《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 932. Adapting To This World

After intense debate, the crowd finally converged on a common consensus of Wang Yu’s appearance. He was a Qigong Master with a well-built figure. Furthermore, he was accompanied by a Fighter.
“Okay, follow these clues and find him. We definitely have to accomplish this by today!” Sanwen Cuttlefish gave a strict order in the guild chat.
It was extremely rare to find a Qigong Masters in the game. The search was even made easier by the fact that there were even fewer Pugilists with such an imposing appearance like Wang Yu. Lastly, there was the additional detail that Wang Yu was accompanied by a Fighter…
With so many unique characteristics, Wang Yu and his companion were easy targets to track down. With the few hundred members in Mad Wolf Guild and the relatively small size of City of Hope, Sanwen Cuttlefish quickly received some news from about their whereabouts.
“Boss, I have found the suspect!”
“Where is he?’” Sanwen Cuttlefish questioned him immediately.
“It looks like he is heading for the library,” the informant replied.
“Library?” Sanwen Cuttlefish slightly glimpsed.
The library was a special place because other than Nomads, other players would not usually frequent it. Could this person be a Nomad?
Elite players being killed by an itinerant Nomad, how ludicrous did that sound?
“Sigh… Old Blabber, how do you want me to reprimand you.”
At this point in time, Sanwen Cuttlefish glanced over at Blabber Wolf and let out a disappointed sigh. He finally lost all hope in Blabber Wolf.
Five Wolves Six Colors also quickly linked the fact that Wang Yu was seen at the library to the possibility that Wang Yu could be a Nomad.
The members from Mad Wolf Guild one by one shot looks of sympathy at the miserable Blabber Wolf.
“F*ck! What do you think you guys are doing!” With Blabber Wolf’s short-fused temperament, he immediately flared up at those who ridiculed him.

Sanwen Cuttlefish waved to quell the commotion and simply said, “Enough of this, stop your nonsense. Let’s head over and barricade the Magic Academy.”
Upon hearing Sanwen Cuttlefish instructions, Blabber Wolf had no comments but his men quickly voiced out their concerns, “I don’t think we have enough manpower here. Should we call the others?”
“…”
Sanwen Cuttlefish and the rest of the players were stunned by their inquiry. Five Wolves Six Colors broke the silence with his laughter, “Haha, didn’t I already said, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Brother Blabber, your men are just the same as you…”
The crowd once again broke into a cacophony of laughter.
There were about twenty players in Five Wolves Six Colors’ squad. Additionally, Blabber Wolf had called over another sixty plus elite players. There were almost eighty players present who were fully equipped with the finest equipment.
It was a simple thing for these eighty players to fight against two Pugilist. Even if their opponent was the God of War, Sanwen Cuttlefish was also confident of having a shot at victory. To think that Blabber Wolf’s men were still calling for reinforcements was a slap in their faces!
Blabber Wolf repeatedly found himself getting humiliated and he had lost all face. He vented his anger on his men.
“Where do you guys have so much nonsense! Is it not enough for you guys to simply follow my orders? Those with any more nonsense can scram!”
“But…” Blabber Wolf’s men still had their reservations but upon looking at the ridicule in the eyes of the others, they silently swallowed whatever they had to say.
In the library of the City of Hope, the Little Bookworm was chatting with Wang Yu.
“Brother Bull, you cannot possibly hope to flip through every single book here. Do you know how many books are there?”
“I’m not too sure…” Wang Yu shook his head.

Little Bookworm continued, “Look at me, since I started playing this game, I have trained my reading skill to level thirty! However, I have only managed to read a tiny portion of the available books in here. If you want to find clues from here, you will probably take a couple of years.”
Gaining experience points in > was not limited to killing monsters. There were other aspects of the game that one could gain points in like reading maps and books. It was just that the rate of gaining experience for these was much slower than killing monsters.
Little Bookworm had a reading skill of level 30 yet he had only managed to read a small portion of the available books in the library. This was indicative of how extensive the library was.
“Hehe!” Wang Yu smiled and said contemplatively, “Little Bug, ah, reading is a good thing but sometimes you have to use your brain. Come, let me widen your horizons.”
Wang Yu then brought Little Bookworm to a corner where there was an inconspicuous NPC. It was a female who was dressed very simply in grey clothing. She wore a pair of glasses that sat atop her nose giving off a scholarly vibe.
“Do you recognise her?” Wang Yu asked Little Bookworm.
“Is this not the librarian?” Little Bookworm was indeed a regular as he recognised the NPC before him in one look.
“Hm!” Wang Yu nodded in acknowledgement. “Go up and say hi!”
“Say hi?” Little Bookworm was a little puzzled, “Why would I go and say hi to her?”
Wang Yu used an instructive tone as he said, “Getting close to the NPC is the most important thing to adapt to this world.”
“…” Little Bookworm slowly walked up to the librarian with a look of reluctance, “Hello, auntie…”
“Shit!” Wang Yu cursed.
The librarian turned towards Little Bookworm as she stared coldly at him, “Do you need something? If not, please leave immediately. You should refrain from making so much noise in the library!”
“…”
The librarian spotted a look of a wise academic and her scolding scared Little Bookworm out of his wits. He walked begrudgingly back to Wang Yu and cried, “She’s so fierce…”
“Nonsense!” Wang Yu sighed and went forward himself. “Hello, little sister, I would like to inquire something of you.”
“Little sister!!” Little Bookworm almost spat out a mouthful of blood when he heard that.
The librarian seemed to be four or five years older than Wang Yu yet Wang Yu had called her “little sister”. He was simply shameless.
However, the librarian’s response once again shook Little Bookworm to his core.
“Oh, it is Brother Iron Bull. What would you like to ask?” the librarian replied to him with a wide smile.
“Brother Iron Bull!!” Little Bookworm was shell-shocked and stood beside Wang Yu as still as a stone sculpture.
“Do you want some money? Little sister?” Wang Yu asked shamelessly as though he was an old pervert bargaining with a pimp.
The librarian grinned as she replied, “One hundred gold for one question. However, I will give a special discount for Brother Iron Bull. Fifty percent discount for every subsequent question while the first one is free.”
“Thank you…”
Hearing the librarian’s reply, Wang Yu celebrated this small victory.
“There is such a service?” Little Bookworm was flabbergasted at the development of the situation. He quickly went up and asked, “Can I ask a question too?”
The librarian did not even spare him a look and coldly spat, “Two hundred gold for one question. If you are not happy, you can just scram! Since your question has already been answered, you now owe me two hundred gold. If you don’t hand over this gold in one minute, you better prepare something else as collateral!”
