered people, Deception and the rest were struck by surprise and did not expect Fearless to attack instead.

After what Fearless said, everyone did not bother about the price of the fragments anymore but instead focused on the fact that they were suppressed by these big guilds.

Even if Quan Zhen Sect did not want to lower their prices and the players wanted to sell at a higher price, the big guilds would not bother about them either.

Deception looked at Fearless and sighed. He did not expect that simple words from him would turn the whole situation upside-down.

No wonder Quan Zhen Sect could still survive in the game despite their evil doings all these years.

Deception knew that there was no point arguing anymore, so he gave in.

“Oh? How much are you selling it for?” Deception raised his brows and questioned.

Fearless replied, “Pugilist Fragment, fifteen hundred gold; Assassin Fragment, three thousand gold!”

“Are you joking with me right now? Even if you don’t want to sell them, what gives you the reason to do this to us?” Deception was pissed.

Even a gold-grade Assassin weapon only cost 3000 gold. A fragment that cost 3000 gold was twice the market rate and only idiots would pay for it.

Fearless laughed and replied, “I truly want to sell it, and the price is already discounted!”

“Nevermind, we can’t afford it!” Deception snorted and walked away. The rest followed.

Fearless was not surprised at their departure at all and shouted, “Come find me if you ever need it, just that it won’t be at a discounted price anymore!”

Deception almost fell to the ground after hearing what Fearless said. Everyone could not help but laugh at Deception’s battered state.

After having an opponent like Deception, Quan Zhen Sect’s position in everyone’s heart magnified.

Right now, the guildless players would sell their fragments to nobody else but Quan Zhen Sect, and even those who originally just wanted to watch started to sell theirs.
