Don’t underestimate Mo Xiaobei just because she is a woman. She is in fact far more loyal and daring in her dealings compared to many other men.

As the former Team Leader of Team Red Flame, her opinions held some weight among her comrades. Once she had agreed to Fearless’s demands, the rest gave their silent approval.

“Fearless, you just give us your order. We will definitely follow as you say.” After all the arrangements were settled, Mo Xiaobei told Fearless resolutely.

Fearless indifferently replied, “There is nothing much for me to order. Your team has a total of eleven members while mine has also the same number. We shall split according to our teams for the quest.”

“Split? What do you mean split?”

Mo Xiaobei was a little bewildered at Fearless’s instructions. These bunch were really daring. They clearly knew that they were the targets by many other guilds and yet they were willing to split up the additional manpower. If Mo Xiaobei did not know of their extraordinary prowess beforehand, she would have thought they were crazy.

Fearless simply said, “Our teams will cooperate with each other with each of your member getting shadowed by one of ours.”

“One player to protect us? How is that enough…” an Assassin on the sidelines interjected.

This Assassin’s name was extremely overbearing. He was called Bai Yutang. He had a very cautious character and was already very apprehensive of the plan to be bait. Upon hearing that he only had one other player to protect him, he grew even warier.

That reaction was very normal since the enemies that Quan Zhen Sect was going to face were far from pushovers themselves. There were over ten guilds hot their pursuit so far and many of these were top tier guilds.

Although these teams only send out one team, these teams were usually the elite players of their respective guilds.

Although the players from Quan Zhen Sect were strong, for one player to be fighting against an elite team, the odds were not in their favour.

Yet, they had no worries about their predicament.

Ming Du was shouting loudly, “Pairing a guy and a girl player in a team sounds good. What does Lady Xiaobei think about pairing up with me… Rest assured, I will never let any harm come onto her!”

Ming Du’s sudden input made the others rolled their eyes at him. Vainglory quickly interjected, “Don’t be so presumptuous; did you have a look at your appearance first before saying that? You old fogeys should just stay here instead.”

“What a bunch of farts, do you want to piss me off?” Spring Halo was not willing to show any weakness and raised his staff to hit Vainglory.

Seeing that Quan Zhen Sect was still relaxed and was still joking around, Bai Yutang and the rest of Team Red Flame was dumbfounded.

F*ck, are these bunch of people really the ones getting chased? How come they sound like they are on holiday?

Just as everyone was still in a lull, Rolling Mario broke the silence as he declared, “Those in favor of Brother Bull pairing up with me will gain my approval to pair up with Xiaobei!”

Once Rolling Mario said those words, the entire Quan Zhen Sect immediately raised their hands…

“Hehe, Brother Bull, you don’t mind pairing up, right…” Rolling Mario smiled at Wang Yu cheekily.

Wang Yu replied nonchalantly, “I have no preference on this matter. I am also fine going alone.”

“Who is Xiaobei going with then?” Everyone pressed Rolling Mario for a satisfactory answer.

Rolling Mario grinned as he said, “Since everybody has an equal share in this, I shall let Xiaobei choose for herself!”

“F*ck, you are really shameless!”

The crowd descended into a raucous uproar.

Everyone only calmed down after Mo Xiaobei expressed her opinion.

Wang Yu was a pillar of Quan Zhen Sect and his strength was indisputable. Xiaobei’s first thought was that she wanted to pair up with Wang Yu but he was already taken up by Rolling Mario. In the end, she had to settle for Fearless…

Mo Xiaobei was not particularly close with any of the Quan Zhen Sect members but she thought Fearless might be a more reliable partner compared to the rest…

As for poor Bai Yutang, he was paired with Spring Halo.

Spring Halo was extremely dissatisfied with his pairing… However, the feeling was mutual from Bai Yutang.

Bai Yutang would have definitely kicked up a fuss if not for Quan Zhen Sect’s superior strength.

Fearless had commanded tens of thousands of players in battle before. Organising a group of twenty players this time was child’s play for him. As the pairings were settled, he dispatched them one by one out of Rolling Mario’s shop. Each pair went in a separate different to complete their mission.

At this moment, Second-order Hall and Shady Glow received an update, “The target has left the safe area and is on the move, his coordinates are…”

“Scr*w this! I want to back out!” Second-order Hall suddenly asserted.

“Back out? Why?” Shady Glow inquired.

Second-order Hall harboured lingering fear in his heart as he replied, “The players from Quan Zhen Sect are way too cold-hearted! I don’t think it is wise to seek conflict with them.”

Although Quan Zhen Sect’s fear-inducing reputation preceded them, it was something heard from others through word of mouth. After interacting with them, Second-order Hall could only conclude that this reputation was well deserved.

After playing the game for so long, Second-order Hall would have had his fair share of deaths… However, when facing the Quan Zhen Sect, all he felt was an irrational fear coursing through his mind…

“You don’t understand at all! The enemies you faced are different from the ones I fought.”

Seeing Second-order Hall fighting to justify himself, April Jade could no longer watch him. “All the players were dead, how different could it be. You only have yourself to blame for your inferior strength. Are you getting cold feet now? There is no turning back.”

“I agree. We were also annihilated but it is not as bad as you described,” a Shield Warrior named Wheeling Panda chimed in.

Wheeling Panda’s team was the first team to ambush Wang Yu.

Second-order Hall snapped back, “Nonsense, the strength of your team was rubbish. Getting annihilated was definitely expected of you guys!”

“What do you mean? You sound like you have a bone to pick with our Steel War Chariot!”

Wheeling Panda did not have a good temper. He could accept being ridiculed by others but Second-order Hall had fared no better than them. It was not his place to look down on them.

“What? If you are not happy, you can try to take it out on me!” Second-order Hall was not to be outdone.

Seeing a conflict about to brew, the player that provided the coordinates updates said, “The target has changed its position. I have to recalibrate and find him. If you guys continue to delay, I will not refund your money!”
