《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 890. Fella Who Wanted To Listen To Songs

Fearless was right, virtual objects did not have back up gold. However, every player had the ability to farm for gold. This meant that every player would have a money-printing machine.
Over time, even if the exchange rate between RMB and gold coins were to become high, the value of gold coins would fall as the amount of gold coins increase which will result in the imbalance in buying power. Hence, if the gold coins were not changed into real money, they would just be a sum of fake value. Captain Don’t Open Fire knew this way better than Fearless.
For this mission, Captain Don’t Open Fire had already put in a lot of effort. It would be a waste if he wasted this chance just for materialistic things.
After making the decision, Captain Don’t Open Fire took the chest from Wang Yu and attacked the Past Believers.
The god-grade equipment’s power was definitely worth the cost. Captain Don’t Open Fire could kill all the past believers within a range of 300.
Things like money would be hard to spend at first, but once spent, that feeling of spending would be insatiable…
Seeing the majestic looking Captain Don’t Open Fire’s solo firing, everyone was bleeding internally. Every time he opened the chest, they would chant ‘10,000 gold’ in their mind. Though it was cool to spend this much of money in one go, it was still quite a sight to see someone just throw out their money like that.
“Aiya, I can’t take it anymore. My heart aches for him.” Ming Du caressed his heart and did not dare to look. He had not been this empathetic for someone else’s money yet.
The number of past believers decreased as Captain Don’t Open Fire attacked. Just when the past believers were left with just a few, everybody stopped Captain Don’t Open Fire from firing.

“You can save the last 10,000 coins, we will finish the rest of the believers…”
With the help of everybody, all the past believers were killed.
After tasting the satisfying feeling of killing, Captain Don’t Open Fire hugged the chest and exclaimed, “If you have money, you can even make the ghost work for you. Master Iron Bull, are you selling this chest?”
“NO!”
Before Wang Yu could reply, Fearless snatched the chest back from Captain Don’t Open Fire and said, “If you need it next time, you can rent it from us again.”
“Okay…” Captain Don’t Open Fire looked and the chest longingly and said, “I think that apart from me, there would be no one else more suitable for the chest.”
“…”
The past believers were all destroyed and the black shield in front of Mai Lun disappeared as well. The magic spell on the ground vanished and Wang Yu walked to Mai Lun’s corpse and touched it.
Compared to previous BOSSES, Mai Lun was really too poor. Wang Yu managed to only dig out a tiny piece of black metal.
Treasure Key (Mission object)
Necessity to unlock the treasure.
Mission objects were exclusive and only those on mission could use it. Wang Yu threw it to Captain Don’t Open Fire and continued digging for more things.
This time was worse than the last, Wang Yu found only two long strips of paper…
“…”
Everyone was speechless at Wang Yu’s character. He would not even show the whole piece of paper.
Just at this moment, Wang Yu smiled and showed the attributes of the two papers.
Sacred Soar Float Spell: Rare magic equipment, could make you float in the air for 600 seconds upon casting of spell. Used 3/5 times.
“Woah, there’s still something like this?”
Everybody drooled at the sight of the Talisman in Wang Yu’s hands.

They did not expect these two pieces of papers to be magic equipment used by Mai Lun to float.
When Mai Lun was in the air, he moved just like he was on land. This Talisman was definitely way more useful than other flying techniques. Even though there were three uses left, it was something very valuable. Wang Yu did not say much and kept it for himself while the others already got used to seeing this.
After touching the corpse, everybody walked back to the front yard and continued advancing.
They followed the path and walked through a corridor then climbed a flight of stairs before reaching the last location—Temple of Treasures.
This temple had its door tightly sealed and gave an unwelcoming vibe. Not a single living creature could be found.
This dungeon looked like that since the start, hence everyone had already gotten used to it. Captain Don’t Open Fire whipped out the black piece of metal from just now and poked into a hole.
Right when the key went into the hole, an echoey voice sounded off.
“Who are you, people? Why do you have the Key to the Treasures?”
Everyone was shocked by the voice but responded quickly after. Fearless walked up and said, “We are the true believers of god!”
“Is that so? How would you prove it?” That voice sounded doubtful about whatever Fearless had just said.
“I have the god’s blessing…”
Fearless held up his staff and gave a live performance of the Sacred Ray… Fearless should not be judged from his despicable actions, because he actually was a true God’s believer.
“Mm, not bad, not bad. Why would a god’s believer come to the treasure? Do you have a covet for the treasures.?” The echoey voice started to sound more serious.
Fearless replied with might, “No, no, no, we are taking the treasures that God left for the people to save them.”
“Oh…” The echoey voice muttered, “You are really good at talking rubbish…”
“Uh…” Fearless was speechless and thought that this voice had quite a high IQ.
Right after that, the voice continued, “But I like that. If you guys can make me happy, I will let you guys in.”
“Hehe! Ling Longmeng, get ready to do a strip dance!” Fearless smiled and waved at Ling Longmeng but got hit by an arrow shot by Ling Longmeng on his head.
“Aiya…” Fearless had an arrow stuck in his head and said, “You can just say that you don’t want to dance. Old Bull, why don’t you go ahead and show the military fitness boxing? Confucius says: it would all be fate no matter how much you bet.”
“I only know how to kill but not perform!” Wang Yu stared at Fearless and said coldly while touching his fist.
Fearless was stunned and did not dare to look at Wang Yu anymore. He then looked up to the sky and asked, “What kind of performances do you prefer? How about I ask my brothers to make you a nuclear bomb?”
“Hmph!” Boson grabbed his sword handle tightly.
“Hehe.” The echoey voice laughed and said, “You are really interesting. I haven’t seen humans in a very long time. I would love to hear humans sing.”
“Oh, singing…” This made Fearless scratch his head because all these guys could not sing at all. At the thought of this, Fearless turned and looked at Yang Nuo as most of the time girls would know how to sing better.
“I don’t know how to!” Yang Nuo rejected Fearless instantly while Captain Don’t Open Fire wanted to give it a go. At this moment, Ming Du spoke, “Looks like I have to come help.”

Travelers [DROPPED]
DROPPED. The story focuses less on dungeon building than on the why of dungeons and how they fit into the universal order. While I am working from a grand plot, the writing is going slice of life style because I need to do that to work out how things progress into that grand plot. The original story seed idea / synopsis is below. The Grand Tapestry protects Rhofhir from Primal Chaos by imposing Order via patterns. However, the patterns grow stiff, stagnant, and so the Tapestry is nearing a time of Unraveling. Evidence of past civilizations wiped out during previous Unravelings foreshadow the apocalyptic catastrophe looming over the world. The mages of the Arcane Asylum reach out across dimensions, searching for some way to prevent, or at least stall, the coming Unraveling. Among the many voices they find is a gifted graduate student researching machine-assisted telepathy -- and his gaming group. Lena never expected that the chance to play DnD with telepathy would result in her becoming an actual Dungeon Master, nor that her friends could become the bosses of her dungeon. This is, in many ways, her dream come true, but there's a catch: What happened to Brad, the creator of that telepathy machine?

No More Respawns
Synopsis: The first time Allen died, he was forced back into a living hell where death is temporary, and power is all that matters. With evil and depravity as the rule, tragedy becomes comedy and life becomes an act. Only a deal with a shady god can get him back to his old life, but what happens if there’s nothing left to save? Maybe hell isn’t so bad if you have infinite lives… until you don’t. Needless to say, it’s all fun and games until there’s no more respawns. Foreword: This story is meant primarily as an action adventure and secondarily as a dark and nihilistic comedy. It may not be readily apparent in the beginning, but that's what I have planned (I feel the need to emphasize the dark; don’t rage at me if it gets too ‘traumatizing’ or something). I’m going to take my time with this, so it won’t immediately inundate you with doom and gloom. This is also a comedy, remember? On that note, if for some cursed reason you just can't handle either the references or the jokes, I am willing to battle in the comments. Anyway, I still put a significant amount of effort into the system, so I hope you enjoy that part. It is a little bulky, I'll admit to that, but I wanted to try something new and its more fun when there's more depth to it. Regardless, I still have a lot of fun doing math in the middle of writing a fictional story (/s). I also want to see if I can keep from messing up the pacing. Many times, I end up going too fast because I'm afraid of the story getting boring, which tends to ironically have the opposite effect. I'm still learning I suppose; we'll see how things go. Lastly, please leave reviews and comments, they really mean a lot to me and (usually) help me improve considerably. I'll be asking for feedback in the polls and I do still check the old ones from time to time. Notes: The story takes a bit of time to develop; give it time if you're here for drama, grimdark, or antihero. The system is all blue boxes and I'm not half-assing the numbers. Chapters will be between 1k and 2k words usually. I always use the oxford coma, fight me. Might drop if rating falls below 4 stars, idk. It depends on how my life is going. Cover drawn by yours truly in MS paint. (I have skill, I know)
