《MMORPG: Martial Gamer》Chapter 839. The Third Road

Since the system already notified that the rewards were nulled for the Quan Zhen Sect, they did not stay around any longer and made their way out of the public arena.
Although whatever Wilted Old Tree said was not fully reliable, Divine Martial Guild had a very strong presence in War God City. Quan Zhen Sect did not want to court additional trouble for themselves and quickly headed towards the transfer point.
Once Quan Zhen Sect arrived back at Twilight City, Divine Martial Guild would definitely not continue pursuing them. After all, Sanguine Alliance was also a respectable guild and they definitely would not allow others to stir trouble in Twilight City.
As they crossed a street, the bunch from Quan Zhen Sect were only fifty metres away from the nearest resurrection point. Wang Yu suddenly sounded a warning in the team channel, “Everyone, stay alert. There are enemies nearby.”
“Are there?” Upon hearing Wang Yu, they whipped out their weapons and inquired, “How many are there?”
“Look ahead!” Wang Yu replied simply.
“…” Everyone hurriedly looked up and saw that there were a huge group of people in the street in front of them.
Although these people were wearing different types of equipment, there was one commonality among them. There was a word “Martial” plastered across their chest.
These were probably men from the Divine Martial Guild. To think Lucifer was so efficient in rallying his troops and had managed to send so many people to the transfer point.
This clearly showcased the influence and prowess of big guilds.
Players who were in the streets saw the mass of players from Divine Martial Guild gathering. They hurriedly cleared the place for the impending fight that was about to occur.
Ordinary players truly could not hope to contend with these big guilds.

There were almost two hundred players from the Divine Martial Guild gathered at this moment.
Gazing at the horde before them, the members Quan Zhen Sect tightened their eyes and clenched their weapons.
This 200-strong unit was not going to be easy to deal with but the Quan Zhen Sect still fancied their chances.
Just as the fight was about to break out, Lucifer made his way to the front of the crowd.
With a cheeky smile on his face, he said, “Oh, you guys! What a coincidence of meeting you here!”
Sure enough, this whole ploy was arranged by Lucifer. He was still shameless enough to try and hide his involvement in this.
However, this degree of response from Lucifer was to be expected. After all, Quan Zhen Sect had robbed ten full sets of Obsidian equipment. The price of these pieces of equipment was immeasurable. Its value was akin to nuclear warheads in the real world. How could Lucifer let Quan Zhen Sect walk freely at this point?
Quan Zhen Sect expected retaliation from Lucifer but they had underestimated the speed of this response.
When it came to comparing who could be more shameless, Quan Zhen Sect definitely did not lag behind. Fearless replied with an equally cordial smile, “Yeah, we are really fated. It’s quite late now, how about you guys get some rest? We also got to make a move now. Let’s catch up on another day, please make way for us.”
“Want to leave? Not so fast!” Areca stepped out from the crowd and growled at Fearless.
“Oh?” Fearless acted like he was befuddled and said, “Do you want to invite us to dinner? You guys are way too polite.”
“Stop your pretentious act!” Seeing Fearless confused state, Lucifer could not bring himself to continue playing around any longer. He barked, “I have so many people waiting here, surely you know what is going to happen.”

“Oh? What is going on?” Fearless still continued his baffled persona and at the same time, he readied the Quan Zhen Sect for their attack. Frost Blade and Darknorth Fisher proceeded to recede into the shadows.
“Hmph!” Lucifer saw through Fearless act and he said, “You guys can leave, but only if you leave the equipment behind.”
“Equipment? What equipment?” Fearless looked blankly towards Lucifer.
“The Obsidian in your backpack!” Lucifer answered without hesitation.
“Oh, the equipment in our bag.” Fearless replied lazily, “Why do we need to give it to you?”
Lucifer was infuriated at this point, “Stop your act. Don’t you know who the equipment belongs to?”
Fearless chuckled at the question, “You are really an interesting child. Who else would the equipment in our backpack belong to?”
“…” Lucifer was exasperated with Fearless constant shameless replies. Not waiting for any more exchange of words, Areca loudly shouted out, “F*ck you guys! Let’s not waste time. We will give you two options, one is to leave the equipment and you guys can leave. The other one is that we will kill the whole lot of you.”
Areca continued, “I will advise you to choose the first option. Or else once we make a move, you will meet a fate worse than death.”
In >, the chance that a player would lose a piece of equipment upon death was very low. It was unlikely to even lose a piece of equipment even after 10 deaths. To destroy all the equipment from the players from the Quan Zhen Sect, one would probably need to kill them a few hundred times…
However, the process of getting killed a few hundred times was a tormenting experience in itself. Team Satan would not think twice about using such underhanded methods in battle.
“Oh…” Fearless scratch his nose as he heard that.
“Hehe” Seeing that Fearless had no clever rebuttals this time, Areca thought she had finally managed to intimidate Fearless, “Hurry, as long as you hand over the equipment, our enmity will be written off.”
“Is that the case?” Fearless glanced towards Areca, “I believe that there is a third solution.”
“What is that?’ Areca inquired.
Fearless looked in the direction of Frost Blade and Darknorth Fisher as he gestured with an “ok” sign. He coldly replied, “Of course that is to kill the bunch of you!”
Boom!!! Boom!!! “Boom!”
Fearless had just responded when he heard loud noises emit from behind the Divine Martial Guild players.
“It’s the Five Thunder Fruit!” Hearing this familiar sound, Lucifer and the others hurriedly turned back. To their horror, they saw that the whole legion of players was afflicted with various crowd control effects like, “Blindness”, “Mute”, “Slow”.
Frost Blade and Darknorth Fisher both flashed out their daggers. There were in an optimum battle environment where they could fully unleash their skills. They shuttled to the backline of the Divine Martial Guild squad and took one life after another.
On this side with Yang Nuo and Ling Longmeng, once Fearless had given the command to attack, they had filled the sky with a barrage of arrows which rained down on the whole Divine Martial Guild squad.

Currently releasing 5 chapters a week Luke Kells liked only one thing about himself: his green eyes. He hated getting bullied, hated being poor, hated being an orphan, hated his weakness, hated the government, hated his life. If someone had given him a button to push and kill everyone but him and his granddad, he would've done it without a second thought. Then, one day, after fainting during a beating, he woke up with memories that would change his life. Magic, martial arts, how to craft special artifacts; he knew it all. Anyone would’ve taken that path to glory at once. However, he had to deal with a lot on his plate first. To even begin walking that path, Luke first had to deal with his own psychological issues. Before even realizing he could be rich or powerful, he had to bring himself out of the mental hellhole he found himself in. Oh, and his memories also told him the Sentinel Tower would change reality in six months to protect the planet from the Demonic Horde.
