City of Hope was a Light main city which laid on the border of the Darkness and Light factions…

It was said that at the end of the God of Devils’ battle, the Light and Neutral factions’ allied army secured a great victory there and found hope of victory. Hence, it was named as the City of Hope and was also known as the City of God’s Choice.

Because of this story, and on top of the great scenery and the largest church – Church of Dawn – outside of the Vatican City, a lot of players and NPC chose to hold their weddings there.

The layout of this main city was also very interesting. The entire city was built surrounding a mountain and right in the centre of the city was a mountain peak called the Peak of Hope. In the game’s background story, it was called the Pillar of Hope and was a landmark of the City of Hope.

Upon Wang Yu’s arrival at the City of Hope, he stood at the port at the Peak of Hope and looked down. Looking at the beautiful scenery, he instantly felt rejuvenated and the little upsetness he had immediately dissipated. He thought to himself that he definitely had to come when he holds a wedding.

Just when Wang Yu was filled with thoughts, suddenly, a rough voice could be heard.

“Hey, whoever you are, are you just going to leave? Pay up!”

“?” Wang Yu looked towards the voice source and saw five fully equipped players surrounding a male player aggressively.

Based on their equipment, that few players looked like they were pretty experienced and all five of them had a guild badge of a wolf’s head.

In this day and age, players were all vulgar and thought that with such a symbolic item, they would look mightier.

However, the player being surrounded was quite small-sized and looked young too, with oddly-matched equipment with all sorts of armours, a typical Pugilist’s outfit.

“Pay up? Why?” That frail Pugilist did not give in. This game system already sucked money from him so why did players have the right to extort money?

“Rubbish!” A Warrior amongst the rest said, “Don’t pretend you don’t know! This tourist attraction is Mad Wolf Guild’s territory. Weren’t you standing here and looking? Hurry, pay a gold coin as entrance fee!”

Damn, so it was a bunch of guys who were occupying tourist spots. It was unthinkable that there was even such a job in the game. Wang Yu was not a local so it was eye-opening.

However, seeing the players from Mad Wolf Guild so familiar with what they were doing, it was obvious that they were professionals in real life.

The Pugilist also knew that they were unreasonable so feeling wronged, he said, “No one told me beforehand that I have to pay…”

“Rubbish! If we told you, how else can we earn money! Hurry, or else we will throw you down from here!” Mad Wolf Guild’s players said while pretending to act on their words.

Although there was no feeling of pain in the game, it was from such a high height so any normal person would be traumatised. Usually, everyone would have a few gold coins on them so no one would go through such a life-and-death experience for this bit of money.

The Pugilist shivered a bit then cowardly felt his pocket.

Seeing how that Pugilist was so terrified, Wang Yu could not help but ask, “Aren’t you guys afraid of being reported?”

No matter how despicable Quan Zhen Sect was, they earned money based on their abilities. No one had ever done such immoral things.

“Hehe, trying to stand up for him? Try reporting us!” The Warrior leading the rest from Mad Wolf Guild turned and laughed wildly while looking at everyone else with disdain.

This was near the port and so there were many people. However, it seemed as though everyone knew what Mad Wolf Guild was like so they did not even look in on them bullying others and simply turned away.

“Forget it, just one gold coin. I cannot afford to offend such people, alright?” That Pugilist saw how Mad Wolf Guild’s players threatened Wang Yu and quickly took out a gold coin and passed it to them.

“Hehe!” The leading Warrior chuckled, took the gold coin and told the Pugilist, “You can scram!”

The Pugilist walked over to Wang Yu, pulled him and said, “Brother, quickly leave and ignore them!”

“En!”

Wang Yu did not want to cause trouble so he left after seeing that the Pugilist was fine.

However, that Warrior pointed at Wang Yu and said, “Wait! Weren’t you also looking just now? Pay up!”

Wang Yu heard him and stopped. He turned around and said, “Yes, the scenery was great! However, it has been polluted and was not up to my standards so I don’t want to pay for it.”

“Really?” The leading Warrior paused then looked down quickly and scolded, “Who dares to mess with Mad Wolf Guild’s tourist spot? Does he have nothing better to do!”

What a straightforward dude. Wang Yu was shocked.

The Warrior’s subordinate tugged his sleeves and said, “Leader, he is saying that we are garbage!”

“You dare to insult me?” That Warrior finally reacted then said angrily with a deadly stare.

“…”

Wang Yu scratched his head and ignored that Warrior’s angry yells, then simply turned and left.

“F*ck! Are you looking down on me?”

That Warrior was extremely triggered by Wang Yu ignoring him. He kept his large sword behind him then charged towards Wang Yu.

“Brother, be careful!” That Pugilist saw what was going on in shock and quickly alerted Wang Yu.

Wang Yu did not even look back and tilted his body a bit to evade the Warrior’s [Charge]. He then moved his right hand toward the Warrior then harshly pushed his buttocks. The Warrior then helplessly crashed aside.

They were on top of a peak and surrounding Wang Yu were cliffs… A loud cry was heard soon after and that Warrior had been thrown down.

“You!!!”

Seeing Wang Yu lift his hand and pushed that Warrior down, everyone was stunned.

“How could you attack him!” That Pugilist from just now was pale with shock, “Do you know who he is?”

“Nope…” Wang Yu said.

“Brother, you’re in trouble. He is a member of the Mad Wolf Guild.”

Honestly, that Warrior’s skills were average and most people could deal with him but his background was extraordinary. Otherwise, this Pugilist would not immediately pay up after hearing his guild.

“I know he mentioned it earlier.” Wang Yu continued to reply calmly.

“Is this your first time in City of Hope?” Seeing how Wang Yu was genuinely calm, that Pugilist asked.

Wang Yu nodded, “Yes!”

“Sigh.” That Pugilist sighed and said, “Before they come looking for you, quickly leave, or else, you can forget about leaving!”

“Leave to?” Wang Yu was confused.

The Pugilist said, “To wherever you came from!”

“Rubbish!” Wang Yu dismissed him and said, “Why should I leave before completing my quest?”

As he spoke, Wang Yu ignored the rest and walked down the mountain peak.

“You… Aish! I don’t care anymore!” That Pugilist saw how stubborn Wang Yu was and was afraid of getting into trouble so he kept a distance from Wang Yu.

Seeing how Wang Yu was about to leave, the remaining players from Mad Wolf Guild did not dare to stop him. They simply yelled at him from afar, “Wanting to leave after causing trouble? Leave your name if you dare.”
