《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 950. Creating God-Grade Equipment

Wang Yu was not very interested in the titles and scanned pass that part. He opened up the skills tab and expanded on the secondary job page.
[Forgemaster Level Magical Refining] – A skill that is the combination of refining and smelting.
[Creation] – Blacksmith basic skill, Magical Refining could create top quality items.
[Fusion] – Allows the user to fuse equipment of the same grade.
[Enchanters] – A skill that provides strengthening and maintaining for equipments and other attributes.
[Reforge] – Allows the user to reset the attributes of an item. It can also restore special items that are unusable.
Skill introduction: A secret forging skill passed down from the ancient times, reportedly a secret skill used by the Titans to repair and make God-Grade equipment!
Forgemaster level Magical Refining and top grade Magical refining did not have much of a difference. Other than the forging option becoming creation, the only other difference was that there was an additional line of introduction below.
However, it was this line that caught Wang Yu’s attention.
Secret skill to create God-grade equipment? That’s too much.
In the game setting, forging skills that players owned could only be used to create obsidian equipment at the very best.
Even though Wang Yu had already created an Ancient level equipment before, he knew that Martial Artist’s Regret was already a blueprint for God-grade equipment and he merely just used its basics and reforged it. The cost of materials required for reforge could even make Evil Rampage cry.
Creating a God-grade weapon normally just meant to restore the Martial Artist’s Regret’s original appearance and had nothing to do with actual creation.
Actual creation meant making something out of nothing.
Besides, in > settings, the true God-grade equipment were considered legendary equipment. Ancient equipment were simply quasi God-grade equipment.
The ability to create God-grade equipment out of nothing was really impressive.
However, the system had been very strict, since it said that it could create weapons, there would be a certain percentage of it succeeding. Wang Yu thought about it and sent a message to Evil Rampage, “Do you have any sketches for creating God-grade equipment? Give me two of them.”

“Brother, I know that my men offended you… However, we can’t hold grudges against each other.” After a few minutes, Evil Rampage replied.
Wang Yu replied angrily, “Do I look like someone who holds grudges? Give me two pieces of sketches, quick.”
“You are still holding grudges… I can give you something else, because I really don’t have such things with me.” Evil Rampage sounded like he could cry.
“…” Wang Yu did not know that those sketches were scarce.
True enough though, it had only been a few months since the launch of the game and sketches for Obsidian equipment were already scarce, and it would be even more so for God-grade equipment. Moreover, most God-grade equipments were made by completing quests or treasure hunting, and there was no such thing as sketches.
After thinking it through, Wang Yu decided to asked Simba since he was the Divine Smith and would definitely know something about creating God-grade equipment.
Simba looked like he was ready for some alone time, sitting in front of his blacksmith shop looking at the sunset. He looked just like a lonely old man who just lost his partner. Of course, he was just a lonely old man because he never had a partner.
Looking at Simba, Wang Yu’s heart ached for him. Wang Yu handed Simba a cup of wine and said, “Drink a little and forget.”
“Aye, what matter do you have now again, little fella?” Simba was also a wily old fox and knew that Wang Yu would not give him anything for nothing in return.
“Hehe!” Wang Yu smiled and said, “What’s up with the creation of God-grade equipment?”
“Oh? You used the Soul of the Gods already?” Simba was not surprised by Wang Yu’s question. A normal person would definitely want to use it unless he or she was already a God.
“Mm!” Wang Yu nodded.

Simba replied, “You can’t create any God-grade equipment with your current standard. You have to get the Creator Gem and God-grade materials first. The feather I gave you was considered a God-grade material, but I definitely don’t have the Creator Gem.”
“Creator Gem?” Wang Yu took out the box that Wylie gave and put it in front of Simba and said, “This is it, right?”
After seeing the Creator Gem in Wang Yu’s hands, Simba’s eyeballs almost fell out. He exclaimed, “Yes, yes, this is it. I didn’t know that you would have this.”
“All thanks to you.” Wang Yu said quietly and opened the page for Magical Refinement and put a piece of Creator Gem and the feather in.
Just like what Simba said, after putting these two things in, the Holy Feather had an attributes introduction.
Holy Feather – Precious, material for God-grade equipment creation, could not…
After looking at the attributes, Wang Yu clicked on ‘create’.
“Main component? What is that?” Wang Yu was very confused… He did not know that it would be so hard to just create a God-grade equipment.
“Something that matches the God-grade material.” Simba continued, “Something like normal equipment’s model or sketch.”
A model or sketch that matched the Holy Feather?
Wang Yu could not understand anything as it was too broad a category to find… He decided to think about it later on.
Wang Yu shook his head and closed the page. However, another notification popped out.
“F*ck! Why is it like that?” This notification threw Wang Yu off.
What kind of setting was this even? Cancelling creation at the expense of materials?
There was still a few pieces of Creator Gem, but as for the Holy Feather, that was the only one. Moreover, it was Simba’s precious collection and it would be almost impossible to find another one anytime soon.
Seeing Wang Yu’s current state, Simba was entertained, “Haha, you fella, God-grade equipment is a sacred existence. If you start, you have to put in your all and never give up.”
Wang Yu could not decide if this NPC was evil or not. One moment, he was feeling down and the next moment he could feel happy just by seeing others misfortune. What kind of qualities is this?
Wang Yu worriedly replied, “Stop laughing, come and help.”
“How can I help?!” Simba pointed to the sky and pouted, “We are not as free as you think we are. Think carefully, do you have something related to feathers, perhaps feather arrows, feather pens or wings?”
“Wings?” After hearing Simba out, Wang Yu was stunned as he thought of something and started scrambling through the ring space.
After awhile, Wang Yu dug out something from the deepest corner of the space. It was a pair of pure white wings.
Angel’s Wings (Cloak) (Damaged) (Reparable) (Cannot be worn)
Item introduction: The symbol of an Angel’s strength. The special equipment for specific places.
“Titan God, you would never think of what I had just seen! This is too crazy!” After seeing the Angel’s Wings that Wang Yu took out, Simba panicked and said to Wang Yu seriously, “What are you doing? Keep it immediately, or the Sanctum of Light would not forgive you.”
“Sanctum of Light has control over a Neutral Faction? Just tell me if this can be used or not.” Wang Yu already did stuff that offended the Sanctum of Light and did not care about committing another offence.
“Yes!” Simba nodded.
“Then all is good!” Wang Yu threw the Angel’s Wings into the creation window.

BODY&SHADOW
AN ILLUSTRATED NOVEL • UPDATES TUESDAY AND FRIDAY In a time before living memory, the King Dragon of the Void watched the world and realized there was a crack. He realized that humanity was destroying the rock upon which they lived; they leaked life’s code into the churning chaos. At first the change was imperceptible: nanites overtook microorganisms, bacteria, viruses, amoebas. Insects became increasingly inorganic; birds and lizards followed soon after. Even humans were infected by their own advances, cell by cell, till there was not a person left on earth who wasn’t at least part synthetic, the product of a prior generation’s carelessness. The world’s population was ravaged by mechanical viruses with no vaccines; they were mercilessly overtaken by bacteria that knew no death. Soon, most of the planet was empty and only a handful remained who remembered the hedonist realm they came from; only a few were left who remembered what the world looked like when their buildings touched the sky. The King Dragon of the Void watched the rock turn. He watched humans cower as the Old World fell down around them; watched their great monuments crumble into dusty ruins; watched their codes become precious, ancient gem memories forged under the crushing pressure of so many fallen stones. The world has spun many times around the sun since chaos swallowed man whole. It is a simpler time than the one that died out, but the people now are not immune to the folly of the people before. There is old code everywhere: in the water, in the air, in the trees. The heart of man has been replaced by power cores, many of which are hard-coded with preternatural abilities—when they die, an esoteric mountain sect collects their cores and stores them in their hollow mountain home to preserve the sanctity and dignity of human death. They’ve learned to harness artifacts of the old world, gemstones full of codes their nanite infused bodies can parse as spells imbuing their users with great power; they inlay them into their bodies, into their skins, connected to their cores by copper conduit and gold tracers; they dress themselves in tattoos to advertise their prowess; they battle for relics in arenas, fight for them in the open world wherever they are found. The King Dragon of the Void watches the rock turn and wonders: when will this hunger finally make the rock stop spinning? WELCOME TO FANXING CITY … Twenty-five years ago, Fanxing City and the surrounding lands were commanded by the mad King Zao Beiguan. For many years, the King hoarded wealth, artifacts, food; he demanded tribute from a people already taxed to the edges of their existence and expected they be happy with their circumstances. Noncompliance was often punished harshly, bodies displayed proudly on Fanxing’s streets as a warning, from the city gates to the Zao palace’s golden doors. The youths of several prominent clans came together to overthrow the tyrant and made names for themselves as legendary heroes across the land: Tian, Ren, Feng, Gui, Ma, and Zhenxi. Even wanderers from the Luanshi sect descended from Yunji mountain to aid the rebellion. When the dust settled after three years, Tian Yunyong ascended the throne of Fanxing and swore to honour his slain father’s memory, and has maintained Fanxing’s peace with generosity and mercy where fear and cruelty once reigned.
