《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 853. Helper

After all those mess, Wang Yu turned and asked Fearless, “Weren’t you guys at the resurrection point? Why are you here?”
Fearless pouted and said with unhappiness, “The resurrection point had no one left. That’s because all of us are not even more important than just you alone, God Bull.”
Twilight City had seven resurrection points on the same street, but the moment Wang Yu appeared, all players of Divine Martial Guild at the seven resurrection points originally rushed to attack Wang Yu. The other Quan Zhen Sect players who were at the resurrection points were being ignored right away. Then, they blended in with the people and escaped.
Everybody did in fact escape, but the feeling of being looked down was really a stab in the heart, especially for these Quan Zhen Sect players who loved to compare themselves to one another.
“Hehe! No wonder, I thought you guys would not come and help, so I was preparing to escape. Thank god for you guys.” Wang Yu smiled and replied.
Wang Yu was not someone who did not know how to do his things. Even though he said he did not need their help, he would have looked battered even if he managed to escape at the last moment if not for the players from Quan Zhen Sect.
He would not scold his teammates just because of something he said when he was angry.
“Pshh, you think that only you people who know martial arts have pride? We have our pride to uphold too!” Wang Yu’s words reminded the masses about this matter, and they started to look down upon Wang Yu. What a thing to say; how could he just escape rather than seeking revenge?
“Haha, I didn’t mean it like that,” Wang Yu apologised at once.
“Hmph! Trash!” Everybody gathered and gave Wang Yu a middle finger.
Wang Yu ignored that and turned to Fearless asked seriously, “Anyway, how do we get out of here now?”

Right now, other than the resurrection point’s resurrection point, the street had been filled with players from Divine Martial Guild. Rather than saying that Quan Zhen Sect broke out of a siege, it would be more apt to say they had been forced to be at an impasse.
Among the resurrection points for all seven jobs in the game, only the resurrection points for Priests and Pugilists had a shelter. In this situation, even if all the Quan Zhen Sect’s players could fly, they should think of how to get out of this shelter first.
Outside the resurrection point, hundreds of Archers from Divine Martial Guild aimed their arrows at the entrance of the resurrection point. If the players from Quan Zhen Sect dared to fly out, the Archers would dare shoot them till they become porcupines.
The situation was not looking very well now as Quan Zhen Sect players were trapped at the resurrection point. If they wanted to escape, they had to have the power to break through by force.
It was impossible as the Divine Martial Guild called in thousands of skilled players just to capture Quan Zhen Sect.
Ignoring the fact that Quan Zhen Sect could not even handle a few waves of direct confrontations, even if they had 10 players who really could defeat 1000 enemies in one shot, the resurrection points were too nearby. The enemies could just keep reviving, and no matter how powerful the Quan Zhen Sect was, they would not be strong enough to keep on fighting forever.
Fearless thought carefully and replied, “Right now, they have a full capacity of manpower. To break through, we need someone stronger to help us.”
“Oh? Should we…” After hearing what Fearless said, everyone looked at Wang Yu.
What Fearless said made sense. If they wanted to really escape, they would need a guild stronger than the Divine Martial Guild to block them at the resurrection point. Right now in >, the only Guild that would be willing and dare to do this would be none other than the Peerless Heaven Guild.

“We don’t need to trouble others with our own matter.” Fearless shook his head and said, “Just wait, our help is on its way.”
“Hahaha!”
Right after Fearless spoke, spooky laughter travelled through, “You guys are even thinking of escaping out of here? Look, if you guys don’t surrender your weapons, you shall never get out of this resurrection point ever again.”
Everyone looked towards the direction of the laughter, only to see a buff lord wearing only undergarments standing over there with his arms on his waist. The hair on his fair legs swayed with the wind, and his face was full of malevolence. It was none other than Martial Yin Yang.
Martial Yin Yang’s laughter was very arrogant and his attitude was very stern. However, on the contrary, his image was like an idiotic bus rider. The words that came out of his mouth just made him look hilarious.
There were players who just came online and did not know who was Martial Yin Yang, hence they were all judging him with strange looks.
Wang Yu and the rest were all grown adults, and hence would not be bothered by a man without his bottoms. However, Vainglory was more worked up than the rest and pointed at Martial Yin Yang and shouted, “I wonder who gave you the courage to be naked under the sunlight!” After saying that, he even pointed to the pants he was wearing.
After hearing what Vainglory said, Martial Yin Yang looked down immediately as he did not even know his pants were gone. He saw his naked legs and blushed with great embarrassment.
Martial Yin Yang got even angrier after Vainglory pointed at the equipment on the pants and scolded everyone from Quan Zhen Sect, “You rascals, I won’t let you guys off so easily even if you return me my equipment now.”
“Oh, with only these few people that you have?” Fearless raised his brows and asked with disdain.
“Hmph!” Martial Yin Yang coldly replied, “It would be sufficient to block you guys with just these people.”
“Is that so? Look outside!” Fearless laughed and pointed to outside the door.
Martial Yin Yang popped his head out and a questionably big number of people appeared outside the resurrection point.
“These… these are your men?”
Martial Yin Yang’s eyeballs almost fell out while looking at the crowd. From what he knew, there were less than 20 people in Quan Zhen Sect, so where did all these help come from?
Fearless smiled, “They are from our city!”
These people were of course not from Quan Zhen Sect, but were all from different guilds in Twilight City.
Not only Twilight City, but any main city’s players would have a collective pride to the place.
Since the system grouped them into the same main city, that was considered to be fate. Even though there would be conflicts and disagreements sometimes, those matters were just small individual problems. The moment they had an intruder, everybody would stand together and defend themselves.
Right now in Twilight City, there were millions of people on the street. Even though Sanguine Warflag did not show himself because of his consideration for Martial Yin Yang’s pride, it still touched Wang Yu when Sanguine Stormbringer waved to him.
Upon the sight of the millions of players on the street, Divine Martial Guild’s players all retreated to their resurrection points.
There was no other way, because any war techniques or formations would be useless like a paper tiger in front of so many people. It would only take one skill per person for them to make anything happen.
“How is that? Do you still think you are that good now?” Fearless questioned Divine Martial Guild

Debut: the day every young gentleperson of age gathers to receive their Spirit Blessing and shift for the first time into their second form. Except for those who don't. Beatrice's worst fear is to be one of the unlucky few trapped perpetually in a human body, cut off from the magic of the spirits and unfit for any respectable pack or pride. But when the time comes to face her fear, the outcome is one she never could have imagined. Be warned, this story is some highly experimental fluff—an unapologetically girly, unrelentingly bisexual, Regency/Victorian-ish fantasy mish-mash. It does have a dark side, though, so don’t come in expecting all sunshine and roses. Worthy of note, given the reputation of shifter stories: there will be no explicit sex in this tale. There will, however, be lots of polyamorous romance, necromancy, portal magic, capricious spirits, elemental mages, an unconventional take on shifters and a highly ordered society built around their existence.

Black Wind, White Lotus
In this world, there are haves and have nots. The former are pureblooded humans, some of whom are capable of manipulating qi, the mysterious energy that flows through every living creature, to miraculous results that defy the laws of nature and physics. Wen Feili was one such cultivator. However, she allied with the have nots- the anthropomorphic hybrids incapable of channeling qi-and dabbled in forbidden demonic arts, seeking to change the very composition of reality. This did not end well for her, and she was consumed by her own flames. A decade later, far in the northwestern mountains, her daughter Wen Fengli is working as a lowly servant of the minor Shuangshan sect. In between sweeping the floor and avoiding bullies, she secretly trains with a wooden sword, hoping to become a warrior cultivator at some point in the future. However, since she's part-human, part-wolf, it's just a pipe dream. ....or so she bitterly thought. However, one day a mysterious amulet that belonged to her mother falls into her hands. A deranged old master, a terrible conspiracy, a mysterious past? None of that matters to tomboyish wolfgirl, who only seeks to become stronger. She embarks on a journey of adventure and self-discovery, towards the mysterious southern lands where pure demi-humans are said to live...as spectre of war once again envelops the world of man. This is a Chinese-themed fantasy story set in a fictional world. You can classify it as xianxia, if you wish, but it's a rather low fantasy variant; the heavenly realm is silent, no one reached immortality in generations, and magical artifacts of old are locked away and feared. Magical beasts and spirits have been driven to the corners of civilisation, and "ordinary" abilities such as flying or controlling swords through telekinesis are considered spectacular feats. The main plot of this book revolves around a kemonomimi girl who seeks power, no matter the cost. This story also features multiple character pov, and will not always follow the perspective of the mc- there are two major plotlines, one connected to conspiracy and war ongoing in the political background of the presented world, and the other focusing on the main character's physical and metaphorical journey. The cover image was drawn by minyaxj, per my request, on a commercial license.

The yuri/GL Is an extremely slow burn one and the focus is more on the relationship dynamics than romance. =====Author Notes===== This is my first writing attempt, and in the spirit of full disclosure, I am not a native English speaker and I am hoping to use this chance to improve my writing. Constructive criticisms are always welcome. I have a full-time job but I would try to keep the releases consistent.

Dust and Glory
A century after World War III left the planet a nuclear wasteland, earth is nearly unrecognizable. Alien ‘Benefactors’ have taken control of North America’s most populous cities and built indomitable walls around them, defending their inhabitants but trapping them under a totalitarian rule. Outside these citadels, chaos reigns, led by the mutants of the wasteland; cultists, raiders, and canibal clans. Glory, a rogue android, is roaming the wastes after escaping her sadistic “father”. Alone and reeling from the effects of a previously sheltered life, her only ray of hope is Reza City, built upon the ruins of what used to be Phoenix, Arizona. True, the Benefactors have a strict ban on self-aware artificial intelligence in place, but that should only prove an issue if they realize she’s an AI. The real problem is what lurks outside the city: over a million square miles of harsh, unyielding desert. And slinking between the dunes and the fissures are the mutants, looking for an easy victim.
