Areca and White Sands were both Assassins so they operated independently. They were fortunate to evade the trap laid out by the Quan Zhen Sect.

The two of them had arrived at the periphery of the map as they received Lucifer’s news. Both of them ran with all their might towards where the Quan Zhen Sect was planning their ambush.

When they had reached the location, they saw that Yellow Crane Tower had already been stripped bare. He was only left wearing a pair of trousers. Frost Blade was busy rummaging through his pockets to look for any potions or system tools they could further take.

Frost Blade remarked to a nearby Wang Yu, “Hey hey, if you didn’t remind me, I would have forgotten to search through his bag. To think there is so much good stuff in his bag. What a wasted chance, should really have searched the few guys before him haha.”

Yellow Tower Crane nodded at this conversation and interjected, “Hm, continue to search, see if there are any Five Thunder Fruits… Also, see if you can find any gold coins while you are at it.”

Frost Blade, “…”

In >, one could not steal or plunder other players’ gold coins. However, Wang Yu wanted to plunder gold coins away from Yellow Tower Crane even although he would not be able to collect them. He simply did not want to leave anything for Yellow Tower Crane.

Upon seeing the miserable state that Yellow Crane Tower was in, the two assassins had a layer of goosebumps.

Although they did not know the exact circumstances of how Yellow Crane Tower had his clothes stolen, the visual impact of Yellow Crane Tower almost naked was seared in the minds of the two assassins.

“F*ck, it’s lucky it was not us that were caught.” Areca wiped a bead of cold sweat off her head as she whispered towards White Sand. Her heart was full of gratitude in her situation.

The audience could see everything that was happening inside the arena and they knew where the assassins were at. Getting stripped of all one’s clothes in front of the whole audience was an embarrassing predicament to be in.

The two could not imagine a situation whereby their equipment was taken away from them.

“Yeah…” White Sands also looked down subconsciously to check on his equipment. It was a full set of Obsidian equipment. If it was ever stolen from him, the consequences were simply intolerable.

At this time, Yellow Crane Tower, who was pitifully lodged on the ground, gazed upon the figures of Areca and White Sands. There was a moment of delight in his heart but he hurriedly bellowed, “What are you two even looking at? Come and help me!”

“F*ck, they have ten members. How are the two of us going to fight? Give us a way that we can actually win.” White Sands was unhappy at the tone of Yellow Crane Tower. The two were clearly at a massive disadvantage yet Yellow Crane Tower was selfishly asking them to rush in to help him. Yellow Crane Tower was clearly trying to implicate the two of them.

In fact on this particular arena, it was a highly favourable environment for assassins. With their natural advantage in concealment and stealth, even weaker assassins could manifest a great amount of combat ability.

Both Areca and White Sands were expert assassins in their own rights. Normally they would not cower at a numbers advantage by their opponents. However, when they saw the condition that Yellow Crane Tower was left in, both Assassins had a sense of hesitation.

Yellow Crane Tower surveyed his surroundings and gave some instructions, “Do you see the two ladies over there, target them first.” Yellow Crane Tower still had tactical nous. There were indeed two female combatants in Quan Zhen Sect; they were the two archers, Yang Nuo and Ling Longmeng. Archers were highly susceptible to Assassins. Furthermore, female players were often said to not measure up in skill to their corresponding male counterparts. Yang Nuo and Ling Longmeng were the prime targets.

Areca and White Sands glanced at Yellow Crane Tower and raised their thumbs in acknowledgement of the battle plan. They stealthily appeared behind Yang Nuo and Ling Longmeng and thrust out their daggers into the girls’ back.

Just when they were about to deal a fatal blow, the two ladies ducked forward at the same time. Areca and White Sand missed the opportunity and they were instantly surrounded by the whole Quan Zhen Sect. The bunch from Quan Zhen Sect had a strange looking smile etched on their faces.

When Areca and White Sands saw that their targets had been exposed, they hurriedly retreated. However, it didn’t take long for them to realise that they were completely surrounded.

“Huh? How did this happen?” Areca and White Sand were dumbfounded about how they got into their current predicament.

Both had executed a sneak attack and even if the opponent had faster reaction times, they would not have been surrounded so quickly.

At this moment, Fearless replied with a devious grin, “Hehe, you guys stood here for so long before making a move. This is really out of my expectations. It has been tough on my bunch of brothers.”

“Yeah, yeah, I almost couldn’t hold it in and burst out in laughter.” Ming Du chimed in at the side as the others also nodded in agreement.

“Can you see us?” Areca looked in horror towards Fearless.

A sneak attack was often unfavourable in the early stages of battle. Once an Assassin was discovered, there was a predictable response from them.

Fearless laughed heartily, “Of course we can see. Look at what is beneath your feet.”

Areca and White Sands looked down in dismayed and saw that there was an Eyeball Grass in the thickets.

Vainglory and Boson flew towards them and brought the two to the ground.

Upon seeing that the plot had worked perfectly, Fearless and the others displayed a satisfied smile.

Reasonably speaking, Areca and White Sands were not the strongest members of Team Satan. However, their assassin skills were highly advantageous in this arena making them extremely slippery and hard to catch.

Of course, killing these two would be an easy task. But for the Quan Zhen Sect, how could they be contented with simply killing them? They would definitely rob whatever equipment was available.

Fearless had already anticipated the arrival of these two assassins once Yellow Crane Tower was captured. He had preemptively placed the Eyeball Grass and the assassins movement were thoroughly monitored by the Quan Zhen Sect.

Assassins ultimately belonged to a class with a high amount of agility. They were extremely skilled in running away. Everyone waited patiently for the opportune moment when the assassins went for Yang Nuo and Ling Longmeng before proceeding to surround them.

The audiences were amazed at the completion of Quan Zhen Sect’s elaborate ploy. Quan Zhen Sect was once again praised for their cunning strategies.

On the other hand, Yellow Crane Tower started cursing and scolding Wang Yu and Frost Blade once again when he realised he had been used as bait again.

After robbing the two Assassins of their equipment, Wang Yu proceeded to smash the skulls of the two. They were promptly sent out of the arena.

Yellow Crane Tower left the arena unceremoniously. The crowd that saw the scenes and could not help but pity him.

Wang Yu and Frost Blade proceeded to inspect and clean their new loots.
