When Lucifer brought his men to find Quan Zhen Sect, he did not feel that there was going to be any conflict. It was more so to intimidate them into returning their equipment. He did not fathom that a small team of about ten players could hope to put up a fight against a two hundred legion.

Therefore, the players from Divine Martial Guild did not arrange themselves in any battle formation. They were closely packed together which made things much easier for Quan Zhen Sect to put up a fight.

The Five Thunder Fruit had an effective range of five hundred. It was one of the consumables stolen away from Team Satan. Frost Blade and Darknorth Fisher indiscriminately threw all the Five Thunder Fruits without care for the cost. This resulted in massive damage to the backline of Divine Martial Guild.

Frost Blade and Darknorth Fisher were just flitting around in the shadows and every stab of the dagger took out one player. They first cleaned out the players who were slowed and those who were muted.

When the players who were blinded heard the terrifying shrieks, they fell into a state of panic and just released their skills without any care for friend or foe. This just contributed further to the chaos.

Ling Longmeng and Yang Nuo did not even have to especially aim at anyone; they just rained down arrows in a general direction. Every barrage took the lives of numerous men…

Seeing that his team had been thrown into chaos in a matter of seconds, Lucifer was alarmed at the situation. He quickly regained his poise as he ordered a counterattack.

The Guardians of Divine Martial Guild hurriedly arranged themselves neatly and raised their shields to block the bombardment of arrows. The warriors and assassins chased after the silhouettes of Frost Blade and Darknorth Fisher.

Boom!!! Boom!!! “Boom!”

There was another deafening roar of thunder and the momentary peace was broken once again.

It is a “Time Bomb”! Those two guys actually planted a few of these bombs on the ground…

All the people present were highly experienced. When they heard the sound, they immediately identified the item used.

Although the time bomb was an item that was very obvious and highly avoidable, in the midst of the chaos, the players from Divine Martial Guild had carelessly stepped on them…

The destructive might of such a bomb could even take out Wang Yu, much less any others. The formation of Divine Martial Guild was blown into destruction. Frost Blade and Darknorth Fisher looked towards each other in delight at the destruction they had created and quickly left the battlefield using the transmission formation.

After all that occurred, almost one-fourth of the players from Divine Martial Guild were either dead or injured.

When Lucifer saw that only four members of Quan Zhen Sect had created such wanton destruction, he was absolutely infuriated.

“Trash! Trash! Attack them!” Lucifer screamed as he instructed his men to take down the rest of the Quan Zhen Sect.

Before the players from Divine Martial Guild could even reach them, Spring Halo waved his staff and unleashed [Dark Barrier]. Under the firepower of the two archers from Quan Zhen Sect and Ming Du, Vainglory executed his [Shadow Chain Kick] and opened a gap in the defences on the oncoming enemy. Crotch Lord rushed in to pull aggro before Boson finally finished them off with his [Tornado Slash]. The fallen bodies of their enemies lay on the ground.

The teleportation formation and resurrection point were not far apart. The slain members of Divine Martial Guild that revived at the resurrection point once again joined the fight.

Upon looking at the inexhaustible strength of their enemy, Ming Du shot a [Lightning Flash] to clear a path and then quickly teleported into the transmission formation.

Several other players also made their way to the teleportation formation.

The teleportation formation was a safe zone so once the six players from Quan Zhen Sect reached the zone, Lucifer and his men could no longer do anything. They focused their firepower to target Wang Yu, Mu Zi Xian and Fearless.

At this point, a group of guards with a murderous aura appeared behind Wang Yu and rushed straight towards Lucifer and his men.

Lucifer was taken aback by this new development and issued an order to counterattack.

In the game, the system guards represented the will of the system. In front of the system, everyone was powerless.

“For love and peace!”

The guards shouted at the top of their voices and rushed in the open battlefield. The guards were extremely efficient and vicious. Within a few seconds, they had annihilated the whole group from Divine Martial Guild.

The guards then turned around and headed towards Ming Du who was the next player with the highest PK value.

Ming Du smirked as he saw the oncoming guards. They proceeded to activate the teleportation formation and turned into white light as they exited the battlefield. The guards had lost their target and somberly left the teleportation formation.

Without a stream of enemies blocking the road, Wang Yu brought Mu Zi Xian and Fearless as they sauntered towards the teleportation formation and left War God City.

There was a saying that bad news travelled much faster than good news. The central street was the most prosperous and frequent part of the city. Even if the majority of players left the area, there were still observers who saw the fight.

Wilted Old Tree had just left the competition arena and received the breaking news of the battle. Disbelief was written all over his face when he heard how Quan Zhen Sect managed to escape the encampment of over two hundred players from Divine Martial Guild.

“10 players destroyed 200 others in 1 minute? Is it true?” Wilted Old Tree was still stunned by the news.

“Yes, it is! I saw it with my very own eyes! The players who were at central avenue would have witnessed everything…” The players were upset with Wilted Old Tree accusations.

Upon hearing the news, Wilted Old Tree thought back about how he had just parted with the Quan Zhen Sect a mere 10 minutes ago. He quickly sent a message to Fearless, “Congratulations for getting out safely.”

A few seconds later, Fearless replied, “It was nothing much!”

“Sii…”

Hearing the other party’s response, Wilted Old Tree heaved a breath of cold air.

With players’ equipment getting better and better, it is difficult to kill players in a short amount of time now. This is more so for a big guild like Divine Martial Guild. Their players were definitely equipped with top tier equipment. It was nothing short of miraculous that Quan Zhen Sect could decimate the whole two hundred of them in less than a minute.

However, in actuality, only about 50 to 60 members were killed by Quan Zhen Sect. The bulk of the players killed were done by the system guards.

The rumours that were circulated in the light of Divine Martial Guild’s tragic defeat did not paint the true picture of what had occurred.

As players of a big guild, they probably were not unfamiliar with getting misunderstood by the masses.

After all, in the development of big guilds, there would be inevitable conflicts with smaller guilds. This was even more so when they had such a domineering and unreasonable leader like Lucifer.
