“Quest Name?” Sanguine Warflag revealed a perplexed expression on his face.

“That’s right!” Fearless replied. “United in One Heart… Clearly this mission is not something that can be completed based on individual strength. They cannot complete the mission without us.”

“Oh, so that’s the case.” Sanguine Warflag came to a realisation and gesture in admiration at Fearless with a thumbs-up.

The way the system hid the true meaning of the mission was extremely cunning. However, this trick seen though easily by Fearless, thus demonstrating his superior skills in deception.

Every guild leader present all craved the feeling of power and authority, especially in cases where they are the centre of attention.

After figuring out the crux of the mission requirements, Sanguine Warflag was no longer panicky. He brought Wang Yu and Fearless out of the City Lord Mansion at a leisurely pace.

“Iron Bull Big Brother… Fearless Big Brother, we have waited for you guys for a long time.”

As soon as the three of them came out, One Page Book greeted them from the side while her two guild masters tailed beside her.

“Waiting for us?” Wang Yu wondered. “Why didn’t you head off with the others?”

“Hehe!” One Page Book displayed a subtle smile as she replied, “Going with you guys is more advantageous.”

One Page Book had in the past designed an ambush for Wang Yu. She was well endowed with brains and a keen eye.

In the first round, One Page Book witnessed the duo of the shrewd Fearless and the invincible Wang Yu. She felt that her decision to follow them would only bring her benefits.

“Oh, you are quite smart. How did you know following us would bring you any good?” Fearless asked inquisitively.

One Page Book chuckled as she replied, “A woman’s intuition.”

Fearless replied, “…”

What a drivel of an excuse! Fearless was never going to believe that. Since One Page Book was not willing to share her reasoning, Fearless would not be presumptuous to continue asking.

Twilight City to Sunset Valley was quite a distance and it was no fun in travelling in a group of three guys.

Since there were three pretty ladies who offered their companionship, Fearless that old pervert felt no reason to reject their offer.

Seeing Snow In The Summer and Seeing Flowers In The Winter were extroverted people and the bunch of them got along very quickly. The previous insult at Fearless for being a gangster was quickly forgotten.

Fearless was having a whale of a time throughout the journey as he repeatedly declared his good fortune to have such a good brother in Wang Yu.

Wang Yu and Sanguine Warflag teasingly distanced themselves from him indicating that they were not close with Fearless.

As the monsters’ level became higher and higher, Sanguine Warflag had a tugging feeling that something was not right.

Fearless seemed to have slowed down their pace intentionally, seemingly displaying a cavalier attitude.

It was already a level 45 leveling area and there were barely any players yet Fearless was still moving a snail’s pace. However, Sanguine Warflag was careful not to question Fearless outrightly.

“Big Brother Fearless, is this pace really optimal?”

Sanguine Warflag was not a fool. Being half an hour late was being cocky but being an hour late would definitely incur the ire of the other players… Sanguine Alliance did not want to become public enemy number one.

Fearless waved his protest away, “There is no hurry, they are just up ahead. We are just slowly following.”

“Oh? How did you know?” Seeing Flowers In The Winter was curious.

Before Fearless could even reply, One Page Book answered, “Didn’t you notice that on our way here, we have yet to encounter a single monster?”

“Hm! Smart!” Fearless glanced over at One Page Book and revealed an expression of appreciation.

Although there were not many monsters spawned in this high-level hunting ground, it was strange for them to not encounter a single one.

There were not many players who could clear all the high-level monsters from a hunting ground single-handedly. Therefore the only possibility was that there were players in front clearing the monsters.

The monster’s respawn timing was around 10 minutes yet Fearless’s group had yet to see any monsters. This was sufficient proof that the other players were not far away from themselves.

Realising all this, Sanguine Warflag smiled in delight.

These high-level monsters were not easy to kill and the players who were involved in the earlier battles definitely had used up some of their potions. Who knows what other dangers awaited them further into the valley? It was prudent to save as many potions for emergency as possible.

Fearless’s team moved at a slow pace and furthermore did not have to lift a finger to kill any monsters. They were simply reaping the efforts of the other players.

Upon seeing Wang Yu joking and relaxing with ladies in tow, the other players could not help but feel infuriated…

Everyone knew that they could not afford to provoke the two young Lords behind Sanguine Warflag and even more so, they could not afford to provoke the Sanguine Alliance. They knew how vicious Wang Yu could be to his enemies and eventually settled by staring down at the three ladies.

“Hey, have you guys found anything?” Sanguine Warflag greeted the horde of players with a loud voice.

Everyone pretended not to hear him. However, it was obvious that as long as everyone was not gathered here, they could not enter the Sunset Valley.

“Hm? Where is Captain Don’t Open Fire that old scum?”

Sanguine Warflag first thought was to antagonise Captain Don’t Open Fire. As he swept his gaze around, he realised that Captain Don’t Open Fire was nowhere to be found.

“They flew here, maybe they have already completed the mission and gone back,” 2012 chimed in at the side.

“Not possible!” Sanguine Warflag gesticulated, “We have only just arrived so they couldn’t have possibly entered first…”

“Brother Bull… Quick, save me.”

Sanguine Warflag had not finished speaking when there was a cry for help in the distance.

Everyone turned towards the direction where the sound came from. They saw Captain Don’t Open Fire and his two comrades standing on a boulder on the mountainside, waving their staff and shield frantically to chase away an eagle.

Seeing that Captain Don’t Open Fire was in such a sorry state, Sanguine Warflag was elated and could not help but take a jab at him, “Haha, how did you guys crash?”

“F*ck you, Sanguine Warflag! I am in no mood to argue with you,” Captain Don’t Open Fire spat out in an exasperated tone.

Sanguine Warflag turned towards Wang Yu and said, “Brother Bull, they are our direct competitors, do not save them.”

Captain Don’t Open Fire was taken aback as he roared, “Brother Bull, listen to me, as long as you save me I will give you a thousand gold pieces!”

“2,000 gold pieces, don’t save him!” Sanguine Warflag counter-offered immediately.

“3,000 gold pieces!” Captain Don’t Open Fire never backed down when it came to a bidding war. With each offer increasing by the thousands, the players watched the drama unfold.

“Four…”

“Okay, he is almost at his limit. If we don’t save him, none of us can enter the valley! Even if he commits suicide by jumping off the cliff, you still have to fork out the money you promised.”

When Sanguine Warflag shouted 4,000, Fearless poked him gently in the back to remind him of what was at stake.
